I’m happy to offer dog sitting at your place. This is something I’ve done for years. I prefer it since it’s less stressful for our furry friends, but also since my partner at home is allergic. I always try to leave things the way I found them, or better if possible. I’m also happy to give you as many or few updates as you need!

I’m happy to know all about your pup! Please feel free to let me know whatever is needed for them to have a pleasant walk; do they get along with other sniffers? Maybe they are scared of things on wheels? Any allergies? Will they pull towards birds or other animals? If it’s a cat - any specific treats they like? Toys? Do they tend to appreciate pets all over or just on the head? Any and all information is appreciated. I love detailed instructions. You know your family member the best, and I’m here to try and make them as comfortable as possible while you’re away.

Every dog is different, and I try to read it on our walks. For a dog that’s social, a park is great! They can sniff loads and will most likely meet tons of friends. For a dog who is more of an introvert, I’ll try to find spots with more nature and less dogs. Some walk fast, while others like to have a slower pace, and both are totally fine with me. The walk is all about the dog. :) When it comes to cats I also work a lot with my intuition. Normally I have a slow and calm approach, and let the cats come to me first. If they don’t, I’ll do my absolute best to earn their trust and make them feel comfortable.

I’ve been a New York dog walker and pet sitter for 7 years. I worked for a company that offered care for all kinds of dogs; big, small, puppies, seniors, active, couch potatoes, and more! On top of walks, I’ve both dog sat and boarded dogs in the past, both for the company I worked for as well as private clients. I have also taken care of cats, and the occasional guinea pig, rabbit, chinchilla and I’ve even done chicken visits. As far as cats go, I’ve fostered a 3 year old cat for 6 months who needed help socializing. I have also fostered a stray that needed to be nurtured to health. These are some of the most giving experiences I’ve had, to help kitties found a happy forever home!

Our normal “cat nanny” pulled out last minute due to a family emergency. This was our first time using a pet watching service and Paulina was amazing! Very attentive and shared updates consistently. Even got our shy cats to come out and say hello! Would 100% recommend and book again.
Paulina was absolutely wonderful with my two cats, Maurice and Binx. I had her come twice a day for four days, and she was consistently timely, attentive, and incredibly patient. My cats are usually shy, but she took the time to earn their trust at their pace. They went from hiding to greeting her at the door by the end of her visits, which says everything. She followed my specific feeding instructions perfectly (which I really appreciated), and her updates were always thorough and detailed, giving me total peace of mind while I was away. You can tell she genuinely loves animals, and that really shines through in the way she cares for them. I will absolutely be using Paulina again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and kind pet sitter.
