Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was ten years old, and I have seventeen years of hands-on experience as a dog owner and caregiver in my adulthood. Family, friends, and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their dogs. I have experience with puppies through senior dogs, including puppy training and reinforcing established routines. I am comfortable administering medications and caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, and I am CPR certified. My own dog was my baby and truly like a son to me. We spent seventeen years together before he recently passed away in April. He traveled with me, went everywhere with me, and was a huge part of my life. Being a devoted dog owner myself taught me how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care. I will treat your dog with the same love, patience, attention, and respect I gave my own. I work full-time during the week, so I am primarily available for boarding and daycare on weekends and holidays, when I can devote plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. If your dog is comfortable being home alone during my workday, weekday care may also be possible, and we can discuss your dog's individual routine and needs beforehand. When I am caring for your dog, I want their normal routine to remain as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications, bathroom breaks, and bedtime routines. I live in a quiet home with a securely fenced backyard where your dog can safely spend time outside. I will only host 3 small or 2 medium dogs at a time. Dogs are welcome on my couches and beds, and if your dog normally sleeps with you, they are welcome to sleep with me too. I want my home to feel like their home while they are staying with me. Once again, Vanessa is the absolute best! Each time I have left my dogs in her care, I have felt completely at ease knowing they are being loved, well-cared for, and have playmates to keep them company while they are apart from their family. She’s communicative (always keeping us updated with the cutest pictures and videos), patient, and goes out of her way to make sure all bases are covered when you have any particular needs for your pups. Being away on a busy holiday weekend, we got stuck in even worse traffic than expected and were late to pick up. She was so understanding and patient which relieved any extra stress we had. We had a great experience with Jaxon’s stay! It was his first time away from us, and she was very understanding and kept us updated with lots of pictures and videos. He was a little nervous the first day, but by day two he had settled in, made friends with the other dogs and bonded with her daughter. They took great care of him, took him for walks, and she even gave him a hygiene trim. Jaxon came home happy and well cared for. We would definitely use her again!

Vanessa took very good care of both our pups. It seamed that they felt right at home when we picked them up. While the pups were happy to see us, they were also very comfortable at Vanessa's. It was our first time having Vanessa take care of our pups, and we are very happy we found someone so caring. She shared great pictures and videos during our time away, it was very helpful.
