About: Hi there, I'm Blair - a Brooklyn-based corporate girlie who is excited to care for your dogs and cats! I grew up with Rottweilers my entire life, so big, strong, misunderstood dogs have always felt like home to me. Five years ago I adopted my own dog, Rocket, at 8 weeks old. He's now a 60-pound handful with major reactivity, which means I've learned patience, calm energy, and how to read a dog's stress signals before they escalate. That experience has made me a better, more attentive sitter for every dog, not just the tricky ones. Over the years I've pet sat for many friends' dogs, including an elderly dog who needed extra gentleness, a slower pace, and a lot of attention to comfort. Whether your dog is a easygoing senior, a high-energy young pup, or something in between, I'll treat them like my own. I'm currently making a career shift to spend more time doing what I actually love -being outside, staying active, and caring for animals, and I'm excited to bring that energy (and Rottweiler-honed patience) to your dog or cat. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I have a flexible setup that works well for pet care. I'm fully remote on Mondays and Fridays, which means I'm home and available throughout the day for check-ins, walks, or drop-in visits. On Tuesday through Thursday, when I'm in the office, my best availability is mornings before work and evenings after — so early walks, feeding, or playtime fit easily into my routine. Weekends I'm wide open and happy to take on longer visits, extended walks, or overnight stays. Pet care isn't something I'm squeezing into a packed schedule. It's something I've built time around because I genuinely want to be outside and active with animals as part of my week. Alex did an amazing job watching my dog, Georgia, while I was out of town for over a week. She was consistently communicative (sent updates twice a day with cute pictures and videos) and even administered ear drops when Georgia’s allergies flared up. This was the first time I worked with Noa and she was amazing. I loved that she came prepared to the meet and greet with specific questions and wanted to fully understand Greta before committing. I had contracted her to stay at my place for 4 nights. She came I headed out to the airport… then my flight was cancelled and so was my entire trip. Zianne was wonderful! My sitter fell through last-minute for a long weekend wedding trip that I couldn’t miss. She was so patient, calm, and kind with my anxious 12 yr old pup. He has several medical issues and needs medications administered across several different timelines and Zianne was not phased by this at all! She sent frequent updates and even slept with Boot on her couch because her bed was too tall for him, and he doesn’t like to sleep alone. Zianne will now be one of my go-to sitters :)
Vibe check passed immediately 🐶 Adriana is thoughtful, present and exceeded expectations. Within 15 mins after entrusting her with our dog, she sent photo updates. She even did her own dishes (even though she could have used dishwasher). When we got back home, we could tell our dog was relaxed and happy with Adriana - highly recommend and we will def be asking her to sit for us again
I had a last-minute work trip and needed a sitter. I hit the jackpot with Grace. jaidi has a soothing and calming demeanor that meshed really well with our three cats, two of whom can be a little anxious and sensitive. two of our cats were currently being separated for some behavioral training, meaning there would need to be a little extra care and attention paid to them. she made sure the cats were swapped between the bedroom and living room to avoid feeling trapped in a small space for too long. bobbie can take a while to warm up to new people, but she seemed to take to jaidi rather quickly. towards the end of her stay, bobbie climbed onto her back which she only does with my partner (bobbie was originally adopted by my partner before we moved in together) and rarely with me. bobbie even went up on a vertical hammock for the first time since we installed it about 2 weeks ago. throughout our vacation, we got the cutest and most precious photo updates that made me feel like they were in the best hands and we had absolutely nothing to worry about. all to say, she worked her magic with our cats and they seemed to have a good time together. we will definitely be going to jaidi for all our future catsitting needs <3
