Availability
I work as a freelance video editor and can make my own schedule, so I'm able work around a client's needs. Pet care is also a welcome break from staring at a screen for hours on end.

Safety, trust & environment
I treat all animals no differently than I would our own. I take my little fur baby Colby out three times a day for at least 30 minutes and play with him on and off all day long.

Information Ben B. would like to know about your pet
Anything big or small. Obviously special needs and behavioral specifics are important but so is knowing that a dog prefers scratching behind the ears or toys that squeak.
A typical day
I like playing fetch, tug of war and I have extensive experience with flirt poles and saliva-drenched Kongs. I live in Midwood and I love walking dogs in my neighborhood. The Kensington Dog Run and the Pacific Park Dog Run both great places to socialize with other dogs, and for longer outings Prospect Park is a real buffet for the senses.

Never Met An Animal I Didn't Like
Pet care experience
I've had animals in my life as long as I can remember. My parents were big Dobermann rescue fans and I became accustomed to large dogs early on. It wasn't until I took care of a three-legged Chihuahau named Ingmar that I fell for smaller breeds. These days I'm a sucker for pretty much any pup I meet.
Reviews

Coco always looks happy when I pick her up from Ben's care. She jumps back-and-forth to us like she doesn't know who to go to - which really eases my mind about her stay with Ben and his pup Colby

Ben is excellent. He sent us lots of updates and pictures about our precious girl and kept her entertained and worn out. After trying a few other dog sitters he is now our go-to guy when we need our Mira cared for. So happy to have found him. Highly recommended.

My little Daisy spends a lot of her life in the care of others, due to the rigorous travel schedule work requires of me. I say all that to magnify the impact of my stance that Ben is the best sitter she has EVER had! Ben and his sidekick, Colby, took incredible care of my girl. He met with us prior to scheduling our overnight, which we always appreciate. He sent me regular updates and photos of Daisy during her stay with him. Overall, I felt extremely confident that Daisy was exceptionally well taken care of during her stay with Ben. We highly, highly recommend his services.

Ben provided excellent care for my seven year-old dachshund Coco. He sent me daily updates which provided comfort for this dog dad. Coco seemed happy and well cared for upon picking her up. She was wagging her tail and turned back to say goodbye to Ben (and his sweet Chihuahua, Colby) I highly recommend Ben to provide care for your pup... Coco will definitely be back!
