About: I am an unapologetic single cat lady and lover of animals. I've been caring for cats my entire adult life - my own and others - and I can't imagine a life without them. I raised my first cat from kittenhood to her end at nineteen years old, and in that time I learned how special the human/animal relationship is. I know how much you love your pets because I feel the same way. I'm a freelancer, so my time is my own. I can easily come to your home twice a day for feeding or just companionship! I am also able to house-sit without too much advance notice, so if you're in a crunch I'm your girl. Of course I provide the essentials of existence - food, water, a clean box - but we know that cats need more than just the minimum. I will cheerfully offer whatever sort of affection and companionship your beast likes best, and I will make sure they are as happy as possible in your absence.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and experienced walker based in NYC. I grew up with a Bichon Frise who was part of my life for 17 wonderful years, so I know firsthand how much pets mean to their families. As a former Division I athlete, I bring discipline, focus, and reliability to every walk or pet-sitting job. I've walked over 80 dogs through Wag and maintained a consistent five-star rating, working with breeds of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. From energetic puppies to slower paced seniors, I tailor my care to meet your dog’s unique needs. I’m building my dog care business on Rover because this is something I’m truly passionate about. I take pride in offering top tier care, clear communication, and peace of mind for pet parents. Whether it’s a quick walk or play time, I’m here to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Let’s connect, I’d love to meet you and your pup! During the summer months, I’m available all day on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I’m happy to be flexible and work around your schedule whenever possible. If your dog has specific needs whether it's a slower paced walk, medication, extra playtime, or anything in between. I’m open to discussing accommodations to ensure your pup is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Just reach out, and we’ll make it work! Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I treat every pet with the same care and attention I gave my own for 17 years. Whether we’re walking through busy NYC streets or relaxing indoors, I stay alert and fully present to make sure your dog is safe, secure, and comfortable at all times. I always use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid high traffic areas when needed, and follow any specific instructions you provide whether it’s feeding, medications, or preferred walking routes. I'm also experienced in handling a wide range of dog temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior dogs with special needs. As someone who’s earned a 5-star rating on Wag walking over 80 dogs, I understand how important trust is when it comes to your pet. Communication, reliability, and transparency are at the heart of everything I do. You can rest easy knowing your dog is in good hands with someone who genuinely cares.

About: My name is Cayla and I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and special care. I genuinely love getting outside for walks and am comfortable handling larger dogs, including strong pullers. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and routine are always my top priorities! I’m available for walks after 5:30pm on weekdays, and since I work from home on Fridays, I can also offer boarding from Thursday through Sunday. I love getting outside for walks, so your dog will get plenty of fresh air and exercise! If I ever need to step out, your pup won’t be left alone for more than 2–3 hours - I make sure they always feel comfortable and cared! I live in a two-bedroom apartment in Brooklyn with my partner, Matt, and we have plenty of space to make your dog feel right at home. Your pup is welcome to roam the apartment freely, or if they prefer some quiet time, they can have our second bedroom as their own cozy space. For client visits, I’m happy to stay overnight when needed. If you’re nearby, I can also stop by every 3–4 hours to let your dog out, play, and give them some love and attention.
“Gabrielle and Sony are great. They readily agreed to a last-minute booking and were super communicative and responsive. They took care of everything we asked for, and we came home to healthy cats.”

“Fiona was super patient and kind with our timid little dog! She was also very accommodating to our schedule changes. We will definitely book again. Thank you, Fiona!!”

“Marie did an excellent job feeding and administering medication to my cat. My cat is very difficult to give pills to, but Marie was a champ. She was very communicative during visits and would take photos each time. Would hire again.”
“Anne-Charlotte was great! Mia was wiped out after her walk and play time which is exactly what we wanted. We also got plenty of updates and pictures - highly recommend!”

About: I have extensive hands-on experience in dog training, beginning with my first dog, a Jack Russell Terrier. Through agility and obedience training with her, I developed a strong understanding of canine behaviour, communication, and structure. I provide long, structured walks tailored to each dog’s individual energy level, temperament, and needs. At the owner’s request, I also incorporate basic obedience training, behaviour correction, and work on specific challenges such as leash pulling, reactivity, or lack of focus. I am attentive, patient, and consistent in my approach, always prioritising safety, mental stimulation, and the overall well-being of every dog in my care. I'm currently free on weekdays and sometimes on weekends too, early mornings and afternoons fits for me. I'm flexible for changes in my schedule and can adjust it to yours as well The safety and comfort of every pet is my top priority. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I make sure they are in a clean, secure, and calm environment. After walks, I always wipe or wash their paws, and I can bathe them if needed. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, treats, routines, and any special requirements. If medication is required, I administer it responsibly and exactly as directed. I pay close attention to each pet’s behaviour and comfort level to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for at all times.
“This was my first time having a pet sitter and Lukas did SUCH a good job. I got so many cute pics of my cats during my time away. He really went above and beyond and even made friends with my skittish male cat. Would 1000% book again!”

About: Growing up on a farm in Jamaica has enhanced my love for animals. I had multiple responsibilities, included making sure all animals were happy and well cared for. But out of all the animals, dogs brought me the most joy. I love helping animals develop into their full potential. All it takes is patience, which I have a lot of. I currently work full-time from home, this allows me to be more attentive to the animals needs. I enjoy going on daily walks. If owner prefer, I do enjoy long walks in prospect park. I highly recommend this service for larger dogs. I currently live in a massive one bed room apartment in Crown Heights. With plenty of running/playing space. I am a big believe in constant training. With a touch of positive reinforcement.
Red Hook pet parents share their Rover experiences
Izzy was absolutely amazing! I’m a first time Rover user. We have a guinea pig and it’s her first drop-in with a guinea pig and she was - super responsive, did a meet and greet, got daily updates, got daily photos, she was so good about leaving the key and making sure all was perfect and we had no worries on vacation! Highly recommend and we will be using Izzy as our regular go to!

Briana is always great to have watching our cats when we are away! She is professional, prompt, and great at interacting with the cats, even our stubborn shy cat. Briana is great at communicating every visit and is super accommodating if plans have to change. We enjoy working with Briana and highly recommend her for your cat sitting needs.
Meredith did a great job with my cat. I appreciated how good she was with communication. One of the days I was concerned about him, she went early to check in on him. My cat is a bit high maintenance, but Meredith followed my detailed instructions perfectly. I’d definitely book her again in the future. Thank you!

Hilda is an absolute gem! I can’t stress enough how much I appreciate her and her love and attention towards my kitty. Hilda has been my go to in the past and will continue to be! This was the longest period of time I have spent away from my kitty in 5 years (since I adopted her) and I felt so comfortable and confident knowing Hilda was caring for her- I was actually able to relax and enjoy my vacation without worry. I trust her implicitly with my pet and couldn’t recommend her more, if you are looking for not only a highly reliable but also animal LOVING care taker for your fur baby, Hilda is the one. ❤️❤️

Jennifer, what an amazing human, so professional and loving towards my cats. She genuinely cared so much for the boys. She kept me updated while I was away, which gave me total peace of mind. Came back to happy, well fed and well entertained cats after 2 weeks of being away. Thank you!
