“They were great! Lincoln met with them a few days before the stay and was immediately comfortable. There house was very clean and the enclosed backyard was very spacious leaving a lot of room for the dogs to play and secure enough to prevent them from getting out. “Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. Once again, Vanessa is the absolute best! Each time I have left my dogs in her care, I have felt completely at ease knowing they are being loved, well-cared for, and have playmates to keep them company while they are apart from their family. She’s communicative (always keeping us updated with the cutest pictures and videos), patient, and goes out of her way to make sure all bases are covered when you have any particular needs for your pups. Being away on a busy holiday weekend, we got stuck in even worse traffic than expected and were late to pick up. She was so understanding and patient which relieved any extra stress we had. Excellent experience, from first communication on rover, to the meet and greet, drop off and pick up. Sonia and her son Kenny sent updates and pics everyday. My dog Levi gets a little nervous with new people but they were so patient and loving, he settled in so quickly. We had a great experience with Jaxon’s stay! It was his first time away from us, and she was very understanding and kept us updated with lots of pictures and videos. He was a little nervous the first day, but by day two he had settled in, made friends with the other dogs and bonded with her daughter. They took great care of him, took him for walks, and she even gave him a hygiene trim. Jaxon came home happy and well cared for. We would definitely use her again!
Nicolette is the absolute best! We were really nervous to leave our dog Melo with someone new for the first time and we couldn’t have been more happy to have found Nicolette. Alec is absolutely amazing! From start to finish, communication was clear, reliable, and reassuring. He truly keeps his word. Leaving my dogs for an entire week—especially with someone new—had me feeling pretty anxious, but Alec completely put my mind at ease. Throughout my trip, I was totally worry-free and stress-free thanks to the constant updates, photos, and videos. He kept me informed about everything—from how well they were eating, to their energy levels, and yes, even their “poop status” 😂. Vanessa took very good care of both our pups. It seamed that they felt right at home when we picked them up. While the pups were happy to see us, they were also very comfortable at Vanessa's.
