We feel completely confident leaving him with them - even when we’re out of the country. A few months ago we were in Europe and Billy had a health issue that required a vet visit. Karin and Charlie handled it all, allowing us to continue our trip knowing that Billy was getting everything he needed. Karin even prepared special food for him. We’re grateful to have found them.”

About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home animal lover who has plenty of time, attention (and a backyard) for your pet while you’re out of town 😊 While this is my first time on Rover, I grew up with cats, dogs, and birds, and have helped roommates and friends out with their pets while they go out of town for years. I'm living alone for the first time and missing my furry and feathered friends. Because I’m home most of the day, your pet will get lots of supervision, playtime, and companionship, not just quick check-ins. I’m very communicative, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind while you’re away. I hope to meet your pet soon. Feel free to reach out with any questions :)) I WFH so your pet will have someone around all day. I am able to do morning, afternoon, and night time walks, and have an enclosed backyard to play in if your pet needs some chill outside time off leash (it’s a Brooklyn rarity but somehow I managed to find one!) I only offer boarding. Generally I expect owners to bring their own supplies to be kept at my house for the duration of your pets stay. I have plenty of space and a backyard to play in. No one else lives with me, so you can rest assured your pet won’t be around a bunch of random people. If you are boarding for an extended stay I'll ask a few questions (how do we feel about dog parks, how is reactivity, any favorite parks or walks in the area we should hit, etc).

Avery and her husband Marc were splendid, excellent sitters for my dog Gus. They were so patient and knowledgeable with him as he is a senior with certain age quirks, medications to take, and just some things to look out for. My partner and I felt comfortable having Gus stay with them and we appreciated all the updates we got too. We can tell he enjoyed his time with them. We will definitely be rebooking with Avery again in the future and are so happy we were able to find senior dog lovers who enjoyed caring for Gus.
Sida and Adrian took such great care of Cora!! I felt super comfortable with them and would definitely trust them to look after Cora again. They were super responsive and communicative and I could tell from the photos they sent that Cora was having a good time.
Obie had an amazing time with Patrice! He is usually afraid of strangers, but went right up to her, he sensed how friendly she was. He has a sensitive stomach, and she was great with his food. This was our longest time away from him, and I felt very comfortable. I would definitely book again!
Rebooked - I could tell my dog was so happy when I picked him up! Mauricio is an attentive and loving caregiver, just as an owner would be. He is a great influence on my dog, he even helped with a bit of training for my goof ball, which was very appreciated. Would rebook again and again.
I cannot recommend Emily enough! This was our first time leaving our 10-month-old Maya with someone new, and I was immediately put at ease. We had a greet and meet about 2 weeks prior. Emily and her husband are so friendly, flexible and welcoming. Their home is cozy. Emily and her husband took great care of our Maya while we were traveling out of state for Spring Break. Maya stayed with them for 10 days. Not only did Emily send frequent photo updates and videos, but it was also clear that Maya was having so much fun exploring parks and their neighborhood and having plenty of playtime. Maya even took over their couch and monopolize the TV remote control to watch Animal Planet. Emily and her husband truly care for our Maya and took her into their home as a member of their family. Emily followed care instructions and routines strictly. She also followed all instructions for dietary needs and even made additional food for our puppy when the food we provided had ran out. We are so thankful to have found Emily to care for our Maya. I highly recommend Emily to anyone who wants their pet to be in the best care possible.
Jodie is terrific - she's has a great chill energy that meshes well with my Frenchie Lucy's quieter temperament. Jodie is super communicative and sends photos every day. I can tell Lucy relaxes right in when she's there, and I feel confident that's she's being well cared for and getting her cuddles every day. Thank you, Jodie!
Our pup louis had an amaizng time with Cindee! She was very responsive and flexible, our flight was cancelled at the last minute and she was able to take care of him an extra day. He got a lot of snuggles and she lives next to a park area for easy relaxing walks. We will def book with her again.
Tiana it was a really great dog sitter, icy got well acquainted during the time he stayed with her. I was very nervous because it was my first time leaving icy with anybody outside of my family and myself, but Tiana reassured me and sent me pictures every day and I really appreciate it. Will be re-booking with her again and would recommend anyone!
