About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have spent my life caring for them, including helping care for my family’s beloved senior dog, who is now 14 years old. Looking after an older dog has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and paying close attention to their individual needs and comfort. As a high school science teacher, I’m responsible, dependable, and organized. I understand how important routines are, so I’ll make sure your dog sticks to their normal schedule for meals, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and lots of love and attention. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m currently on summer break from teaching, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day. During the school year, I’m available before and after school, on weekends, holidays, and school breaks. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and keep you updated while you’re away. I live in a very dog-friendly apartment building with plenty of nearby walking areas. I’m happy to care for your pet in my home or yours, whatever you’re most comfortable with. I’ll follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions carefully, and I’ll provide regular photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

“Sara did a fantastic job with Patience! I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs doggy daycare for your furry friend. Patience is a young dog who needs a bit more activity than an average apartment dog, and I definitely think Sara delivered! She sent photos and videos of how Patience spent time, and I enjoyed seeing the mix of Patience being able to be a dog, and rest in between play sessions. When we got home, Patience was even tired enough to go right to sleep for the night. Thank you Sara, for being willing and able to provide the right care for a young dog!”
