She updated me throughout the day with pictures and videos of him - that gave me a peace of mind. She send me texts about how he was when I left him and pretty soon Popcorn was very comfortable in Yiqi's house. I love how her daughter was so into playing with Popcorn which helps him relax and feel comfortable. I appreciate Yiqi's understanding when I was running late - she was not rushing me. When I finally picked up Popcorn - she gave me the latest update with what she did with Popcorn and how his walk was. All in all - Yiqi was very professional and loving to my dog and myself. The constant updates was a bonus to help me ease into Doggy Day Care. I have an upcoming trip so I will be considering leaving Popcorn with her and her family that week.”

About: *I only take one pet at a time for boarding and day care (two if they are in the same family). For additional pets, please inquire. My rates are firm and reflect the level of care I will provide.* I know the feeling of never wanting to leave your fur baby behind. Wherever I went, if I couldn’t take my pets with me, then I would rather not go at all. But sometimes when work calls or when you simply need a little “me” time, we need help from someone we can trust to love and care for our pets while we’re away. I would love to be that person for you! My pet care experience comes from working at and caring for shelter animals, caring for stray cats, fostering cats and dogs, and loving my own beloved pets (My two dogs that have since passed - Terri, 18, Maple, 12, and cat - August, 4). I’m fear-free certified and have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs (especially cushings, CHF, CCD). I can help with giving oral medications and am open to assisting with other needs if you’re willing to teach. If your pet knows any commands or is in training, I’m happy to help reinforce their skills too (just let me know!). In addition to my experience above, I was also featured on NY1’s New Yorker of the week segment for my volunteer work at Animal Haven, an animal shelter based in Manhattan. My home is super senior-dog friendly with rugs all around the house so your pups don’t slip, pet oxygen for emergencies, plus strollers for pets with special needs. I work remote and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I offer pet day care, house sitting, and boarding. Please see my calendar for availability. HOUSE SITTING - overnight stays in your home. DROP INS - 30 minutes and I’ll do whatever is needed in that time. This could be a combination of feeding, meds, quick potty/walk, indoor playtime, etc. For additional walking time, see pet walking. PET WALKS - This is an add-on service for drop ins. For an additional $20, I can provide 30 minutes of strictly outdoors walking, ideal for high-energy, active dogs. BOARDING - Hours are from 8am to 8pm, with some flexibility on drop off and pick up times. Your dog stays overnight at my place. I do a minimum of 2-4 walks a day, depending on your dogs needs. Owners must provide food for their pets, but I can also accommodate for an added fee of $10 per day (includes treats/meals). Please ask about food options and provide allergy info + food preferences if interested in that service. DAY CARE - Drop off for day care is between 7-8am to 4-6pm. Requests past these hours will be considered boarding. I will love and care for your pet the way you do for them. I treat every animal I care for like family, providing patience, space, and extra attention as needed. I’m super safety conscious and keen on details, so if there are any particular habits, routines, or schedules you’d like me to follow, if your pet is trained or undergoing training and there’s anything you want me to reinforce, or if your pet has special needs and requires special care, please reach out to me with those details. I am always willing and more than happy to work with you to make sure they are cared for and to give you peace of mind. Rest assured, you’ll be getting plenty of updates and photos from me!

“I reached out to Pamela, when my usual sitter did not tell me that she moved away. On such short notice Pamela was able to watch my dog with no problem. Needless to say I was very nervous just dropping my dog off to someone new but I really needed to do so. The biggest compliment I could give Pamela was that she took care of my dog as if it were her own. She sent me pictures and video's throughout the day. I could see how well she cared for him from the exchange as well as how happy and calm he was when he got home. I feel I have now found a new sitter that will take good care of my dog when I need to be away.”
