About: I’m originally from the East Coast, where I raised and trained my black lab Rosie. In addition to taking your dog for a walk to get their legs moving and enjoy the outdoors, I’m also happy to incorporate any training that you may be working on. I loved training Rosie (taking her through Canine Good Citizens) and in another life probably would have become a dog trainer! I am an active runner and also training for the NYC marathon this year, so if your doggo likes to run I’m happy to take them with me to get some miles in! While I don’t have a dog of my own, I’ve been an affectionate dog aunt of many roommates’ and friends’ dogs and would frequently watch their dogs while they were away! I am not currently working as I am about to start grad school, so I am very flexible and have lots of time when it comes to taking care of your pups! I will make sure to stick to their routine as closely as possible, and give them time to adjust. I always want to ensure that your pet is comfortable and that having a new human around is as least disruptive as possible!

About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was in high school and have been surrounded by furry friends all of my life. I am well acquainted with taking care of any aged animal, be it a puppy or an older animal. I am open to pet care for both dogs and cats, so if you need assistance with both I am more than happy to help! I currently work 10AM-6PM, so I am available to assist in the mornings and evenings. I am also available to come all day on the weekends. I have a cat to keep your animal extra company, and have a large 1 bedroom apartment so there is plenty of space for your pet to spread out. Also, I can make room for a crate if necessary.

I have a very open and flexible schedule. I can easily work around your pet’s routine, whether that means early mornings, evenings, or multiple check-ins throughout the day. Since I’m not juggling a busy schedule right now, I’m able to spend more quality time with your pet instead of rushing in and out. If your pet wants playtime, company, or just someone to sit nearby while they do their own thing, I’m there for it. I’m very mindful of creating a calm and safe environment, especially since pets can be sensitive to changes. I make sure doors and windows are secure, feeding areas are clean, and everything stays consistent with what your pet is used to. I pay attention to behavior and give pets space when they need it, but I’m also happy to sit with them, play, or just exist in the same space if that’s what they prefer. Sometimes the best way to bond with a pet is to not try too hard. I treat your home with respect and follow your instructions closely so everything stays exactly how you like it.
