About: I am a huge animal lover who has a very extensive history regarding animal care, both through and outside Rover. I have much personal experience with dogs, cats, and also fish. If you have any fish or other small animals, I can feed them during my visit as well. I have over 7 years of volunteering with dogs at an animal shelter which exposed me to dogs of all breeds, personalities, and sizes. I am aware that each pet comes with their own specific needs and methods of care and attention. I am a highly observant, patient, and responsible person who makes sure to remember the smallest of details about each animal. I am open to walking or taking care of any breeds! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I will treat your pet as if it were my own, and I look forward to meeting them! My schedule changes weekly, but I typically have a lot of availability in the daytime, particularly morning and early afternoon. Feel free to reach out - Last second bookings welcome! I am a highly cautious and responsible person, especially when working with animals. When working with your pet, I will quickly learn and work around their needs and limits.

“Ezra was a wonderful cat sitter! It was such a relief knowing my cat, Lily, was getting lots of love and care while I was away. I highly recommend Ezra if you’re looking for a cat sitter.”

“Eileen was fabulous-She accommodated our request for more frequent visits on very short notice and was able to administer medication to our strong willed cat. Squid got tons of play time and pets and looked happy in all the photos she sent. Would book again in a second!”

About: I grew up with medium sized dogs (German Shepherds) and have looked after several friends’ dogs (shown in photos). I love spending time teaching dogs tricks and training, and just generally being around them. I’m very flexible with availability currently as I am between roles. My next role will be hybrid so it will be great to have a reason to get away from the desk! I’d like to focus on dog-walking or short dog-sitting initially, building up to longer stays once your dog and I have built up trust. A long distance runner (half and full marathons), I’m currently easing back in after injury. I’d love to spend time exploring the neighbourhood and Prospect Park and even building back to jogging/running with your dog if you’d like! I’m a big believer in positive reinforcement and love how dogs connect us back to the natural world, getting us away from our screens! For new dogs, I like to give them space to get used to their new surroundings or used to me as a new person in their space. As they relax, I give them a treat or 2 and then build up to playing/giving attention. I would never take on a dog without getting their owner’s advice on any signs to watch out for.

“Jeane always takes excellent care of our kitty! We highly recommend her! She is extremely responsive, responsible, and every drop-in comes with what feels like a free of charge photoshoot 🐱. There’s nobody we trust more on this app!”

“I’m so grateful to have found Paulina! It’s obvious she really cares about the animals she cares for, giving our cat a special New Year’s treat, playing with her favorite toys and giving lots of pets. Our cat trusted her immediately!”

“Kara was amazing!!! took care of my boy with so much love and attention. extremely communicative and attentive to his needs. i will be booking again :) thank you kara, Casper is a very happy boy!!”

“Natalia was very communicative and provided plenty of pictures to make sure we saw our kittens were doing fine. She also administered medicine for one of our kittens which was greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend!”

“Lukas was very easy to communicate with. He understands the needs of the pet owner and understands that each dog is different and should be handled accordingly. He was amazing with my pups and kept me informed all the time. Surely recommend him.”

“Once again, Emily made us feel safe and comfortable while we were on vacation knowing our cat Belly was in good hands. Emily is always communicative, respectful, and professional and goes above and beyond to take good care of Belly. We will continue to use Emily whenever we can.”

About: New to Rover but not new to pet care! I’ve just set up my profile here, so you might not see reviews yet—but I bring years of hands-on experience with dogs of all kinds, and I’m happy to provide references from past clients, friends, or rescue staff I work with. A bit more about me: I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 7 years of experience caring for my own pup, Leroy, plus years of pet-sitting for friends and family, and working as a dog-walker back in college. I also volunteer weekly at Sean Casey Animal Rescue, where I walk dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. After recently wrapping up a demanding full-time role, I’m taking a sabbatical to recharge and reflect on my next steps professionally. In the meantime, I’m diving into the work that brings me joy and purpose—spending time with animals and being of service to my community. That means I have the time, energy, and flexibility to give your dog the attention they deserve, whether that’s long walks, enrichment activities, or extra cuddle time. I live just steps from Prospect Park and go almost daily with my own dog, and we do leisurely, sniff-filled walks that let him explore and decompress. If your pup is in training or needs more structure, just let me know—I’m happy to adapt. I’m also experienced in administering medications and have no problem carrying larger and/or senior dogs up stairs or into walk-ups—my own 55 lb pup has gotten quite a few lifts! I’m nearly 6 feet tall and pretty strong, so I’m comfortable handling big dogs, strong pullers, and even breaking up altercations if things get tense at the dog park. I’ve helped manage reactivity and frequently step in to support when needed. I can also handle multiple dogs on walks—but will only do that if your dog is well-suited to it. If your dog prefers solo time or doesn't get along with Leroy, I’m happy to leave Leroy at home with my partner and base care solely out of your home. I offer a full range of services, from walks and drop-ins to sitting, boarding, and even baths (available for an additional fee- tbd). Whether your dog is energetic, a senior (but still just a baby), shy, or a social butterfly, I’ll treat them with the same love and care I give my own. Bonus peace of mind: I live less than a block away from a veterinary clinic (where I am also a client), so in the rare case of an emergency, help is immediately accessible. Let me know how I can support you and your pet—I’m here to help! I’m currently on a sabbatical and have lots of free time to care for your pet! Walks, park visits, dog park adventures- you name it. Lots of snuggles, play time, interactive treats (if allowed/supplied), and any special requests as needed! Pets are allowed on the furniture and bed in my home.

