About: Assisted Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians in running our Animal Hospital that serves about 25+ small animals per day. Worked individually and with a team to do grooming procedures such as medicated baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, and sanitary shaves. Provided a calm and comforting environment while assisting with & administrating medications, vaccinations, blood draws, x-rays, etc. Maintained a fear-free environment and prevented waiting-area conflicts between patients while at the front desk completing clerical duties. I am applying to veterinary school and have a lot if flexibility with my schedule. Since I'm taking a break from working in hospitals and focusing on my academics, I would love to keep petcare as part of my routine. I treat overnight stays like your furry friends favorite sleepover. I will be sure to maintain their daily routines promptly and thoroughly, sprinkle in some of their favorite things, and shower them in love to keep them distracted from missing you too much while you're away. As for my more shy friends, I will be sure to acts smoothly and calmly throughout the night. I will try to build their trust by bringing as much predictibility as possible in this unusual situation.

About: I’ve been an equestrian for over 25 years and always had cats dogs and horses around. I would love to help care for your pets whether it’s for a walk or even an overnight stay I will watch out for them like they are my own. I am flexible this summer in the city for any and all pet care needs. I love walking around the city and checking out different parks and little pockets of peace in the city. I live in a third floor walk up in mid-town but am happy to crate or allow free range in the apartment. Additionally I have a private gated park for my building with tons of grass and shade. I am trained in proper dog walking etiquette to ensure your pets safety.

About: I have taken care of my sweet rescue dog Charlie since she was 1 year old. She is now 8 years old, and although she is older than when we first got her, we go on frequent walks and she loves trips to dog parks. Additionally, due to her living situation before she was rescued, she is a very anxious dog and can be shy or reactive. However, I have put in a lot of effort into communicating with her and understanding her. I give every dog the attention they deserve and make sure they are understood! I also have 3 elderly cats, so I have a lot of experience in giving animals medication and cleaning up whatever messes they might make. I currently work a flexible part time job, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I am happy to spend several hours a day or overnight stays with your animal & can work my schedule around your needs and comfort. I am extremely patient with whatever your animals needs may be! I can spend hours playing with your pet, or I can relax with them. I am very precise with food and medication, as each of my own pets have different specific needs.

We both have school at the moment, but we have conflicting schedules so either one of us or we both are readily available for boarding, drop-in’s, walks and house sitting!
