About: Never had baby fever but my maternal instincts come out when I’m around a dog or a cat. I volunteered at a dog shelter while I was teaching in Taiwan. I would dog sit for my former boss whenever he was out for vacation or a conference. I’ve also lived with cats for two years, helping my roommates care for their cats in the frequent absense of their presence I work a hybrid schedule but over the summer I’m mostly remote so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I am flexible and open to the ways you care for your pet. The owner truly knows their pet the best so please let me know how I can best support you and your pet and provide the best care!

I felt super comfortable with Rachelle staying with our animals while we were away- so much so that we have booked her for another weekend coming up. You could not ask for better care for your pet than what Gillian delivers!! She gave our two greyhounds the most love and attention while we were away, kept us updated on all their fun activities, and was very thorough to make sure everything was perfect for them and their weird routines. This was their first time being away from us for a few days, and I can’t imagine having found anyone better for the job. Apartment was also so clean when we got back! If you’re looking for someone to love and care for your pet just as much as you do then BOOK GILLIAN!!
Layla was very responsive to all our questions and very communicative throughout her stay. Our cat was clearly so happy and at peace with her! Layla also left the apartment in great shape and was all around a joy to work with — she is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about animals.
John was a fantastic sitter for our dog. He was very responsive, communicative, and took a lot of care while watching our pup. Our dog separation anxiety and is prone to overheating in the summer, and John kept a very mindful eye on both of those things. He kept us updated while we were away, and our dog immediately took a liking to him. We will use John again very soon!
Astrid was an amazing sitter! We were nervous about leaving our puppy for the first time, especially for a vacation that was over a week long, but as soon as we met her, we knew both Pierogi and we were in great hands. She was incredibly communicative, sending us daily updates along with lots of photos and videos of our boy. Astrid was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond by even helping set up a dog playdate with our next-door neighbor. She also left our home spotless!! Teddy is so special!! They stayed at our place to watch Mina while we were gone for a weekend. Mina is very anxious and we rarely can leave her with strangers, but Teddy went above and beyond with her. We got so many great updates- I feel so grateful we found Teddy and will definitely be reaching back out in the future!
Jennifer is incredible and communicative! She sends photos and updates every day and the kitties are always calm and happy when I get back! Jennifer has stayed with them many times now and is an excellent sitter and houseguest and I’m always so happy to have her! And the cats are too!
Carmen was so kind with our senior dog. She needs more care these days and things can get a bit complicated, but Carmen handled everything smoothly. She’d made sure to meet us ahead of time as well to get to know our dog before house sitting. She was communicative throughout. Highly recommend!
