About: I’ve had pets since I was little! I have experience with a variety of temperaments and needs in dogs and cats. My dog at home is a rescue who has some fear and anxiety-related issues, and I have become very comfortable with dogs who need a little bit extra attention and care to be able to come out of their shells. I work late afternoon to evening most days, so I have daytime availability. Before going to work, I love to take walks on my own! I have a fenced-in yard with plenty of space for dogs to run around. I have two cats and one dog who get along well with other animals.

About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. They’re honestly like family to me and I always treat my family with care, respect and love which is what a dog needs. I also have 2 dogs of my own and they is just the best thing that happened to me honestly and that’s why I’m working for this company because I’ve found something that I could work for and love doing what I do at the same time. I treat every dog like they’re mine! Every dog that has been to my house they are treated like our family, care for every one of them. I am home full time! Sometimes I go out to run a few errands which means I put the dogs in a crate but my mother works from home 2 days out of the week so if she’s there, she’ll keep them out and moving around on their own! Other than that, I am very free! Other than that, they will be taken great care of by me. In my home I have a huge clean yard that runs through the back, side and front it is fenced so the dogs could run freely around for daily exercise. I also love to walk so if your dog also loves to, we will definitely be a great match! I have two dogs of my own that’ll keep your lovely dog(s) company. They are very playful and welcoming, one is 6 years old and the other one is 5 years old, with all their shots and up to date with all doctor appointments. This is a smoke free house also. Your baby will be happy & safe here!

About: I have had pet cats and dogs for most of my life, have been focused on taking care of them as soon as I became 12. I have had cats, dogs, fish, all with varying health conditions. I know how to feed a pet pills, when to, how to keep a schedule for them, to care for them with love, spend time with them, and just to be around to help them. My Chocolate Labrador I had suffered from an enlarged esophagus, she had to eat in a specific way or she wouldn't keep down her food. She lived long and happy, even though most vets said to put her down when she was a puppy. I do not give up on a pet that wants to live, and will work happily to care and recuperate it. My current pet, a Russian Blue cat, has a problem with his thyroid, where he has to be given a pill every dinner and breakfast. I am able to sneak the pill easily into his food so he can eat it easily. I keep a tight schedule in feeding him that doesn't intrude on my other work or chores. I have driven my cat from veterinarians office to my home on several occasions, including my dog, and always drive easy and comfortable so that my pets won't get worried on the trip, or get tossed around. I even go on test drives for my cat so he gets comfortable in a moving car and doesn't worry about where he is going. I treat my pets with care, love and respect, and I treat my job entirely important and work as if I was working for myself. I will follow any and every rule you set for your pet, and treat them as my own. If you need me to drive them, walk them, care for them with medicine, their is nothing I won't be able to do for you and your pet.

About: I’ve had my dog for 6 years now. Since getting her I have taken care of her by feeding her, taking her on walks, spending time with her in general, and being the sole care taker when my family is away. I also worked at a pet supplies store for 9 months, only leaving to go to college. There I learned about what dogs and cats need in general as well as got experience interacting with the many different types of dogs when they entered the store. There I met a dog, Neo, who I got to know when I became there dog walker. It gave me experience in walking a dog and getting to know a dog that wasn’t my own. I’m excited at the prospect of working for you and your dog or cat. Animals are truly some of the best things the world has to offer and I promise to do my absolute best to take care of them! I am a full time student. I have availability on Thursday evenings, Fridays, and the weekend! I will have Monday and Wednesday availability starting on November 3rd. The most important part is making sure the dog is safe, for me this means making sure the dog doesn’t have access to anything that could be harmful, as well as when taking the dog on walks having the harness fully on in the correct manner and being on the lookout for other dogs/cars/and anything else that could potentially cause danger. That being said it is also important that I care for the dog by spending time with them, giving them treats(based on the owner’s preference), and petting them.

About: I have been taking care of my own dog since the year he was born, six years ago. I was 12 at that time and helped with walking my dog, and feeding him, also playing with him and keeping him entertained and feel loved. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to take care of my dog and play with him every day. I walk my dog in the morning, afternoon, and evening. I do more of walking dogs but I could care for the dogs in the clients home. I play with the dogs, walk them whenever needed, and pay attention to them so they feel loved.

About: I've always loved dogs since I was little but never actually had one. On a drive up to my dad's job, is when my birthday wishes had finally come true. My dad and I had rescued my dog, Ebby, from a busy nearby highway and since that day my love for dogs has grown even more. All I've ever wanted to do was make them as happy as they made me. I've owned my dog for nearly 10 years now and our bond is still strong, even after my four years spent up at college. I look forward to walking a bunch of dogs using this Rover app and I am also willing to take them on little runs if it's okay with the owners!
