About: Over the course of my time I've taken care of and lived with goldfish, parakeets, a big old mutt, several great cats...and chickens. Considering that I grew up in Manhattan, I'd say that if that doesn't account for exeptional qualifications to love and care for our furry (or scaly, or feathered) friends, I'm not sure what could! Our kids are off exploring the world as newly minted adults leaving my wife and I with two finicky cats. With a little extra time on my hands I thought it would be a good idea to help other pet owners out to work all day or preferably, gone on a much needed vacation but looking for someone to check in on their furry loved ones. I freelance from home as a designer, so I typically have time at both ends of the day to extend a helping hand to anyone who needs a little extra care for their pet. We have 2 cats at home of whom I am the primary caretaker of, so adding a visit to a neighbor in need would be easy. I will follow all instructions and care indications you give for your pet(s) to the letter and provide pictures of completion if you request it.

I have experience dog sitting, and I previously worked at a pet store that offered boarding, doggy daycare, and supplies only for dogs and cats. I’ve cared for all types of dogs and am comfortable following medication instructions when needed. I also have a dog and a cat of my own. My dog is my world and my best friend, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I promise to treat every furry friend as if they were my own and give them the best care possible! I’m available most weekday afternoons and usually have availability on weekends as well. About: My family and I have a huge heart for pets and have raised many fur babies as part of our family, to old age. We have also lovingly cared for many friends and family pets, including Chihuahuas, Poodles, Cats, Guinea pigs, Huskies and a Pomeranian. I am CPR certified through RECOVER. I work from home as an auditor Monday through Friday. Someone is always home as my husband works from home as well. I will provide feedings as instructed, walks weather permitting, and an unlimited amount love. Your fur baby will enjoy playtime in our large backyard where they have plenty of room to roam. I am available pretty much any day of the week unless we go out of town on vacation. We live in a safe neighborhood with a fenced in front and back yard. Your fur baby will be free to roam inside and in the backyard, circumstances and weather permitting.

About: I’ve had pets since I was little! I have experience with a variety of temperaments and needs in dogs and cats. My dog at home is a rescue who has some fear and anxiety-related issues, and I have become very comfortable with dogs who need a little bit extra attention and care to be able to come out of their shells. I work late afternoon to evening most days, so I have daytime availability. Before going to work, I love to take walks on my own! I have a fenced-in yard with plenty of space for dogs to run around.
