Animals have always taken up a huge chunk of my heart. I form an unbreakable bond with every animal I meet (even if they aren't very fond of humans). At a very young age, I was introduced to my first real pet. The connection was instant. I began pet sitting for family and friends whenever possible, taking care to keep close attention to each animal's specific needs and wants. An immense love for animals consumes me, so much that I put the animal's needs before my own, no matter the circumstances. I have cared for and looked after birds, cats, dogs of all sizes, as well as but not limited to: bunnies, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, ferrets, chinchillas, rats, mice, gerbils, hamsters, reptiles (bearded dragons, iguanas, monitors, water dragons, snakes) turtles, tortoises, tarantulas, and freshwater fish. I ran a rescue right out of my home for many years by the name of Busy Birds. I took in frail, sick, senior, or unwanted animals from all over the state and the surrounding areas and nursed them back to health. Many of them stayed with me as fosters until they were adopted out to their permanent homes. But a large percentage of them won a place in my life forever. I have worked in the Veterinary field as a veterinarian assistant for three years. I have administered medications as well as syringe-fed fledglings, wild birds, and kittens on multiple occasions. I am also familiar with special needs animals. I walked dogs for a living and pet sat many different animals for multiple years. I have also managed four pet stores throughout my life and am very educated on diet, play, and intensive care.

A Truly Special Person Who Has a Gift with Animals 🩷 I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Ella. Leaving my 17-year-old cat, Lily, for 10 days was not easy, especially because Lily is incredibly shy and fearful of people. She was born to a feral mother and, in her 17 years, has never allowed anyone other than me to get close to her. Ella came twice a day to care for Lily, and what happened was truly remarkable. Not only did Ella earn Lily’s trust, but she was actually able to pet her, brush her, and even play with her! Something no one else has ever been able to do. To know that Lily felt safe enough to let Ella into her little world means more to me than words can express. This goes far beyond being a good pet sitter. It takes a very special kind of person to connect with an animal who has spent her entire life keeping humans at a distance. Ella has a beautiful soul, a gentle spirit, and a genuine love for animals that Lily somehow recognized and trusted. Knowing that Lily was not only cared for but also loved, comforted, and given the patience she needed while I was away brought me such peace of mind. I will forever be grateful to Ella for the kindness and compassion she showed my sweet, senior girl. If you are looking for someone to care for your beloved pet as if they were her own, I cannot recommend Ella highly enough. She is truly a rare find, and Lily and I are so lucky to have found her. 💜🐾

Schedule
I work remotely from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I am always only a phone call or a text away and am usually quick to respond. Whatever you need, I'll make it work!
