She arrived right on time, was patient with my two guys who are a bit anxious these days because we were recently displaced from our home by a fire, and patiently listened to all my (also a bit anxious) instructions. She asked good questions, sent me some pics while I was away, and kindly took in a package that was delivered while I was gone. She took the boys out twice and all was well upon my return. The dogs were clearly comfortable with her, and I was grateful to leave them in the care of someone solid, grounded, and attentive. I highly recommend Beverly to house sit with your pooch(es).”

About: I have been taking care of animals my entire life. I have always had cats and grew up with a dog, and I have adopted formerly feral cats as well as orphaned kittens and puppies, and I have fostered special needs animals. I lived on a small farm starting from the age of 5, so I have experience with various types of animals and love them all. I have taken care of puppies and kittens as well as older pets. I've always been told that I'm great with animals and wanted to go into animal care from a young age. I started my own petsitting business in 2023 and have loved getting to know so many different animals. I recently moved to New York and am excited to get know even more pets here! About: HIGHLY EXPERIENCED WITH DOGS THAT HAVE BEHAVIORAL ISSUES!! Eager to work! :) I have grown up with, and helped care for, dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I have been training my dog, currently with assistance from a trainer. He was fearful-reactive and is now an amazing service dog in training. I have been a volunteer at the world’s largest no-kill shelter for 2 years now. I have handled dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I have worked with blind and senior dogs. I have run puppy play groups, as well as puppy mill, senior, and teen play groups. some behavioral challenges in dogs that I have worked with include: fearful; reactive; food and/or object possessive; stranger danger; seperation anxiety; dog vs dog aggression; strong leadership; mouthy; and more i’m sure i’m forgetting. I have taken several extensive dog training classes to improve my skill and knowledge. I was the first 16 year old to reach one of the most advanced dog levels. I am very well-versed in understanding dog body language. I have dealt with sick dogs as well as dogs with skin conditions. I have helped get the neighbors dog to eat, as well as go potty and play, and dog walked for several clients. I also have experience with cats from the shelter as i have taken advanced feline behavior classes. I am able to understand cat body language fairly well. I have worked with cats as well as kittens, and cat sat several times. I can care for, and clean up after, dogs and/or cats. I will always respect your pets boundaries. I am currently an undergrad with the goals of becoming a veterinarian! I will genuinely treat your fur babies as my own. My dedication and passion truly is to ALL animals. 🩷 I am a full time college student. I regularly update my calendar to show my availability. Make sure to check there! Can’t wait to hear from you :) I will make sure your pet has fresh food and water, as well as making sure there is nothing clearly dangerous left out that the pet could hurt themselves with or eat. I will ensure everything is as it was when I came, as well as closing and locking any doors I used. I will dispose of animal waste as instructed. On walks I have a steady balance and strong leash hold to ensure the dog stays with me. I may carry treats with me for minor training/intervention (if allowed and if the dog pulls or something like that). If your dog is scared of certain things or creatures I will take precautions to avoid anything triggering to the dog. Lastly, I will certainly make sure the pet(s) feel loved, happy, and relaxed.

About: I have loved dogs from a young age and was always surrounded by them. I live in a safe neighborhood with parks nearby for your pup to play in. My home is fenced in with amble play space! I have a full time job in NYC, which consists of 4 in office days and 1 WFH day. I am able to make as many accommodations as I can. I will make sure your pet is taken well care of by keeping them active and entertained. I will do this by walking them around the park and areas by me. Playing with them at all times and making sure they feel safe.
