About: Hi, I am Lisseth (Real name is Paola but I use Lis to make it easier on you), I am 29 years old and currently living with one male cat. I have had pets throughout the last 10 years, both cats and dogs from living with past roommates. I've dealt with a puppy(1 year), hyperactive dogs, and elderly dogs(1year). I am also able to teach tricks with my patience :) Physically, I'm able to walk long distances so your pup can be more relaxed than usual. If I'm pet sitting I am able to distract your dog with lots of playful time or just a relaxing petting time. I'm willing to learn your dog's personality so everything goes as smooth as possible. I am currently open for any occasion, walks and play time or overnight stays. My daily routine is simple and I am currently not going to school. I make sure to put safety first by being calm and alert while entering your home. Making sure pets are not alarmed as I enter your home.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since 15. I gained all of my experience that I have today through taking care of neighbors, friends, colleagues, and family’s pets. I am a loving, kind, caring, and patient person. I learned so much from caring for animals, that I adore them so much! Also additional, I have experience with puppies, kittens, and senior pets. I’m currently a college student, my classes are held online. Which gives me plenty of time to spend with the doggies. My weekends are busy but I can do mornings only. Because the weekends are the only days I have to finish my college work. I care for my clients pets like if they were my own. I make sure to make my clients pets feel as comfortable and safe as possible, like if they were in their own home. I love taking my time to get to know my clients pets because each pet has their own personality! I also make sure to follow any rules or meal plans that my clients leave for their pets.
“Zack was very attentive all day with the puppy and stayed in contact all day. He was very responsive while setting up the appointment and was timely. Highly recommend him and will definitely be using him again soon!”

“My whole experience with Mona from start to finish was excellent. She came to my home for a meet and greet right away. She is friendly, smart, efficient, kind, and respectful. She had a good sense of humor about dealing with the four spoiled cats. She called it “herding cats”. She took perfect care of my home, and even brought her own sheets and towels! I have already booked her for another stay in July. I give Mona an A++++!”

“Travis did an excellent job taking care of Maude while we were out of town. He sent videos and pictures, and it was clear he really enjoyed looking after her! This brought us so much peace of mind. Thank you Travis!”

“Tori was a wonderful cat sitter!! Our cat Kenji felt comfortable with her immediately and she regularly kept us updated on how he was doing, which we appreciated since we are super attached to him!! We are glad Tori stayed with him because he is quite clingy and we know she gave him all the love he needed, Would definitely recommend Tori to watch your cat!!”

“Jenn took amazing care of our little Fig. We are so grateful to have had such a trustworthy, responsible and communicative caretaker to give us true peace of mind while we were away. Would definitely love to use her services again and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Greg is fantastic! If you're looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter look no further! He did an amazing job watching our two pugs (who can be a handful at times!) for 4 days/nights. During our meet and greet, Greg was really thorough with questions, making sure we went over all of their needs and schedule in detail. He was an excellent communicator and sent us photos and updates every couple of hours! Highly, highly recommend!”

About: I have over five years of experience caring for cats and I’m also a full time cat owner with four cats of my own. Having multiple cats has taught me how different personalities, routines, and comfort levels can be. I’m experienced with playful cats, shy cats, and more independent ones, and I understand how important patience and consistency are. Friends and family regularly trust me to care for their cats when they’re away and I always treat every cat like one of my own. I’m a college student, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and I can reliably plan my time around your cat’s routine and needs. I take safety and trust very seriously, especially when caring for someone else’s pet and home. I carefully follow all instructions, including feeding schedules, litter box care, medications, and any special routines. I’m very mindful about keeping doors and windows secure, maintaining a clean and calm environment, and respecting your home. My goal is to make sure your cat feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.

