We were moving from New York City to New Mexico, and our longtime dog sitter had also moved away. So we needed someone to sit Kirby, our rascally Golden Retriever, during our Going Away Party. Laura did an amazing job. Kirby loved her, and having Laura around all afternoon was a tremendous help. She's nice, smart, dependable. Zara is the BEST SITTER EVER. I had a complex situation with some aggression between my cats, and Zara worked with me to understand how to help. When I got back, my house was so clean, and my cats were so happy, healthy, and purring - she did such an amazing job that some behavioral issues even resolved during her time of looking after them. She sent lots of videos and photos and updates, which was great as I’m a very anxious pet parent! Zara is truly the most wonderful sitter you could choose for your pets. I am so grateful for her help and will be booking again in the future!
How lucky we were to find Celine! Above and beyond what we expected. We’ve never left our two cats before and it was heart rending for us to leave them. Celine gave updates, was reachable at all times, and was easily able to feed both of them on their very rigid, very specific schedule, including their dental powder and treats and probiotics. One of our cats, a very small but intense little monster, got into a room she wasn’t supposed to be in (our fault, we should have moved the table) and Celine handled the situation immediately. This was a late-night emergency situation and Celine handled it with care and grace. I can’t believe I was actually able to enjoy my trip! Celine, thank you so much for everything! It meant a lot to our family.
This was our first time using Rover and having someone from a service come to housesit our Samoyed, who has separation anxiety. We were nervous at first but June put us at ease immediately. They scheduled meet and greets over the phone as well as in person so we could get to know them and so our dog (Lando) could meet June as well. They asked great questions and kept good notes about our house and Lando's routine. We really appreciated how much June communicated throughout the whole process as well as while we were gone, sending us pictures of June playing with Lando and rubbing his belly (his favorite). On top of all that, we came home to a tidy home which is so appreciated! We would highly recommend June and will be using them again! Thank you June!
Janet was a huge help and stepped in for me last minute, which I truly appreciated especially because I had a vacation booked. From the start, she was reliable and followed all of my care instructions closely. She even agreed to meet the dogs beforehand, within a short turnaround time. When I returned, my dogs were clearly happy, comfortable, and well cared for. My home was also left clean and in great condition. Janet was kind and attentive with my dogs, and it was clear they were in good hands while I was away. Overall, the experience was very positive. The only area for improvement would be communication. For an OCD person like me, I would have loved to receive more pictures lol. However, Janet was always quick to respond when I asked for a check in. I was satisfied with her care and would recommend Janet to others, especially if you need someone dependable and trustworthy on short notice.
Dylan was an absolute gem of a sitter. She apartment sat my dog and cat over the holidays and they adored her. We got frequent updates that showed us how happy our pets were, plus she left our apartment just as neat as when we left. We are so glad to have found her!
Quanda was amazing while house sitting our dog Subi! He has epilepsy and a strict med schedule so it makes us anxious to leave him, but Quanda was on top of his meds and took wonderful care of him, and sent us many updates. It gave us great peace of mind knowing he was in good hands!
Alexandria was wonderful while we were away visit family. She kept us updated every day and was very responsive whenever we reached out. Our cats were very happy and well cared for and we felt very safe leaving them with Alexandria during the holidays. Our home was clean and well cared for when we got home.
