I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, and I’m comfortable with both puppies and senior dogs. I understand that each dog has its own personality and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe and happy in my care. Since I’m not currently a dog owner, I pour all my energy and affection into the dogs I sit for. I also have a fenced yard, which gives dogs a secure place to play and relax. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always keep pet parents updated so they can feel confident while they’re away. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, and I make time for it on weekends and some weekday evenings. I’m usually available on weekends for boarding and daycare, and with advance notice, I can provide walks or care after 5:00 PM during the week. Since I don’t currently have a dog of my own, spending time with pets through Rover gives me the chance to enjoy their company and provide the attention they deserve. It’s something I look forward to fitting into my weekly routine, and I always plan my schedule carefully to give each dog quality care and attention. When caring for dogs in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I live in a house with a fenced yard, so dogs have a secure space to play and get fresh air. I stick to their usual routines as closely as possible—feeding, walking, playtime, and rest—based on their owner’s instructions. I keep a calm, clean environment and always give plenty of love and attention. For walks and weekend daycare, I focus on making the experience fun and stress-free. I tailor walks to each dog’s energy level and needs, whether it’s a quick potty break or a longer walk for exercise. I also pay close attention to leash safety, weather conditions, and staying in familiar areas unless otherwise requested. Whether in my home or out and about, your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority.
“The best sitter to book with! Xiaoying and her family are excellent and truly the sweetest! I had an overnight cat sitting service with them for a 7 nights and they sent me daily photos and videos and made sure to keep me updated! They also brought so many toys, a cat tree, and cat hideaway spots for my cat. My cat Lucki didn’t want to leave he really liked it there and it’s like his second home now😊 will definitely be rebooking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet sitter or boarding service! ❤️”

Michael took great care of my three chihuahuas, two of them are senior and require special treatment (special diet, medication). All three of them have difficult personalities too, and Michael was able to befriend them and make them feel at home! He sent us pictures and updates daily and was able to accommodate an additional day of care at a very short notice. Highly recommend Michael!
Pam was absolutely amazing! It's clear that she's a true dog lover and whisperer. Our dog, a miniature poodle, immediately took to her and was very well cared for. She sent us many videos throughout our dog's stay with her. She even fed him the Farmer's Dog, a very generous act on Pam's part to ensure he has all his nutrients. Pam's warmth and generosity and clear affection for animals put our minds completely at ease. We will be booking with Pam again!
Bo stayed with Ed for 3.5 weeks. Ed sent regular bideos of Bo, interacting with Ed and often playing with other dogs. Bo appeared engaged and happy to be with the other dogs. Ed complied with all our requests. He has a gentle and kind manner. When we picked up Bo he easily returned to his routine at home. We would not hesitate to recommend him and look forward to using his services in the future.
Vanessa watched my two dogs in her home a couple of weekends back and she was such a pleasure. She was extremely communicative and answered in a timely fashion, she made my dogs feel at home, and sent photos to me during their stay to relieve any stress I may have had. My dogs got along well with her dog, which I appreciated greatly; I loved that they were able to have fun with not only Vanessa and her family, but another pet. I also appreciated the fact that she was available with such short notice, as my prior plans fell through last minute. I will be sure to book with her in the future.
Alec is absolutely amazing! From start to finish, communication was clear, reliable, and reassuring. He truly keeps his word. Leaving my dogs for an entire week—especially with someone new—had me feeling pretty anxious, but Alec completely put my mind at ease. Throughout my trip, I was totally worry-free and stress-free thanks to the constant updates, photos, and videos. He kept me informed about everything—from how well they were eating, to their energy levels, and yes, even their “poop status” 😂. Knowing my dogs were happy, healthy, and well cared for made all the difference. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will 100% be using his services again in the future and would 100/100 recommend Alec to anyone who wants peace of mind while away from their fur babies!
Vanessa took very good care of both our pups. It seamed that they felt right at home when we picked them up. While the pups were happy to see us, they were also very comfortable at Vanessa's. It was our first time having Vanessa take care of our pups, and we are very happy we found someone so caring. She shared great pictures and videos during our time away, it was very helpful.
Caitlin and Erick are two lovely young people that have a great responsibility ethic and feel for animals. This was the first dog sit experience for my Havanese puppy Sandy while we delivered our son to college. Caitlin and Erick understood her special anxiety, were able to deal with her emotions and made her feel comfortable so we could do what we needed to do. I expect to book further dog sits with this nice couple and thank them for making Sandy’s first dog sit a good one.
Our three dogs loved their stay with this lovely family! We got pictures, videos, and regular updates. The videos showed us how much fun our dogs were having, they loved running around the backyard and even our very shy dog made good friends! We felt assured that our dogs were well cared for while we were away on vacation, and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing they were safe and happy. We will book again with Sonia and her family the next time we are away, for sure!
