About: 💠 Hello! I offer pet care for when you’re not able to be there. I am available for drop-in visits, pet sitting, pet daycare, and also pet walking (even for cats!). 🚙 I currently provide pet care services for most of the Nassau County area and some parts of Nassau-Queens border. I am also able to travel to Manhattan with added transportation coverage. I am local: Residents of NEW HYDE PARK receive special accommodations and rates. * Messages that are sent after hours on Rover will be responded to the following day. 🔹 I’m experienced with small breeds, or toy breeds, specifically Pomeranians, been around them all my life, including newborns and senior dogs who were raised starting as puppies. I also have some experience with French Bulldogs. 🔹 Experienced with docile cat breeds, in particular Persian, Himalayan, Ragdoll and other related cat breeds. 🔹 Have experience with Goldfish, Bettas and birds such as Budgies, so knowledgeable about care. 🐾 I’m intuitive and pay attention to picking up the different ways a dog or cat expresses nonverbal communication, they constantly give us cues. About Me: I own a color-point Persian cat who is 7 years old that I enjoy spoiling. I can speak Italian, enjoy gardening, art, sewing, yoga, tennis & pilates. I’m a fan of the original Twilight movie directed by Catherine Hardwicke. 🐾 I’m currently providing pet care for a King Charles Cavalier who has mobility issues and dietary restrictions, but he is such a big mush! I am also caring for a special needs 4 month old kitten who needs to be syringe-fed, given both topical & oral medication on schedule, along with helping her with using a litter box. In addition to assisting with care of a (palm-sized) rescue kitten who is less than one month old needing to be bottle fed every few hours, given antibiotic medication for her eyes and frequent cleaning with wet wipes, due to being too young to know how to use a litter box. I have found it to be extremely rewarding and willing to look after a few more furbabies within my local area. 🔹 I’m trustworthy and reliable, I would always practice good manners. Respectful of privacy when I’m in a client’s home. I make sure that when I’m with your pet, safety is an upmost priority.

“From the very start, Pamela made us very comfortable by inviting us to meet before sitting for Clare, which we didn’t feel was necessary. Her warmth and professionalism was the perfect combination. Upon arriving to her home, Pamela immediately made Clare feel like a member of her family, showing us around, giving us confidence Clare was in good hands! During Clare’s stay, we could tell she was having fun as Pamela sent photos of Clare lounging and videos of her enjoying her stay. When we picked Clare up, she was in no rush to leave! She clearly enjoyed her stay with Pamela and her husband. We look forward to calling on Pamela again!”

“Alba was wonderful! She took great care of Turner. She played with him, took him for a walk and sent lots of pictures. I will definitely use her again!”

“Nieves.O was really helpful and made sure my Dog Nas was well taken care of and enjoyed his day so much he slept all through night.”

About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. They’re honestly like family to me and I always treat my family with care, respect and love which is what a dog needs. I also have 2 dogs of my own and they is just the best thing that happened to me honestly and that’s why I’m working for this company because I’ve found something that I could work for and love doing what I do at the same time. I treat every dog like they’re mine! Every dog that has been to my house they are treated like our family, care for every one of them. I currently just graduated college so as of right now I am home full time! Sometimes I go out to run a few errands which means I put the dogs in a crate but my mother works from home 2 days out of the week so if she’s there she’ll keep them out and moving around on their own! Other than that I am very free for now! In my home I have a huge clean yard that runs through the back, side and front it is fenced so the dogs could run freely around for some daily exercise. I also have two dogs of my own that’ll definitely keep your lovely dog(s) company. They are very playful and welcoming, one is 4 years old and the other one is 3 years old, with all their shots and up to date with all doctor appointments. This is a smoke free house also. Your baby will be happy&safe here!

“Krissy was phenomenal !!! I would recommend her to everyone if I could. She was great with my pup and treated him like one of her own. Countless updates and pictures made me feel like I was with my pup even though I wasn’t. Her family are all great as well and make you and your dog feel welcomed. I just want to say I appreciate you and even more so does Rocco! Thank you again Krissy”

About: Here’s a combined description for both cats and dogs, incorporating your experience with each: Hi, I’m Anna! I’ve spent 33 years caring for cats and 8 years working with dogs, providing loving, personalized care for pets of all ages. Whether it's walking dogs, administering medication to senior pets, or providing cuddles and attention during overnight stays, I’m here to ensure your pets feel safe and happy while you’re away. My own calm cats, Dracula and Mina, have been with me since they were kittens (they are now 12 & 10 years old), so I know just how unique each pet’s needs can be. From playtime to medication or just keeping them company, your furry family members will be in caring hands with me! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine because I run a hair care and aerial silks entertainment business, both of which offer me a lot of flexibility. This gives me plenty of free time to dedicate to watching dogs and providing the attention they need. I enjoy balancing my professional work with caring for animals, and I’m able to adjust my schedule to ensure your pets get the best care possible! When caring for pets in my home, I prioritize their comfort and safety. If necessary, I can set up a separate room away from my cats to ensure a calm environment for the visiting pet. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and opportunities for exercise. In my clients' homes, I follow their routines and preferences, ensuring their pets feel secure and loved. I make sure to adhere to any specific instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and medication. My goal is to create a stress-free atmosphere for pets, whether they’re in my home or their own.

