“What a lovely person - I’d give her 100 stars if that were an option. To explain, I had to go into my office LAST minute and at 1230 am it was my first time using this app and I posted requests for someone to basically dog sit for the same day- she was immediately responsive even though it was a last minute request. I saw she had already gotten consistent great reviews and I was worried to leave my 7 week old shih tsu (like a baby) with anyone ) -Jameeka she handles all dog ages - she was responsive, kept me updated throughout the day. I even got stuck in traffic on the way for pick up and was late she was fine. The top 3 reasons I give Jameeka 5 stars is because 1) she is the opposite of stressful and worked with my unique needs, 2) she has great communication skills snd 3) it is clear she is an expert - my puppy was returned perfectly she gave me some updates and my puppy was happy and fell right asleep because Jameeka ensured my puppy got play time and exercise time - thank you !”

About: I have been a Rover sitter since 2022 and have enjoying caring for and spending time with so many different furry friends! My partner who I live with has spent their whole life growing up with a dog. Our duo will be able to show your adorable pup some love :) We also have a cat named Salem who we play with and even bathe... I am currently working full-time completely remotely so I will be able to care for and give attention to your pup and any hour of the day! I live in an apartment not far from Prospect Park so I'll be able to provide your dog with lots of room to play! All of the windows in my apartment have screens for added safety.

About: I owned a dog as a kid and have been dog sitting on and off for ten years. I’ve cared for a range of dogs from small and medium sized dogs, yorkies to pit bulls, older dogs with disabilities to younger dogs that need medication. I freelance from home, so my schedule can be easily moved around for any dog needs. I’m a natural early riser so early morning walks and feeds are very easy for me. I have a pretty open living room and kitchen space, which is more than enough space for medium sized and small dogs to run and play around. In the past, I’ve had dogs sleep on their beds in the living room or my bedroom and if permitted/ comfortable just in my bed with me.

“Our usual sitter who’s heaven sent is currently going through a personal trial and had to put a pause on dog sitting. So we turned to Rover and found Shanna. And we couldn’t be happier. She updated us throughout the day which made us feel at ease. She enjoys what’s she does and she’s such a sweetheart. We truly found another great sitter. Our dogs came home and went straight to their beds to take a nap. She played with them all day. She’s also very compassionate. She encountered an unexpected event and she updated us and actually mollified our concerns. There is something calming about someone who takes pride in what they do. And that is what Shanna was. And her mother and family are sweet. We will be booking with her again. And again……and again.”
