“Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. She even included a lovely note about the experience. Her thoughts were genuine, and it was nice for us to be reminded about the beauty of our dog whom we see every day.”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give to every dog I look after. I treat them like my own—with love, patience, and respect for their routines. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, and I’m comfortable with both puppies and senior dogs. I understand that each dog has its own personality and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe and happy in my care. Since I’m not currently a dog owner, I pour all my energy and affection into the dogs I sit for. I also have a fenced yard, which gives dogs a secure place to play and relax. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always keep pet parents updated so they can feel confident while they’re away. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, and I make time for it on weekends and some weekday evenings. I’m usually available on weekends for boarding and daycare, and with advance notice, I can provide walks or care after 5:00 PM during the week. Since I don’t currently have a dog of my own, spending time with pets through Rover gives me the chance to enjoy their company and provide the attention they deserve. It’s something I look forward to fitting into my weekly routine, and I always plan my schedule carefully to give each dog quality care and attention. When caring for dogs in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I live in a house with a fenced yard, so dogs have a secure space to play and get fresh air. I stick to their usual routines as closely as possible—feeding, walking, playtime, and rest—based on their owner’s instructions. I keep a calm, clean environment and always give plenty of love and attention. For walks and weekend daycare, I focus on making the experience fun and stress-free. I tailor walks to each dog’s energy level and needs, whether it’s a quick potty break or a longer walk for exercise. I also pay close attention to leash safety, weather conditions, and staying in familiar areas unless otherwise requested. Whether in my home or out and about, your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority.

When Tyke wouldn't eat his dog food, she went the extra mile and provided him some turkey to make sure he was ok and well fed. Tyke also likes to snuggle, and we received photos of them cuddling with our little buddy as well. Tyke enjoyed himself so much that he was a little sad when it was time to go! lol! “There are no words to express how thankful I am for the excellent care Grace provided our puppy when we went away on vacation. My puppy is an anxious dog, he’s never away from us and every time we go on vacation and get him back he always tells us how mad he was for leaving him. This was the first time that my dog didn’t show that attitude. He stayed happy and was back to his old cheerful self. Grace made his stay comfortable, he was kept clean and fed. We were updated with pictures and videos. Grace had also offered to have our dog spend a few hours several days before the real vacation to get my dog acclimated. Her place is very clean, has no odor, is air conditioned with a closed fenced yard for play. My dog who does not eat when not at home, ate and he was the same dog as we left him. She was welcoming during our meet and greet and answered no shortage of questions from this overprotective puppy mom. I boarded Libby with Gloria for four nights. Gloria sent photos and anecdotes each day, sometimes more than once a day. Additionally, she managed my concerns kindly which allowed me to vacation without worry. Libby was with several other dogs her size. Gloria has a wonderful daily routine for the dogs which includes outdoor and indoor play time as well as individual and group walks. Feeding and sleeping went smoothly. I would, without hesitation, recommend Gloria and will likely be back in touch the next time I need the services of a pet sitter.”
