About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong dog lover who grew up with two Labrador Retrievers, so caring for dogs has always felt like second nature to me. From puppyhood antics to lazy afternoon cuddles, I know firsthand how much joy (and energy!) dogs bring to a home. I'm comfortable with a variety of breeds, sizes and personalities. Whether you pup loves long walks and playtime or just wants a cozy companion to snuggle with, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I work full-time at home with a flexible schedule. I live right by Prospect Park for long or short walks. When hosting a pet, I try to only leave for 2-3 hours at a time. I live in an elevator building. I don't have a yard but I do live near Prospect Park and love a good long walk. My apartment is spacious, even for New York, and guests of any species are allowed on the couch.
About: I have been a Rover sitter since 2022 and have enjoying caring for and spending time with so many different furry friends! My partner who I live with has spent their whole life growing up with a dog. Our duo will be able to show your adorable pup some love :) We also have a cat named Salem who we play with and even bathe... I am currently working full-time completely remotely so I will be able to care for and give attention to your pup and any hour of the day! About: I owned a dog as a kid and have been dog sitting on and off for ten years. I’ve cared for a range of dogs from small and medium sized dogs, yorkies to pit bulls, older dogs with disabilities to younger dogs that need medication. I freelance from home, so my schedule can be easily moved around for any dog needs. I’m a natural early riser so early morning walks and feeds are very easy for me. I have a pretty open living room and kitchen space, which is more than enough space for medium sized and small dogs to run and play around. In the past, I’ve had dogs sleep on their beds in the living room or my bedroom and if permitted/ comfortable just in my bed with me.

Our park walk is truly the highlight of my day, and depending on schedules and dog energy, sometimes we spend 3+ hours out there sniffing, wagging, and walking all over the park. While I can accommodate individualized needs and scheduling requests, to the extent possible, your dog will be integrated into our little pack. This will hopefully ease any separation anxiety. And by the end of the day(s) in the pack, your dog will have made new friends for life! My apartment is set up for my two wild and fun dogs with room to add to the pack. My living room is the dog’s room- it has been converted to be a haven for dogs with toys, dog beds, and space to play. All hazards have been removed and/or minimized in the dog play area (ie no choking hazards, cords out of chewing reach, etc). For overnight boarding, please note that I am only accepting dogs who have completed a successful trial day care day to make sure it’s a good fit before you head out of town. The dogs have an option of sleeping in the dog room or in bed with me. I have a king size bed so there’s space for everyone!

My dog had a fantastic time with Alexandra! She communicated very well, sent great pictures and updates, and made him feel right at home.