About: I have a lot of experience caring for animals, both through volunteer work and for friends. In Ukraine, I volunteered with animal rescue missions where I helped ensure animals were safe, comfortable, fed, and loved. I often took dogs on walks and made sure they felt calm and cared for during stressful times. Friends have also trusted me to look after their pets—both by staying in their homes and by having their pets stay with me. I always treat animals with kindness and attention, making sure they feel secure, well-fed, and happy. I take this responsibility seriously and genuinely enjoy building trust with the animals I care for. Pet care fits very well into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate busy workdays, early mornings, and evenings something many NYC pet parents need. I’m punctual, reliable, and organized. I plan my day carefully to ensure each pet receives proper attention without being rushed. Long walks and check-ins are something I genuinely enjoy, not just a task. I always prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment. I carefully follow all instructions provided by pet owners, including feeding schedules, walk routines, and any special care needs. I’m respectful of my client’s home and keep everything clean and organized. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed, whether that means active playtime or quiet companionship. I never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations and always double-check doors, leashes, and surroundings during walks.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was about 8 years old. I grew up with a doberman and a cat both of which i loved dearly. I continued to have cats and dogs until I moved out on my own at 25, I now only have cats because of my building but would love to get back to walking and taking care of dogs! I’m a manager at a non-profit animal rescue group and take care of approximately 50 animals a week. This includes feeding, cleaning, playing and monitoring their health! I treat every animal I come into contact with as I would my own. There is always love and the utmost care. I’m on a sabbatical from my full time job now in sustainability so I have lots of time to do some pet care work! I still work at the animal rescue group but that is only part time. I offer services mostly at the client’s home and not my own because of my cats. While super friendly and cuddly I have no idea how they’d react to a large dog! But at the client’s home I’m extremely vigilant about pet safety and know what to do in an emergency. I’m very familiar with walking dogs of all sizes (even great danes) from my time as a doggy daycare employee.

I’m especially patient with shy pets and experienced with senior care, administering medication, ect. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in kind, capable hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely love spending time with animals. I’m flexible with weekdays and weekends, and I make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddle sessions, I’m committed to making pets feel safe and happy. I prioritize a calm, clean, and secure environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home . I follow all instructions carefully, keep hazardous items out of reach, and never leave pets unattended outside. I build trust with both pets and their parents through consistent care, clear communication, and regular updates.
Coney Island pet parents share their Rover experiences
We were moving from New York City to New Mexico, and our longtime dog sitter had also moved away. So we needed someone to sit Kirby, our rascally Golden Retriever, during our Going Away Party. Laura did an amazing job. Kirby loved her, and having Laura around all afternoon was a tremendous help. She's nice, smart, dependable. If you need someone to watch your pet, look no further: Laura is exactly who you need to contact.

Kati was amazing with our dog. Cersei was sad when Kati left because they got so attached. Kati also sent lots of updates/pictures throughout and was a great communicator. I will be lucky if Kati is available for our next need and I hope to be able to be a repeat customer of hers. Thank you, Kati!!

Nia was an absolute godsend! After reaching out to nine different cat sitters for Thanksgiving week with no luck — or no real sense of security — finding her truly felt like a miracle. Kylo adored her from the start, which is saying a lot given how hard it is for him every time we travel. He’s such a sociable boy and really struggles with the absence of people, but with Nia he was clearly comfortable, happy, and so well cared for. She sent thoughtful updates every day, paid close attention to his needs, and handled everything with so much care and professionalism. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone — and would rehire her without hesitation!

Alina was wonderful and at the last minute able to take care of Thor who wasn’t feeling the best. She was able to keep us updated with photo and video and even stayed late because we were running late getting home. We appreciated everything she did and so did Thor .

Mike is amazing! This was my first Rover booking, and he made sure everything went smoothly. He even came over a few weeks before our trip to meet us, our animals, and see the house. He also shared pictures and updates a couple times a day, which was great. We can’t wait to book him for our next trip. 😊

Nicole was amazing! We found her last minute and she was able to meet with us before watching Thor. For two anxious parents Nicole was able to make us feel comfortable. She was great with Thor and took him to the park which is his favorite place. She kept us updated and sent photos. Would book again!

Chelsie was a wonderful choice to watch our anxious pup Thor. She did a meet and greet which was great because the next day she came to watch Thor he immediately jumped on her like he knew her for some time. She kept us updated with photos and videos and Thor loved his time with her. Definitely would book again!
