“Layla came every evening for 10 nights to take our pup out for walks while I recovered from surgery. She was punctual, reliable and friendly with our reluctant, nervous dog. She got Rosie to look forward to seeing her and was so patient and sweet with Rosie. We’d absolutely book Layla again, Rosie will look forward to seeing her friend! Highly recommend”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 9 and although I don’t currently have a dog my roommate does so I have gotten continuous experience caring for him. My old dog was very anxious so I have experience caring for easily stressed dogs. I am currently working full time in person so will unfortunately only be available for continuous sitting on the weekends as I wouldn’t want to leave the dog alone for the whole day while I’m at work. I will follow whatever instructions you have for me exactly. Beyond that, I love playing with and interacting with dogs so I will be sure to keep them entertained for the duration of the stay!

“Amanda is such a joy! She has been so kind and patient to gain the trust of our tough little customer of a dog. I appreciate her very much & highly recommend her to take care of any pet she meets.”

About: I grew up with dogs in my family, so I’ve been around pets and helping care for them since I was very young. I now have cats of my own and take care of them every day. I’m very comfortable with feeding, playing, walking, cleaning up after pets, and of course giving them lots of attention and company. Having lived with both dogs and cats, I understand that every pet has their own personality, habits, and needs, and I’m always happy to follow their usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. My schedule is pretty flexible right now, so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! I’m available throughout the week and on weekends, and I’m happy to work around their usual routine for walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of company. I offer drop-in visits at your home, where they can stay comfortable in the environment they already know. I’ll make sure they’re fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of attention and playtime, and have a clean and safe space. I’m also happy to follow any specific routines or instructions you have and will always treat your home with care and respect.
“Cagri was very friendly and my Rocky loved him. He was able to handle his big goofy self. Rocky walked calmly next to him outside and did his business a few times. Cagri communicated with me when he was on his way and took pictures while on the walk. WIll definitely use him again for my dogs walk. Rocky gives him 2 paws up.”

About: I’m a Park Slope-based dog walker with years of experience caring for pets of all ages and demeanors. I love getting to know each dog and tailoring every walk to their unique needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, young, or senior. My goal is to make every outing safe, engaging, and fun, so your dog comes home happy! I’m currently doing freelance video production work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I am available most weekdays and some weekends, days and nights. I live in a clean, first-floor studio apartment with no pets or children, creating a quiet, low-stress environment for visiting dogs. I prioritize safety, close supervision, and plenty of affection to help them feel comfortable and at ease.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a kid. My friends know that I am the go-to person to take care or check in on their pets! I am currently between jobs so I have a lot of free time within my week! I am definitely able to get out of my house to check on pets! Caring for pets in my client's home entails keeping to a feeding schedule or bathroom break, lots of affection, and ensuring your pets safety and comfortability!
“Angelica was so wonderful to work with! She came by to meet my pup before our walk and was super communicative before and after. Would love to work with her again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs, bunnies and cats. Not afraid of bigger dogs either. Walked several dogs on rover with awesome feedback. I’m quiet, respectful and friendly. Mostly available in the morning til 1pm on weekdays. Locations nearby F train subway stops are the best (Fort Hamilton parkway, 15 st, 7 st, 4ave & 9st, smith st, Carroll gardens, Bergen st). May also be available on other days and times depending on the schedule. I’m originally from Taiwan, studied in the Midwest (Michigan), worked in LA, and moved to Brooklyn with my partner. I’m a freelancer (UX design) and want to meet some furry friends and get to know the neighborhood. How I meet/ interact with furry friends: say hello, meet their eyes, palms up, show no signs of aggression, approach slowly and give a scratch if they look comfortable. I use a firm voice and gesture to calm them down when needed, too. Feel free to leave more instructions.
“Joanne was patient and attentive to Jack. My dog is pretty hesitant meeting new people. However, Joanne’s calm energy allowed Jack to be less fearful. He walked with Joanne with no issues which is wonderful!”

I am a very active person and love to go on long walks with my dogs and would love to go on one with yours! I am a dog mom to two 6 year old very active and playful Australian Shepherds. I would care for your dog, as if they are my own! I am excited to walk your dog and provide exceptional care to your babies! I have been caring for animals since I was young and I truly feel the most happy when helping others and their pets. I am a teacher so I am available starting in early afternoons, evenings, all holidays and weekends! I am available as an on need basis :) I have two friendly dogs of my home so I know how to take care of your babies. I will honor any requests and directions you have. If our dogs will be together I will require we set up a time for them to meet beforehand.
“Maria walked my two crazy dogs and they were so happy to get out in the snow and trusted her right away. I’m impressed she was able to handle them as they both pull and aren’t the best walkers. The dogs came home happy and tired and we got great pictures. Would definitely ask Maria to walk them again.”

“Stephanie was very professional. We were thankful she was able to fit a last minute meet and greet into her schedule. She convinced our dog to go out in the rain (not an easy task). Stephanie communicated with us throughout the weekend so we were never in doubt as to when she was going to walk our pup and that he was in good hands.”
About: If I were a dog, I would be a golden retriever. I enjoy running around and have plenty of energy when I'm outside, under the sun, to keep up with your own furry friend, who I would love to get to know. I grew up caring for my family dogs, an amazing and friendly Shiba Inu named Howie, and an equally amazing, but sometimes curmudgeonly shepherd-terrier mix named Max. I have extensive experience taking Howie and Max for long walks, giving them baths, feeding them treats and supplements needed to keep them healthy, and caring for them when they are sick. I have a degree in psychology, and while most of it was centered around people, I think a lot is applicable to doggos as well. I am a very patient person who understands that each dog has his or her own personality and I love to take the time to get to know each one individually. I just moved back to New York and am excited to start walking dogs again after doing it for several years in San Francisco! My schedule is very open currently and I'm looking to prioritize walking and caring for new 🐕 friends. I am living near Bedstuy and am willing to commute most anywhere in Brooklyn, Queens, and parts of lower Manhattan. I care for each pet differently depending on their personality and energy level. I think it is important to spend time being patient and getting to know each dog, and meet and greets are great for that! I will typically try to give them lots of love and attention when they are in my care, as well as engage with them by playing with their favorite toys.

Ian has been such an amazing dog walker for our Black Lab Freya. Also communicative, and Freya was always so happy to see him when he came by. Would recommend Ian in a heartbeat to anyone looking for someone whos incredibly reliable, and also truly enjoys being around animals.

Daniel is amazing. One of the best dog walkers I ever encountered. Very caring, very attentive and makes sure that your pup is safe. I am very picky about who I let walk my dog and after only the first day I can feel at ease when Charlie is with him. 10/10. I will book him every chance I get!

Once again, we booked Tracy! We had a last minute trip within a few weeks of our last booking with Tracy & we were lucky they were available. Our dog, Ella, looked happy-as-can-be on all the walks; Tracy even pulled a few packages that were delivered while we were away. We recommend Tracy; 10/10, every time!

Rochelle was amazing with our dog Pinot and clearly very dedicated to taking great care of any pet she walks. She setup a meet and greet and asked all of the questions to make sure she understood Pinot’s specific needs. I really appreciated how thorough she was and super easy to work with especially for our last minute request! Will definitely work with her again!

Brianna is a wonderful dog walker! She was always reliable, dependable, and took such great care of our dog. Our dog absolutely loved going on walks with her and was always so excited to see her. We felt completely comfortable knowing our dog was in such good hands. I would highly recommend Brianna to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!
