Dog Walking Garden City

About: Hi, I'm Bri! I am 28 years old and a registered nurse (for humans). I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’m considering a career in animal care too! I adopted my first dog and rabbit when I was 9. Then, about 10 years ago, I fostered 2 dogs from a shelter and wound up adopting one of them. I have taken a lot of my neighbours and friends dogs on walks to the park and around the neighbourhood. I have a lot of experience with feeding, playing, cleaning, and walking dogs. Since I’m a nurse, I’m open to medical accommodations as well! Overall, any furbaby deserves eternal love! I'm up for discussion about availability and hours. Please feel free to ask me any questions about references or my services! I’m currently unemployed so my availability is very flexible. Since I have 2 pets of my own, an example of my usual pet routine consists of morning breakfast, walking the dog 3 times a day, playing with my cat throughout the day, and dinner. For your own pets, I can come to visit and play, feed and/or walk. Just let me know what their routine is like! First things first, safety! I will always assess the well being of your fur baby first. When going on walks, I am careful about street safety and weather to make sure we are safe on all aspects! Any weather that may be too intense can be dangerous for pets. I am very receptive to body language, which is so important with animals since it’s their way to communicate. Everyone, including our fur babies, deserves to have their own boundaries respected.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up in a house full of animals—at one point, we had three dogs, two cats, two bunnies, and even a chinchilla! I’ve always felt deeply connected to animals and understand the unique personalities and needs that come with each one. I currently volunteer with the Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group, and in the past, I’ve volunteered at North Shore Animal League and the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, where I worked with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. These experiences have helped me learn to read animal behavior, approach with patience and kindness, and make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. Though I’m now a bunny mom, I miss being around dogs—which is why I’m on Rover! Whether your pup needs a walk, some playtime, or just a little extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help. I do have a full-time job and mainly do this as a hobby because I genuinely love being around animals! That said, my work schedule is flexible, so I can definitely be available on an as-needed basis to help care for your pet. If you’re able to give me a little advance notice, I can usually move things around to make it work. I’m here because I enjoy it—not as a side hustle—so your pet will get care that comes from the heart. While I don’t offer pet care in my own home due to having rabbits, I’m more than happy to come to your home and care for your pet there! I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well taken care of in their own familiar space.

About: Ive had dogs my entire life. From when i was 4 years old with my very first cockapoo (who lived to be 16 years). To now as a college graduate, with three dogs of my own. All who have different personalities and age ranges. I have a genuine love for dogs and love yours as my own. Two of my current dogs are seniors so im comfortable with handling your old man/lady. Also i have all my dogs since they were puppies. So im used to that chaotic life stage. As a current college graduate (taking a few online classes) my schedule is very flexible. I can come and visit your furry friend almost any time of the day. My own dogs are crated trained as well as i have a fenced backyard. So i feel comfortable putting ur dog in a crate if needed. About: I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages, but I have the most experience with caring for adolescent to senior dogs. I have experience administering medication if necessary, and adhering to special diets per veterinary instruction. Pet care is my main job! I am fully dedicated to taking care your furry friend(s) and I'm fully available to meet you beforehand to ensure we're a good team! I am more than happy to spend time with your pet, whether that means playing, feeding, or just hanging out. Your fur baby will be safe and in great hands!

About: My main service is cat boarding! I have everything for every type of cat! I have wall perches and beds for cats who like to climb, I have tons of cat safe places for a shy cat to hide, and I have probably 10 different cat trees and scratch towers, and of course an endless amount of toys! My house is also always 100% dog free! My home is basically a kitty wonderland 🐈‍⬛ ⭐️ I NEVER board or sit dogs in my own home. My house is 100% dog free 365 days of the year! I know this is very important to some cat parents! ⭐️ I’m currently not available for any dog sitting or drop in services! I mainly specialize in cat care at this current moment! I don’t have dogs in my home, so if you’re looking for a cat sitter without dogs, I’m a good pick! I have cared for dozens of cats between sitting, boarding, and fostering. I have experience with cats with all different temperaments. If your cat prefers to hide for days at a time, or bounces off the walls at 3 am, I’ve seen it all!

About: I have had a dog my entire life. I helped provide senior care for my childhood lab who had issues walking and have self trained two puppies. I have had a cat for nearly 7 years and have cat sit for several friends and neighbors. I work remotely from home so I am am available when your pet needs me. I am a night owl while my partner is an earlier rise pets have someone awake at almost all hours. I have a fenced yard although I never leave my pets outside unattended, some sections of fence are less secure for smaller dogs or professional escape artists but can be temporarily altered when needed. I also provide walks and indoor playtime.

Between experiences with my own rescue dogs, working and volunteering in animal shelters, being lead supervisor at a doggie daycare/boarding facility, pet photography, and several years in the pet retail industry, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and experiences. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to help out with your four-legged friend! While my schedule varies from week to week, I always have the time to help you and your dog. I can easily crate dogs if need be, and can give medication to even the pickiest of eaters. I have no issues with getting dogs leashed, including getting them into harnesses or head-halters.
