About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 9 and although I don’t currently have a dog my roommate does so I have gotten continuous experience caring for him. My old dog was very anxious so I have experience caring for easily stressed dogs. I am currently working full time in person so will unfortunately only be available for continuous sitting on the weekends as I wouldn’t want to leave the dog alone for the whole day while I’m at work. I will follow whatever instructions you have for me exactly. Beyond that, I love playing with and interacting with dogs so I will be sure to keep them entertained for the duration of the stay!

About: My 11-year-old husky may be big and loud, but she’s truly a gentle giant at heart. She’s submissive, nurturing, happy, and incredibly loving — the kind of dog that naturally brings calm, comfort, and positive influence to other dogs around her. Through simple observation and consistency, she has even helped reinforce basic commands like sit, lay down, and “leave it” around the house. We live a balanced lifestyle full of love, structure, and fun. Whether it’s long walks, runs to the dog park, swimming, sunbathing, people watching, or simply relaxing as couch potatoes, your dog will have companionship, stimulation, and a safe, welcoming environment. I truly believe a body in motion stays in motion — and that happy dogs thrive with both freedom and care. I am currently not working - so i have all the time in the world to hang out with your best friend! I will always update you if anything changes. I currently keep a routine of regulars during the week (same time, same day) and enjoy the schedule. I have a wonderful dog to keep your dog company in my home. Dogs go to the bathroom about every 2 to 3 hours and I follow proper feeding instructions that are given to me. I never leave the dogs alone when I am dog sitting. I'm always happy to send any updates or pictures if needed. Additionally, I do have a car and am happy to do pick ups and drop offs for an additional fee.

About: I'm a patient and attentive animal-lover with many years' experience handling others' pets as well as my own. I've leash-trained my own dog since he was a puppy and am very tuned in to the mood and energy of dogs generally. I've studied dog breeds since adolescence and understand the traits, habits, and needs of different breeds (terrier vs. hounds, working breeds vs. toy, mixed breeds, etc). I also have several years' experience with cats, having 2 of my since they were kittens. I'm a writer and artist, so I can make my schedule flexible around my bookings and whatever pet care may be needed. I am looking for both reoccurring clients and clients with sporadic care needs. I care for pets by adhering closely to the client's instructions. I return pet items where found and only provide treats if approved by the pet parent. If the pet has any quirks or special needs — habits, triggers, harness wear, etc. — I take note.

Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I make sure they are in a clean, secure, and calm environment. After walks, I always wipe or wash their paws, and I can bathe them if needed. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, treats, routines, and any special requirements. If medication is required, I administer it responsibly and exactly as directed. I pay close attention to each pet’s behaviour and comfort level to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for at all times.
