“Trying to find a great babysitter has been one of the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do especially since I own a large breed puppy! Those feelings changed after I met Vanessa and her family. They are the most loving family I’ve ever met! I felt very assured that my german shepherd puppy was in good hands. I cannot thank Vanessa enough for the amazing service she has provided!”

About: My family and I all love animals, so we applied to be pet's sitters at home care. We have a independent house with a yard, and there will always be someone at home 24 hours a day. The pets can move freely at home without too many restrictions. We have regularly clean to the house to ensure the clean and hygiene environment for all pets. I have over a year of experience in taking care of cats and over six years of experience in taking care of dogs. The longest time I took care of a cat was for two months. At the beginning, the cat would hide under the sofa for a week, but lately he became completely unrestrained and would lie on the bed together, play hide-and-seek with me, and explore every corner of the house. When the weather was good, the dogs could play freely in the yard. Welcome all cats and dogsto my home, we are the best friends of your pets! We can keep daily routine for all pet's. I am working part-time on weekends and I will come back at 4PM , but my family members are off on weekends. And my family members and I take care of all pets together. We have a independent house with a yard, and there will always be someone at home 24 hours a day. The pets can move freely at home without too many restrictions. “I will start off by stating Pamela truly a magnetic bubbly human being, her energy alone made me feel safe leaving Keanu in her care. Keanu he felt right at home immediately, and there was an instantaneous connection. Her home is immaculate, a great dog setting which in turn is 100% inviting for all pups. She is a gem and so is her animal loving hubby Jose. The countless videos, pictures are perfect and just makes me feel comfortable throughout his stay with Pamela. She shares her nutritious food and treats and he actually ate well (mini poodle picky eater). You will not be disappointed she is a true animal lover....her vibrant energy begins at her door and just elevates the owner and doggie like magic. Keanu is now a repeat daycare client and would have zero concerns when I need boarding. Thank you PAMELA”

“Omg Alba was wonderful for our special needs dog Penny. She was accommodating to all of her needs and she was willing to juggle her own schedule to be helpful. Thanks so much Alba. Penny seemed immediately comfortable. Sandy”

“Kierra was amazing with my baby boy Cosmic! She treated him like he was her own, and he loved playing with the kids! She sent pictures of him throughout the day and took great care of him. I’ll be sure to book her again in the future when I need to. Thanks Kierra!”

About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. They’re honestly like family to me and I always treat my family with care, respect and love which is what a dog needs. I also have 2 dogs of my own and they is just the best thing that happened to me honestly and that’s why I’m working for this company because I’ve found something that I could work for and love doing what I do at the same time. I treat every dog like they’re mine! Every dog that has been to my house they are treated like our family, care for every one of them. I currently just graduated college so as of right now I am home full time! Sometimes I go out to run a few errands which means I put the dogs in a crate but my mother works from home 2 days out of the week so if she’s there she’ll keep them out and moving around on their own! Other than that I am very free for now! In my home I have a huge clean yard that runs through the back, side and front it is fenced so the dogs could run freely around for some daily exercise. I also have two dogs of my own that’ll definitely keep your lovely dog(s) company. They are very playful and welcoming, one is 4 years old and the other one is 3 years old, with all their shots and up to date with all doctor appointments. This is a smoke free house also. Your baby will be happy&safe here!

About: For the past few years I’ve been the number one contact in my family to pet sit. From small to large dogs I’ve been paid to feed, walk, and brush them. Additionally, I have experience training and grooming my own dog. I’m a New Paltz student and although I have classes during the week, I am still willing and able to take care of your pets at times where I don’t have class and weekends! Although I cannot care for pets in my own home, I’m very respectful when it comes to entering others homes! The boundaries clients set will always be respected and I take pride in my abilities to properly care for and walk dogs.

I’m available to board on all days of the week! I work in clinical research remotely so your dog will get lots of attention and will go for several walks throughout the day. There are no restrictions on drop off or pick up times. We live in a really quiet neighborhood so walks are peaceful! There’s a park where we can walk around and enjoy the outdoors. In our home, we have an open set up and would love for your dog to spend as much time with us as possible. But if your pup needs some alone time, we have a separate area for your pup to decompress. We have a 3 year old toddler who loves dogs! We’ve taught him how to pet pups gently and he loves giving treats! He won’t interact with your dog unless the dog initiates. He stays away from the food and water bowl.