About: What makes me special about taking care of any type of pet is that I give them my unconditional love, I dedicate myself to them and I make them feel at home, cozy and I give them the attention they need. This helps me because I am very dedicated to my routine. I get up early, eat healthy and exercise. Just as I am dedicated to my daily routine, I am also dedicated to the animals that I take care of and I dedicate myself to them. I have neighbors with very friendly animals. I also provide them with a clean and hygienic area, take them for a walk, play with them and give them my dedication, time and love.

About: *I can do doggy daycare for multiple pets ONLY IF they are from the same family.* For the past 3 years, I've dog sat for small, medium, and larger dogs, and both older, younger, hyper-active and hyper-dormant animals! I love dogs and cats of all ages and all levels of trusting. I have experience walking dogs, watching animals overnight, and recognizing signs of either sickness or a change in behavior. I also have experience with reading animal emotions, and this has always helped me to get along well with the pets I'm sitting to make sure I don't overstimulate them or make them feel scared! I'm available all day on every weekday and almost all day on the weekends! I typically am only doing homework in the afternoons, and I normally go to the cat cafe to study, as I love to be around animals when I'm doing work, coloring, or even just relaxing because it brings me comfort. In my house, I have my own room with a shared living space, which is quite spacious, and I have fenced yard which is well-kept and trimmed regularly. In my home, I care for pets who like to roam by letting them roam outside or in my room. I also set up a separate area in the room which the animal has to themselves, so they have a reference place for relaxing, sitting down, and food and water if they don't want to chill with me on my bed/ get my attention all the time. In the client's home, I would want the animal to feel as comfortable as possible, so making sure the animal can go where they want to, and allow them to guide me where they want to go. Regardless of the environment, I will always place myself where the animal is, so if they want to go outside, I'll move my things outside until they want to go back inside; I don't want them to feel confined! I will allow a pet on my bed, but it depends honestly on how much they shed because then that makes my life a bit harder.

“Bailey loves going to Helen’s! She runs to the front door in excitement when she realizes where we are. I had to stay late at work when something came up, and Helen was super accommodating.”

“Erica was awesome with our 3 yr old goldendoodle. She kept us updated throughout the day and sent pictures. He had a great time (at least thats what my dog told me, hehe) I definitely plan on sending him back to Erica next time he needs to be watched.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid and have loved every minute of it. I grew up with multiple dogs of all breeds and sizes, and now that I live alone and work from home, I have the time, space, and flexibility to give your pup the attention they deserve. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to sweet seniors—and I always aim to create a safe, happy environment where they feel right at home. Since I work from home and live alone, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take frequent breaks for walks, playtime, feeding, and just spending quality time with the dogs. Whether it’s a morning walk to start the day or some afternoon fetch in the yard, I enjoy building pet care into my everyday life—it’s something I genuinely look forward to. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment that mirrors their usual routine as much as possible. At my home, since I work remotely and live alone, your dog will get plenty of one-on-one attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and walks throughout the day. I keep things clean, cozy, and quiet—perfect for both energetic pups and those who just want to relax. If I’m in your home, I always follow your instructions closely to make sure your pet stays on their normal schedule. I respect your space, keep you updated regularly, and treat your pet like one of my own. My goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

About: My passion is taking care of others, including your pets! I have had a dog in the home since I was 12 years old. I find that the love we give and receive to animals is special and important. Please contact me for any scheduling concerns! I have a dog of my own who I make sure gets 3-4 30min-2 hour walks/day so if your pup is staying with me those are guaranteed. I have also been a volunteer EMT for 5 years, which has given me a lot of responsibility and experience. I take a break from this when I am in school. I have been a nanny upwards of 8 years who's families all had pets! I have a dog of my own who I love and care for daily. He has made me happy in so many ways and I only hope to do the same for your pets too. My dog is very well behaved and disciplined while also loving other dogs! If your dog is not friendly with other animals that is no problem for the daily walk. If your dog is a bit older or just not crazy about other dogs also no problem- my dog is a vibe matcher he will always back off if another dog is uninterested. If your dog does get along with other dogs great news, my dog will definitely tire them out!

“Nicole knew my dog from the boarding facility I had been using so she was very comfortable handling him and playing with him. Seamus is a big dog and can seem intimidating but Nicole knew he was just a big mush. He came home tired so I knew he had fun playing with the other visitors and running around in the yard.”

Andrea is truly a dog whisperer, my dog was so happy to be with her and was sad to leave her. We will Definitely be using her services again. Thank you!!

Goldie had a good first day. Eva kept me updated throughout the day and included pics. She is already sound asleep snoring LOUDLY. 👍🏾 More tomorrow as we’re back for day 2.

Nachay is a great sitter! She was so responsive when we first selected her, prior to the appointment. She asked specifics about feeding instructions, medications and any concerns about the dogs and their needs. She is very professional. Her home was well outfitted to keep dogs within well appointed areas of the home for their comfort and safety. She is well versed in safe introductions to her customer's dogs with her dogs. She has gated areas if, for any reason, there is a concern and dogs need their own space. She has a nice fenced yard too. Would use her services again!

Lewis was happy running around in the fenced it backyard with the four other dogs. Victoria texted fun photos .