About: Hi, I’m Pietro, a certified dog trainer (CCDP) and enthusiastic dog walker based in Brooklyn, New York. My journey with dogs began in Italy, where I grew up surrounded by animal lovers, and it deepened as I lived in London, Panama City, and now New York with my partner and our beloved rescue dog, Bruna—an avid fan of Prospect Park. With a professional background in dog training and years of experience caring for dogs of all kinds, I bring a unique and attentive approach to every furry friend I meet. My methods focus on positive reinforcement and creating a safe, playful, and enjoyable environment for your dog. Whether it's a long walk, a fun outing, or tailored training sessions, I ensure your companion feels loved, cared for, and confident. As a bonus, I’m also a photographer and can capture adorable moments of your dog for you to cherish and share. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members and provide them with top-notch care and companionship! Drop-Ins: 7 AM – 7 PM, Monday to Sunday Walks: Weekdays: 8 AM – 7 PM Weekends: 9 AM – 7 PM Pet care is a big part of my routine. Living near Prospect Park, I take my dog Bruna on daily walks and outdoor adventures, which I happily extend to other dogs I care for. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, exercise, or playtime, I plan my days to ensure every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I provide attentive, loving care for pets both in my home and in my clients' homes, customizing my approach to meet the specific needs of each pet and service. In my home, located just a few blocks from Prospect Park, your dog will feel comfortable and secure in a cozy, dog-friendly environment. Sharing my home with my own beloved dog, Bruna, I understand the importance of creating a safe, structured, and nurturing space. I ensure pets have ample opportunities to relax, play, and feel at ease, whether it’s enjoying quiet time or engaging in enriching activities suited to their personality. When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I maintain their routines to minimize stress and ensure consistency. I am attentive to every detail, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any special instructions you might have. I make sure your dog enjoys stimulating walks (especially in nearby Prospect Park for dogs that enjoy an outdoor adventure!) and plenty of love and attention while you’re away. Additionally, I bring my expertise as a certified dog trainer into every interaction. This means I emphasize positive reinforcement and good behavior during our time together, making the experience enriching and enjoyable. If requested, I’m happy to offer training sessions to support your dog’s growth and confidence. Whether in my home or yours, my goal is to provide the same level of care and compassion as if they were my own furry family member.

“Edison was super communicative and helpful when we booked them for a check-in and walk for a Lola and Romeo. Lola had a little poop issue (dingleberries are the worst!) and he took extra steps to make her comfortable and clean. Super recommend!”

“Annie took great care of our cat Scar! We came back after a week to a happy well loved kitty. Annie gave us great pictures and updates on our trip, which we appreciated. Will definitely book again!”

“Megan was wonderful! In preparation alone, she was planful, detail oriented and communicative. She also knows how to utilize the app really well (helpful!) Megan went above and beyond in caring for my med-needing, 3-legged cat, Lamb ?. She made a point of bonding with her and used all the toy suggestions I gave. She also tracked her behavior for me. She was always on time, gave a full report with multiple pics and reached out if any issues arose (which she handled with aplomb!) It was such a relief to me- knowing that my animal was so well loved and cared for in my absence. I lucked out in finding her, for sure. Thank you so much, Megan!”

About: I grew up with dogs and I just recently lost my 19 year old doxie mix (and my other love, Lacey, who was almost 17 over two years ago). I love dogs more than anything and miss my babies so much, so watching dogs makes me so happy. I have been volunteering with animal rescues for over 15 years including an animal hospice, adoption counselor at ASPCA, and most recently Bad Ass Animal Rescue. I have a lot of experience with dogs, and I’m getting certified in animal behavior. I work from home so I will be home all day with the pups. I take the dog(s) I watch on multiple walks a day or to the dog park depending on your preference. I have a medium sized studio with multiple dog beds and endless amount of toys. I have a dog friendly patio that’s completely fenced in. Dog parks are walkable, as is Prospect Park.

“Pietro and I are old friends. His parents have a little dog called Briciola and Pietro has always been very caring with her. When I got Bice, my dog and Pietro was coming over to my place to hangout, it was nice to see them enjoying their time playing together. Bice is VERY active and used to pull a lot when on the leash but Pietro gave me few tips to sort out the issues, and they worked! I was very confident that my dog was going to have the best time when staying with Pietro, because he was giving her all the attentions that she needed.
