About: Every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for—even when you’re away. That’s exactly the kind of care I provide. As a lifelong animal lover, I understand that pets are family. I share my home with my sweet 6-year-old Cavapoo and my gentle 10-year-old Scottish Fold cat, so I know firsthand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family members. Before joining Rover, I worked at Dogtopia, where I cared for groups of up to 20 dogs at a time. That experience taught me how to understand different personalities, recognize body language, manage dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and ensure every pup feels safe, comfortable, and happy. When I was younger, I babysat and walked dogs for relatives and neighbors. I also know that leaving your pet can be stressful for you, too. That’s why I make communication a priority. You’ll receive regular photo updates, videos, and text messages so you can see your pet enjoying their day and have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands. When I care for your pet, my goal is simple: I want them to feel as comfortable, happy, and loved as they do when they’re with you. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family member and become someone you can count on whenever you need an extra helping hand. I am currently on summer break from college. From September 2026, I will be available to work at any time on Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoon/evenings and Saturday and Sunday. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply quiet companionship, I’ll tailor every visit to their unique personality and routine. I believe every pet deserves individual attention, patience, and lots of affection. That is how I am with my dog Flash and my beautiful cat, Princess Leia. Honestly, no request is too much, my dog and cat both are very particular in their ways.
“Michelle is an excellent dog walker. She is thoughtful, caring and has a great sense of humor. My dog is a game player and she has her number. Thank you Michelle for all you do.”

“Lisa was great! She was very focused on learning every detail she could about Malcolm ahead of the walk, and even came to meet us before we confirmed. It was a nasty, cold rainy day and Lisa showed up on time, with a smile and ready to roll! We will definitely be seeing her again!”

About: My main service is cat boarding! I have everything for every type of cat! I have wall perches and beds for cats who like to climb, I have tons of cat safe places for a shy cat to hide, and I have probably 10 different cat trees and scratch towers, and of course an endless amount of toys! My house is also always 100% dog free! My home is basically a kitty wonderland 🐈⬛ ⭐️ I NEVER board or sit dogs in my own home. My house is 100% dog free 365 days of the year! I know this is very important to some cat parents! ⭐️ I’m currently not available for any dog sitting or drop in services! I mainly specialize in cat care at this current moment! I don’t have dogs in my home, so if you’re looking for a cat sitter without dogs, I’m a good pick! I have cared for dozens of cats between sitting, boarding, and fostering. I have experience with cats with all different temperaments. If your cat prefers to hide for days at a time, or bounces off the walls at 3 am, I’ve seen it all!
About: I have taken care of my friends’ cats and dogs. I am gentle with a lot of patience and love to play with dogs. I have a lovely Goldie at home and she is very sweet and gentle. I stay at home from Monday - Friday and I have a backyard where our furry friends can play. I am usually free and got a lot of time. I have a fenced yard where dogs can play and I also love to take dogs out for walks. If we get close and they trust me, I’m also happy to take them out for hiking.

“Melissa was great! Melissa always responded to me if I had a concern or question. She was always on time and is very reliable. Lucy loved her and we will definitely be calling her again in the future!”

“Meryn is a great and reliable walker to our dog, who took to Meryn so quickly. We’re grateful to have Meryn helping us with walkings during the week. Super responsive and a great walker!”

“Anna did a great job walking our dog while we were away on vacation. Despite the snow and freezing temperatures, she walked her for the full 30 minutes twice a day every day. She was very flexible when I asked her to pick the dog up at a different location and communicated a bunch of times to update me on how things were going. I highly recommend using Anna.”

As a dog owner of an 11-month-old puppy, I understand the importance of patience, attention, and keeping a consistent routine. Pet care fits well into my routine, and I’m able to provide frequent attention and potty breaks. I’m back home for summer break, so availability shouldn’t be an issue. About: I have three dogs of my own, so caring for animals is a consistent and structured part of my daily routine. I prioritize long, intentional walks, enrichment, and balanced play to support both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I’m experienced with both dogs and cats, and comfortable with a wide range of sizes, breeds, and temperaments. With dogs, I’m familiar with everything from small companion breeds to larger, more energetic dogs. With cats, I understand the importance of respecting their space, routines, and comfort levels. In both cases, I pay close attention to body language and behavioral cues so I can adapt my care to each pet’s individual needs. I also have experience supporting animals with separation anxiety by providing a calm presence, consistency, and reassurance so they feel secure while their owners are away. I focus on creating a stable, predictable environment that helps reduce stress and build trust. Reliability, patience, and consistency are central to my care. I take time to understand each pet’s routine and reinforce positive behaviors during walks and visits, always aiming to maintain the structure and comfort they are used to at home. I’ve been around animals my entire life and bring both intuition and responsibility to every booking. My goal is simple: to provide safe, attentive, and genuinely caring support so your pets feel comfortable, understood, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I already care for my own dogs every day. I’m used to structuring my schedule around consistent walks, feeding, playtime, and general care, so it’s already built into how I plan my days. I have full-day availability and a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a variety of needs throughout the week, including dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I’m able to adjust my day based on each pet’s routine so they receive consistent, reliable care at the times they’re used to. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight house sitting, I prioritize being present, dependable, and attentive. My goal is to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible while providing calm, consistent care throughout the day or stay. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, respect, and maintaining a calm, familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box care, and any specific instructions provided, to ensure consistency and comfort. I am very attentive to each pet’s behavior and body language, which helps me respond appropriately to their needs and ensure they feel safe and understood. For pets that may experience anxiety, I focus on providing a steady, reassuring presence and minimizing disruption to their normal routine. I also provide updates as needed so owners feel informed and at ease throughout my care. I treat every home with care and responsibility, making sure to keep the space clean, secure, and exactly as I found it, while being mindful of safety at all times, including doors, leashes, and any specific household guidelines. My goal is to create a stable, trustworthy environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for, and owners feel confident that both their home and their pet are in reliable hands.
About: CPDT-KA since 2021, Positive Reinforcement dog trainer since 2019. I’ve had rescue dogs since I was 13. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to help out with your four-legged friend! While my schedule varies from week to week, I always have the time to help you and your dog. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
