“Alissa and her fiancé are very sweet & kind. Such a welcoming & safe home. They were very attentive to my dog’s needs and even with other pups that were there, they made sure mine were taken care of properly. She has a great set up to separate any feedings, go out at any time if needed. They were happy overall! I will definitely have them watch them again in the future!”

“We had such a wonderful experience! Dior felt right at home from the moment she arrived and was so well cared for during her stay. We loved getting updates and could tell she was receiving lots of attention, love, and even some extra treats. Especially because Dior was in heat we were so happy she was comfortable. The thoughtful gift keychain was such a sweet surprise and really showed how much they care about both pets and their owners. We came home to a happy pup and couldn't ask for more. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and attentive to watch their dog!”

“I’ve probably used 50+ rovers over the years between my dog Betty and my previous and Pamela is without a doubt one of the best I’ve used. She truly cares about your pet like its her own, sends plenty of awesome videos and pics, and takes excellent care of them. She will definitely be my new go to!”

“We loved Vanessa, Storm and family! She was quick to respond, Sent plenty of pictures and videos and was very accommodating. Chance had such a good time, to the point we were worried he wouldn’t want to come home. We will gladly use Vanessa again!”

“Kierra went above and beyond to make us feel safe leaving a hope alone with a Rover for the first time. She communicated effectively during every visit, took excellent photos, and took time to really provide Hope with the care and love we wanted. She played and sang to Hope, as well as kept her food and water clean and full. We told her she didn’t need to do the litter every day, but she did anyway. Kierra was respectful of the apartment complex and timely with returning our key. Heart of gold and a friend of animals indeed. She even helped us with extending booking (when we messed up 5 times), We couldn’t have had a better experience or human to take care of Hope (who is a rescue cat but had no issues warming up to kierra)”

“Michael was great with Phil. He was quick to respond and communicated well, which made me feel comfortable leaving Phil with him. I will definitely use his service again. Thank you Michael”

“Lu boarded our dog and cat for a few days. Everything went great! He and his family are wonderful people and they took excellent care of our pets. We received daily updates with photos, and there was great communication. We are very satisfied with the experience and will call on them again next time we need a sitter. Highly recommend.”

“Just an incredible experience. Michelle was a pleasure to have dog sit Hero. She sent tons of pictures and videos and also gave Hero a bath! I would recommend her to anyone. 10/10.”

“Karina took great care of my Archie while we were on vacation for 10 days. She kept in touch and sent pictures/videos frequently. Archie came back acting totally normal like we never left. Highly recommend Karina for your fur babies!”

“Tanu and her family provided a safe environment for our two dogs. Our senior dog has medical problems, and Tanu communicated promptly when any issues arose. She exercised them regularly and sent us daily updates and photos.”

“Alba was the best sitter for our dog!! She took such great care of our pup and sent us photos and videos every day. Highly recommend booking her if you need a sitter!”

About: 💠 Hello! I offer pet care for when you’re not able to be there. I am available for drop-in visits, pet sitting, pet daycare, and also pet walking (even for cats!). 🚙 I currently provide pet care services for most of the Nassau County area and some parts of Nassau-Queens border. I am also able to travel to Manhattan with added transportation coverage. I am local: Repeat services booked with me receive special accommodations & rates. 🌃 Messages that are sent after hours on Rover may be responded to on the following day. 🔹 I’m experienced with small breeds, or toy breeds, specifically Pomeranians, been around them all my life, including newborns and senior dogs who were raised starting as puppies. 🔹 Experienced with docile cat breeds, in particular Persian, Himalayan, Ragdoll, Maine Coon and other related cat breeds. 🔹 Have experience with Goldfish, Bettas and birds such as Budgies, so knowledgeable about care. 🐾 I’m intuitive and pay attention to picking up the different ways a dog or cat expresses nonverbal communication, they constantly give us cues. About Me: I own a color-point Persian cat who is 7 years old that I enjoy spoiling. I can speak Italian, enjoy gardening, art, sewing, yoga, tennis & pilates. I’m a fan of the original Twilight movie directed by Catherine Hardwicke. 🐾 I’m currently providing pet care for a King Charles Cavalier who has mobility issues and dietary restrictions, but he is such a big mush! I am also caring for a special needs 4 month old kitten who needs to be syringe-fed, given both topical & oral medication on schedule, along with helping her with using a litter box. In addition to assisting with care of a (palm-sized) rescue kitten who is less than one month old needing to be bottle fed every few hours, given antibiotic medication for her eyes and frequent cleaning with wet wipes, due to being too young to know how to use a litter box. I have found it to be extremely rewarding and willing to look after a few more furbabies within my local area. 🔹 I’m trustworthy and reliable, I would always practice good manners. Respectful of privacy when I’m in a client’s home. I make sure that when I’m with your pet, safety is an upmost priority.
“Victoria is amazing! She made me feel so confident in leaving my dog with her! She is such an animal lover and was so communicative. She made sure Charlie was comfortable and welcomed into her home. She sent pictures and was constantly in touch! Hiring her again for December!”

“Janine was great! She made Rory feel comfortable and took good care of her for a week while we were away. I got daily updates and would definitely have Rory stay with Janine again, which I know Rory would love.”

“We left our basset hound with Krissy and her family for a few days while we had to go out of town. The entire time he was there I felt a sense of ease that I had never felt in the past with other pet sitters. Krissy stayed in constant communication with me and was super flexible with our dog’s needs. He doesn’t like to sleep alone and she even slept on the couch with him to ease his anxiety!! She followed every instruction I gave and watched him the entire time he was outside playing with her dogs. At the end of his visit, Krissy was so kind and gave us a little thank you treat and even cleaned our dog’s bowls!! I have nothing but amazing things to say about her and will definitely use her again!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hempstead
We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! From the moment we met her, we felt completely comfortable leaving our fur baby in her care. She was reliable, attentive, and genuinely loving. We received regular updates and photos which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Thank you, Grace!

Erica did a great job babysitting our two dogs while we were on vacation. She communicated with us every single day, kept us updated with how they were doing, and gave us peace of mind while we were gone. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy person sitter!

I had a great experience with Tina! She took the time to meet Summer on short notice before taking care of her. She sent pictures and updates twice a day and I could tell Summer had a great time. She also has a fenced backyard where Summer enjoyed playing fetch and getting her zoomies out. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.

Our three dogs loved their stay with this lovely family! We got pictures, videos, and regular updates. The videos showed us how much fun our dogs were having, they loved running around the backyard and even our very shy dog made good friends! We felt assured that our dogs were well cared for while we were away on vacation, and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing they were safe and happy. We will book again with Sonia and her family the next time we are away, for sure!
We used Nicole and Chris for a very last minute trip and have to say they came through as a blessing! My baby had an amazing time being spoiled by them! They were very responsive from the beginning till end. I received multiple daily updates with pics. He was walked, played with and came home very happy. Would highly recommend them. they both are very compassionate and responsible. Thank you Nicole and Chris for taking such great care of my baby!

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
