About: I treat every pet like they're my own — not a task to check off, but a responsibility I take seriously. A few things I bring to the table: patience and consistency, which matters a lot for anxious pets, senior pets, or ones adjusting to a new routine; genuine attentiveness (I'm not on my phone ignoring the dog on a walk — I'm actually present); and reliability — if I say I'll be there at a certain time, I'm there, and owners get clear updates so they're never left wondering how their pet is doing. I'm also comfortable with senior pets who may need a gentler pace, extra bathroom breaks, or medication reminders, and with younger/more energetic pets who need more structure and exercise to stay out of trouble. I approach every pet as an individual — reading their personality and adjusting rather than using a one-size-fits-all routine. I currently share my life with a pet of my own, so caring for animals is already part of my daily rhythm — feeding, walks, and playtime happen at consistent times each day, and I know how much animals thrive on routine and attention. My work schedule gives me flexibility during the day and on weekends, which means I can offer reliable, unhurried time to the pets I care for not just squeezing in a quick visit, but actually being present with them. Whether it's a midday walk, an evening check in, or a weekend stay, I treat every pet like they're part of my own routine, not an interruption to it. In my own home, I keep a calm, consistent environment — set feeding times, regular potty breaks, and plenty of one-on-one attention so pets feel settled quickly rather than anxious. I keep spaces pet-proofed and give dogs enough exercise throughout the day that they're relaxed, not restless. When I'm in a client's home, I follow their routine exactly as given — same food, same schedule, same walk routes if provided — because consistency matters most to pets when their owner is away. I send photo/video updates so owners can see their pet is comfortable, and I treat the home with the same respect and care I'd want for my own space: doors locked, mail collected if asked, and everything left exactly as I found it. For walks, I stay attentive and present the whole time — no distractions, leash secure, watching for other animals or hazards. For sitting or drop-ins, I make sure water, food, and any medication schedules are followed precisely, and I always leave a note or message summarizing the visit.

About: *I only take one pet at a time for boarding and day care (two if they are in the same family). For additional pets, please inquire. My rates are firm and reflect the level of care I will provide.* I know the feeling of never wanting to leave your fur baby behind. Wherever I went, if I couldn’t take my pets with me, then I would rather not go at all. But sometimes when work calls or when you simply need a little “me” time, we need help from someone we can trust to love and care for our pets while we’re away. I would love to be that person for you! My pet care experience comes from working at and caring for shelter animals, caring for stray cats, fostering cats and dogs, and loving my own beloved pets (My two dogs that have since passed - Terri, 18, Maple, 12, and cat - August, 4). I’m fear-free certified and have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs (especially cushings, CHF, CCD). I can help with giving oral medications and am open to assisting with other needs if you’re willing to teach. If your pet knows any commands or is in training, I’m happy to help reinforce their skills too (just let me know!). In addition to my experience above, I was also featured on NY1’s New Yorker of the week segment for my volunteer work at Animal Haven, an animal shelter based in Manhattan. My home is super senior-dog friendly with rugs all around the house so your pups don’t slip, pet oxygen for emergencies, plus strollers for pets with special needs. I work remote and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I offer pet day care, house sitting, and boarding. Please see my calendar for availability. HOUSE SITTING - overnight stays in your home. DROP INS - 30 minutes and I’ll do whatever is needed in that time. This could be a combination of feeding, meds, quick potty/walk, indoor playtime, etc. For additional walking time, see pet walking. PET WALKS - This is an add-on service for drop ins. For an additional $20, I can provide 30 minutes of strictly outdoors walking, ideal for high-energy, active dogs. BOARDING - Hours are from 8am to 8pm, with some flexibility on drop off and pick up times. Your dog stays overnight at my place. I do a minimum of 2-4 walks a day, depending on your dogs needs. Owners must provide food for their pets, but I can also accommodate for an added fee of $10 per day (includes treats/meals). Please ask about food options and provide allergy info + food preferences if interested in that service. DAY CARE - Drop off for day care is between 7-8am to 4-6pm. Requests past these hours will be considered boarding. I will love and care for your pet the way you do for them. I treat every animal I care for like family, providing patience, space, and extra attention as needed. I’m super safety conscious and keen on details, so if there are any particular habits, routines, or schedules you’d like me to follow, if your pet is trained or undergoing training and there’s anything you want me to reinforce, or if your pet has special needs and requires special care, please reach out to me with those details.
