About: I’m originally from the East Coast, where I raised and trained my black lab Rosie. In addition to taking your dog for a walk to get their legs moving and enjoy the outdoors, I’m also happy to incorporate any training that you may be working on. I loved training Rosie (taking her through Canine Good Citizens) and in another life probably would have become a dog trainer! I am an active runner and also training for the NYC marathon this year, so if your doggo likes to run I’m happy to take them with me to get some miles in! While I don’t have a dog of my own, I’ve been an affectionate dog aunt of many roommates’ and friends’ dogs and would frequently watch their dogs while they were away! I am not currently working as I am about to start grad school, so I am very flexible and have lots of time when it comes to taking care of your pups! I will make sure to stick to their routine as closely as possible, and give them time to adjust. I always want to ensure that your pet is comfortable and that having a new human around is as least disruptive as possible!
About: I've had dogs all of my life and have a sweet dachshund, Worm, at home now. My home is prepared for smaller and medium sized dogs and nothing intimidates me when it comes to the care of a pet. I work from home most days and have a flexible schedule so pups get plenty of time for walks, play, rest and cuddles. If your dog enjoys the parks, we typically head to Bush Terminal Park or Prospect Park for longer walks. My dog, Worm, is ready to keep another pup company. I can crate as needed or desired. When out for walks, I'll walk one dog at a time for safety of both pets and others on the street until everyone is comfortable.
“Layla came every evening for 10 nights to take our pup out for walks while I recovered from surgery. She was punctual, reliable and friendly with our reluctant, nervous dog. She got Rosie to look forward to seeing her and was so patient and sweet with Rosie. We’d absolutely book Layla again, Rosie will look forward to seeing her friend! Highly recommend”

“Cagri was very friendly and my Rocky loved him. He was able to handle his big goofy self. Rocky walked calmly next to him outside and did his business a few times. Cagri communicated with me when he was on his way and took pictures while on the walk. WIll definitely use him again for my dogs walk. Rocky gives him 2 paws up.”

“I have a senior dog with separation anxiety and Henry was great with him! Henry was very communicative even checked up on him after I got home from work. Highly recommend booking Henry!”
“Trinity gets my ultimate endorsement! Was dealt a tough hand with rain and thunder and put in extra care to ensure my little guy would be comfortable. Cannot recommend enough!”

About: I grew up with dogs in Ohio, until 18 when I moved to NYC, in 2004. I adopted my last dog Buckley in 2010. Since then, I have become sort of an uncle for my friends dogs. I have been caring for 3 dogs in my friend circle, at the same time or solo for 5 years. I’m also a classically trained singer, and the dogs seem to find peace in singing. I was a full time caregiver and helped adopt and raise 3 dogs with that family over 10 years. My roommate has 1 small dog, that I take care of when needed. I take care of a 2 year old female dog most days of the week, mostly to keep her company as her mom works. Dogs are allowed to run around and play freely. I tend to be consistent with picking things off the floor which may be dangerous. I keep my attention on them at all times. My goal is to make them comfortable.
About: When I was in kindergarten, when asked what my dream job was, I said “pet sitter.” I even have the ‘About Me’ booklet to prove it. I grew up with animals and now, my partner and I live in Brooklyn with our two cats, Dancer and Prancer. I’ve cared for dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors, and I know how important it is to give pets love, attention, and plenty of enrichment. I’ll make sure your furry friends are well-fed, happy, and treated with the same care I give my own. My work-from-home schedule makes midday visits super easy, and I’m always around to give extra cuddles, playtime, and supervision whenever your pets need it. I am available to care for your babies during the week and on weekends as I work from home 3 days a week with the flexibility to work from home when needed. I treat your pets as I treat my own, making sure they get all the love and enrichment they need! I understand how important routine is for our furry friends so I make sure to stick to any routines they may have.
“Lindsay was absolutely wonderful. Was communicative and flexible to make some walks work while I was out of town. She was professional and gracious, provided detailed reports and pictures, and overall I would recommend her with no hesitation and use her again. Thanks, Lindsay!”

About: I’m still very new at this but I take care of my friends dog for 3 days a week and I can promise everyone i’ll treat your pets as if they were mine, just like how I would want my cats to be taken care of! I'm currently available 7-10 in the mornings everyday and available anytime on Monday and Thursday! I work night/mid shifts so only mornings. I live with my parents so whenever I need to go to work I make sure someone is always watching my cats, I always keep their food bowl full/water and keep toys out just incase they would like to play with them. When I'm home I always spend time with them cuddling and playing with a string toy because thats their favorite.
“Maria has been really great working with Cashew. Since our meet and greet she’s been very responsive, asking great questions and really paying attention to the details about his care. We’ve done a few walks already and are looking to transition into a day care. Cashew is very shy with people at first but Maria has done her best to earn his trust! Cashew is hoping she gets more smaller dogs so he’s got a few his size to play with - if you’re reading this and you have a smaller dog (Cashew is 14lbs) and live in the area I’d highly recommend to work with Maria and join the gang!”

About: I take a lot of pride in the fact that people trust me with their furry family members. I’ve cared for different pets (walks, check ins and sittings) for dogs, cats and a bunnies throughout college! I now have a kitty of my own 🧡🐈 I’m a full time artist/ metalsmith and am looking towards pet care as an opportunity to get outside and hang out with many furry friends :) I’d always care for every animal with importance and like they are my own. & strive to do the best of my abilities to meet the owner’s request.
About: I have trained both cats and dogs of all ages. Pet care is very important to me, as I have had pets all my life. I make sure to deliver my best every time. I am generally available, most available during the weekends. The earlier the booking, the better for me, but I usually have space for sudden appointments. I make sure not just to take care of the pet's essential needs, but to actually spend quality time with the pet. Whether it's chilling on the couch or going for long walks, I make sure to leave the pet in a better mood.
“Hannah has been walking my pup since we moved to Nashville and has been great! She’s flexible, a great communicator, and has been very responsive when I’ve made changes or have had specific requests! Definitely recommend”

“Teddy was great with Arvi. We had to schedule last minute and it was a not a problem at all. Teddy was quick to respond and sent us pupdates during and after the walks. About all you could ask for!”
Greenwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first time ever using a dog walker, and I was honestly pretty nervous about it, but Ella made the whole experience easy and reassuring! She sent tons of photos and updates during the walk, which immediately put me at ease. She communicates proactively, asks questions, and clearly pays attention to details. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone reliable and attentive with your pet!

Maaidah is amazing, she provides great updates throughout and goes above and beyond to really make you comfortable as having her as your caregiver. I can’t thank her enough as she is one of the best sitters I’ve been connected with since being on the rover platform. Highly recommended

Aurora watched my dog and made me feel exceptionally comfortable. She came before hand for a meet and greet and showed up exactly on time. She was prompt walking Lily and always sent updates and pics! Much appreciated her good communication skills, punctuality and her full reliability.
