Samantha was terrific! We are very fussy leaving our labrador, Paddington, with anyone. We met with her beforehand, and we instantly knew that everything would be fine. She is extremely reliable, kept in touch with us consistently, and we were very pleased with her stay. We would happily use her again.. We would recommend her to anybody!!

I have a full time job in NYC, which consists of 4 in office days and 1 WFH day. I am able to make as many accommodations as I can. About: What truly sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience as a devoted pet parent — especially with senior dogs and emotionally sensitive pets. I cared for my beloved senior dog Rocki for 14 years, supporting him through every stage of life, including the extra patience, gentleness, and attentiveness senior dogs need. Today, I share my life with my dog River and also help care for my partner’s 16-year-old senior dog, so I am very comfortable with senior care, slower mobility, routine-based needs, and gentle handling. I’m highly attentive to body language, emotional comfort, and stress signals, which helps me support anxious, sensitive, or aging dogs in a calm and reassuring way. My home provides a safe, structured, and loving environment where dogs can feel secure and relaxed. I’m also patient and consistent with younger dogs, helping reinforce routines, calm behavior, and positive habits through gentle guidance and structure. Every dog in my care is treated like family with safety, emotional awareness, patience, and genuine love. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I structure my days around consistent walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and calm rest periods for my own dog, River, as well as my partner’s senior dog. Because caring for animals is already part of my everyday routine, I’m able to provide dependable, attentive, and structured care for pets staying with me. I prioritize supervision, emotional comfort, and routine so every dog feels safe, relaxed, and cared for throughout the day. In my home, pets are treated like family in a calm, safe, and loving environment. I follow each dog’s normal routine closely, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of rest and comfort. I pay close attention to body language, emotional needs, and stress signals to ensure every dog feels secure and relaxed. My home includes a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, cozy indoor rest areas, and close supervision throughout the day. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s established routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide gentle, attentive care, ensure safety, and send regular updates with photos so pet parents always feel reassured while they’re away.

This woman is a god send! If you are thinking of hiring her, stop thinking and hire her! I am very anxious about leaving my pup with anyone else but me, and I am also a control freak. Before our scheduled time Keoma jumped in a video call with me so we could meet and chat a bit. Right away I knew I could trust her to take care of Mr. Jacobs. She answered all my questions and she is so knowledgeable! She knows a lot about dogs behavior, you can sense her passion about animals when she speaks about them. Mr. Jacobs is not used to being around other dogs but Keoma’s pup, Pepita, it’s the cutest and sweetest little thing and Mr. Jacobs befriended her within the first hour under their care! She took care of him 2 days in a row. The first day he was scared at the beginning, of course, he’s only 19 months old and is not used to other people, we don’t go out much. But soon enough he was relaxed and having fun. On the second day, when he realized we were going back to Keoma and Pepita he was so happy!! Our boy loves them very much. Keoma is officially the one and only to take care o MJ from now on! Thank you Keoma and Pepita. See you soon!! ♥️

About: I’ve spent over 23 years caring for animals and grew up around large, strong dog breeds like Cane Corsos and Pit Bulls. I’m comfortable and confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I also have a deep love for cats and understand how different their needs can be. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level, whether that means long walks, quiet companionship, playtime, or simply being a calm presence. My goal is always to make your pets feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I already structure my days around consistency, movement, and responsibility, and as a runner, I’m very comfortable maintaining an active, dependable schedule. Caring for animals feels seamless rather than disruptive. I’m reliable with walks, feeding schedules, and check-ins, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether that’s exercise, quiet companionship, or routine care. I plan my schedule thoughtfully so pets receive consistent attention and are never treated as an afterthought. Safety, trust, and a calm environment are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I follow their established routines closely so pets feel secure and comfortable. I’m attentive to doors, leashes, and surroundings, and I move at each pet’s pace, especially in new environments. I keep spaces clean, calm, and predictable, and I respect both the pet’s boundaries and the owner’s preferences. I communicate clearly with pet parents and make sure pets are never rushed, overstimulated, or put in situations that feel unsafe.

About: HIGHLY EXPERIENCED WITH DOGS THAT HAVE BEHAVIORAL ISSUES!! Eager to work! :) I have grown up with, and helped care for, dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I have been training my dog, currently with assistance from a trainer. He was fearful-reactive and is now an amazing service dog in training. I have been a volunteer at the world’s largest no-kill shelter for 2 years now. I have handled dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I have worked with blind and senior dogs. I have run puppy play groups, as well as puppy mill, senior, and teen play groups. some behavioral challenges in dogs that I have worked with include: fearful; reactive; food and/or object possessive; stranger danger; seperation anxiety; dog vs dog aggression; strong leadership; mouthy; and more i’m sure i’m forgetting. I have taken several extensive dog training classes to improve my skill and knowledge. I was the first 16 year old to reach one of the most advanced dog levels. I am very well-versed in understanding dog body language. I have dealt with sick dogs as well as dogs with skin conditions. I have helped get the neighbors dog to eat, as well as go potty and play. I also have experience with cats from the shelter as i have taken advanced feline behavior classes. I am able to understand cat body language fairly well. I have worked with cats as well as kittens. I can care for, and clean up after, dogs and/or cats. I will always respect your pets boundaries. I will genuinely treat your fur babies as my own. My dedication and passion truly is to ALL animals. 🩷 I am a full time college student. I regularly update my calendar to show my availability. Make sure to check there! Can’t wait to hear from you :) I will make sure your pet has fresh food and water, as well as making sure there is nothing clearly dangerous left out that the pet could hurt themselves with or eat. I will ensure everything is as it was when I came, as well as closing and locking any doors I used. I will dispose of animal waste as instructed. On walks I have a steady balance and strong leash hold to ensure the dog stays with me. I may carry treats with me for minor training/intervention (if allowed and if the dog pulls or something like that). If your dog is scared of certain things or creatures I will take precautions to avoid anything triggering to the dog. Lastly, I will certainly make sure the pet(s) feel loved, happy, and relaxed.

Jack was the perfect solution for our senior Beagle Duncan, who needs to stay in his own space. Jack was super responsive to all our communications before, during and after the commitment. Jack stayed in our house and was willing and able to take care of Duncan's old-man needs including multiple daily medications, super early wake-up calls to be let out and cleaning up when Duncan had an accident. Throughout our trip we received numerous photos and videos of Duncan daily and we could see he was being showered with love and affection. Jack was also very gracious and patient with us when our plans were changed with short notice and he did everything he could to accommodate us. We would definitely use Jack again for our pet sitting needs and we would recommend him without hesitation to our friends.
