“Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. Rachel Rachel was absolutely wonderful with Nilo. This was our first time using her services after our regular sitter had an unexpected emergency, and she was kind enough to meet with us right away. Nilo can be a little challenging at times, so I made sure to explain his personality, behaviors, and needs. Rachel was incredibly patient, understanding, and caring from the very beginning. She took the time to make Nilo feel comfortable, took him on several walks, and it was clear that he felt safe and relaxed in her home. Bo stayed with Ed for 3.5 weeks. Ed sent regular bideos of Bo, interacting with Ed and often playing with other dogs. Bo appeared engaged and happy to be with the other dogs. Ed complied with all our requests. He has a gentle and kind manner. When we picked up Bo he easily returned to his routine at home. We would not hesitate to recommend him and look forward to using his services in the future.
Alec is absolutely amazing! From start to finish, communication was clear, reliable, and reassuring. He truly keeps his word. Leaving my dogs for an entire week—especially with someone new—had me feeling pretty anxious, but Alec completely put my mind at ease. Throughout my trip, I was totally worry-free and stress-free thanks to the constant updates, photos, and videos. He kept me informed about everything—from how well they were eating, to their energy levels, and yes, even their “poop status” 😂. Knowing my dogs were happy, healthy, and well cared for made all the difference. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Vanessa took very good care of both our pups. It seamed that they felt right at home when we picked them up. While the pups were happy to see us, they were also very comfortable at Vanessa's. It was our first time having Vanessa take care of our pups, and we are very happy we found someone so caring. She shared great pictures and videos during our time away, it was very helpful.
