About: I have grown up with and around dogs, big and small, my entire life. Cared for dogs from a puppy age all the way through the elder years. Know that all dogs have their own personalities and needs and am able to adjust accordingly. I believe in strong communication with the pet owners. They know their dogs the best and will be an extension of them when they are not around. I’m a boat captain and looking to spend time helping others and their dogs during the off season. I am free during the days and most evenings. Given enough notice I should be flexible enough to adjust to almost any schedule. About: I make sure every pet I care for is healthy, safe, and happy! I have experience dog sitting, and I previously worked at a pet store that offered boarding, doggy daycare, and supplies only for dogs and cats. I’ve cared for all types of dogs and am comfortable following medication instructions when needed. I also have a dog and a cat of my own. My dog is my world and my best friend, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I promise to treat every furry friend as if they were my own and give them the best care possible! I’m available most weekday afternoons and usually have availability on weekends as well. I do have a weekend job, but it isn’t consistent, so my schedule is often open. If possible, I’d just appreciate being notified about bookings at least two weeks in advance. Every dog is different, some love backyard potty breaks, others need outdoor time without walks (especially the speedy runners!).