“Effie and Roxy hang out with Polly every week. Polly always has such a great time and I have peace of mind while I am at work knowing that she is well taken care of and having a great time with her new besties, Roxy and Effie. Thank you so much!”
“It took me a few days of research before I contacted a few people in this app. We met with Gloria and I really liked her and her home. We decided to give it a try and leave our 6 month old puppy for a daycare. Our baby is not very socialized and I was a little nervous how she will interact with other dogs. And of course it’s scary to leave her for the first time. Everything went smoothly as far as I can tell. Gloria sent pictures and our puppy was in a great mood when we picked her up. I’m very happy and we will definitely come back”

“Thank you for taking such good care of our pup Glacier tonight while we were visiting from Vermont. Y’all were very attentive, sweet and made us feel comfortable. We appreciate you!💕”

About: 💠 Hello! I offer pet care for when you’re not able to be there. I am available for drop-in visits, pet sitting, pet daycare, and also pet walking (even for cats!). 🚙 I currently provide pet care services for most of the Nassau County area and some parts of Nassau-Queens border. I am also able to travel to Manhattan with added transportation coverage. I am local: Repeat services booked with me receive special accommodations & rates. 🌃 Messages that are sent after hours on Rover may be responded to on the following day. 🔹 I’m experienced with small breeds, or toy breeds, specifically Pomeranians, been around them all my life, including newborns and senior dogs who were raised starting as puppies. 🔹 Experienced with docile cat breeds, in particular Persian, Himalayan, Ragdoll, Maine Coon and other related cat breeds. 🔹 Have experience with Goldfish, Bettas and birds such as Budgies, so knowledgeable about care. 🐾 I’m intuitive and pay attention to picking up the different ways a dog or cat expresses nonverbal communication, they constantly give us cues. About Me: I own a color-point Persian cat who is 7 years old that I enjoy spoiling. I can speak Italian, enjoy gardening, art, sewing, yoga, tennis & pilates. I’m a fan of the original Twilight movie directed by Catherine Hardwicke. 🐾 I’m currently providing pet care for a King Charles Cavalier who has mobility issues and dietary restrictions, but he is such a big mush! I am also caring for a special needs 4 month old kitten who needs to be syringe-fed, given both topical & oral medication on schedule, along with helping her with using a litter box. In addition to assisting with care of a (palm-sized) rescue kitten who is less than one month old needing to be bottle fed every few hours, given antibiotic medication for her eyes and frequent cleaning with wet wipes, due to being too young to know how to use a litter box. I have found it to be extremely rewarding and willing to look after a few more furbabies within my local area. 🔹 I’m trustworthy and reliable, I would always practice good manners. Respectful of privacy when I’m in a client’s home. I make sure that when I’m with your pet, safety is an upmost priority.

Uniondale dog parents share their Rover experiences
We were impressed with the caring courtesies Pamela extended to us as out of town, visitors needing pet sitting during a family wedding. She went above and beyond to make us and our canine son, Stanley, feel extra comfortable. Now, if only Pamela lived near us, we could take advantage of her more often!

Kierra watched my dog for a few hours during the day and it was a good experience. She was kind, easy to communicate with, and made the drop-off and pick-up smooth. I appreciated that she sent a couple of updates and photos, which helped me feel comfortable while I was away. My dog seemed well cared for when I returned. I would book with her again.

Once we met Nicole in person, it was quite evident the extent of knowledge, caring, and experience this young lady has for the animals, namely cats and dogs. She made suggestions and it worked, and once we left our pet dog Bella with her, she sent us pictures and videos to show how she was enjoying her time with Nicole and the other pets. She is very caring and has extra toys for the pets to play with, and a fenced backyard for them to run around free, which they all clearly liked a lot. Thank you Nicole for being so wonderful to our Bella and for the depth of knowledge and caring you have for the pets. Stay well.
