“Avary is absolutely amazing! Extremely professional, communicative, and our Wrigley loves her! I appreciated her going the extra mile to be extremely thoughtful about the details (ex: treats, potty breaks). Avary saved the day for us when we unexpectedly had to head out of town! We can’t want to keep working with her!”

About: I’m originally from the East Coast, where I raised and trained my black lab Rosie. In addition to taking your dog for a walk to get their legs moving and enjoy the outdoors, I’m also happy to incorporate any training that you may be working on. I loved training Rosie (taking her through Canine Good Citizens) and in another life probably would have become a dog trainer! I am an active runner and also training for the NYC marathon this year, so if your doggo likes to run I’m happy to take them with me to get some miles in! While I don’t have a dog of my own, I’ve been an affectionate dog aunt of many roommates’ and friends’ dogs and would frequently watch their dogs while they were away! I am not currently working as I am about to start grad school, so I am very flexible and have lots of time when it comes to taking care of your pups! I will make sure to stick to their routine as closely as possible, and give them time to adjust. I always want to ensure that your pet is comfortable and that having a new human around is as least disruptive as possible!

About: Hello, my name is Pinar! I'm 28, working in the non-profit sector, and a proud dog mom to Joy, my 2-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is the light of my life. Growing up, I was lucky to have my best friend Misha, who’s in the profile picture with me. Losing her last year was heartbreaking, but it inspired me to share the same love and care I gave her for 12 years with other dogs. I’ve had the pleasure of pet-sitting for family and friends whenever they’re out of town, and I truly believe that care starts with safety, love, and lots of attention. I’m great at building a bond with animals and always strive to create a fun and nurturing environment. Being surrounded by furry friends is my happy place, and I’d love to care for your dog as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet family! Caring for pets is my joy! With a flexible schedule and my own dog, Joy, I prioritize safety, love, and fun every day :) ! I provide loving, personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and plenty of playtime!
“Julia does a great job walking my very spirited puppy. She’s always patient with him as he learns new things, and he’s always excited to see her. Julia is super attentive to his behavior and is quick to let me know if anything changes.”

“Joe is reliable and a great communicator, and Maxdog was happy to go walking with him, although they had only just met. Max came back from his walks in a great mood!”

About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was in high school and have been surrounded by furry friends all of my life. I am well acquainted with taking care of any aged animal, be it a puppy or an older animal. I am open to pet care for both dogs and cats, so if you need assistance with both I am more than happy to help! I currently work 10AM-6PM, so I am available to assist in the mornings and evenings. I am also available to come all day on the weekends. I have a cat to keep your animal extra company, and have a large 1 bedroom apartment so there is plenty of space for your pet to spread out. Also, I can make room for a crate if necessary.
“Diane has been walking my dog for several months now and I could not be happier. She is reliable and flexible, and gives me informative updates. I feel very comfortable knowing my dog is in great hands with her!”

About: Hello! I have extensive experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, thanks to growing up surrounded by animals. From dogs and cats to lizards and rats, I’ve cared for them all! Currently, I’m a proud owner of a cat and dog and am looking to offer pet-sitting services primarily on weekends, or weeknights after 5pm. During the week, I work full-time for a homeless shelter. Mondays and Fridays I work remotely and would be more than willing to work from your home to be with your pet. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry (or scaly!) friends with the same attention and affection I give my own. I currently work a full time job at a homeless shelter; Mondays and Fridays I work remotely. I am available to offer pet care services most weeknights, as well as most weekend days. I provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to each pet’s routine and personality. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, fresh water, exercise, playtime, administering medications if needed, and maintaining a clean environment. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervision while their owners are away. When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, comfortable environment where they can feel relaxed and at ease. About: Hi there! Here's a quick intro to my skillset: • 11+ years dog sitting, walking, & boarding • Personal & professional experience with caring for dogs of every age, including puppies and seniors • Ability to administer oral, topical, & injectable medications • Familiarity with crate, leash & potty training methods • Knowledge of basic grooming, including poodles/double-coats I hope to see your pup soon! As a student training for a fall passage along El Camino, I like to get outside and explore as much as possible! I'm an avid birder and particularly love trail hikes, though I make sure to leave the binos at home when there's furry company. As an early bird/night owl (and on summer vacation!) my schedule is flexible and can readily be adjusted to accommodate last-minute requests. I hope to meet you soon! I was born into a home with a beagle, 25 pounds of guile and cunning. Two decades past, hounds have trained me well. All doors will be closed, gates latched, bags kept out of reach. Raisins? Never heard of them.
“Hands down one of the best dog walkers we've found through Rover! So experienced, professional, conscientious, and kind. Always looking for ways to give your dog the absolute best experience! 10/10”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 6 years and have had two cats of my own, so I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I treat every pet like they’re my own not just making sure they’re fed, but making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I naturally pay attention to the little things changes in behavior, mood, or appetite because I know those details matter. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or more shy and independent, I adjust to their personality and let them warm up at their own pace. I’m very consistent with routines because I know that’s what helps pets feel secure. I’ll follow your instructions closely and keep things as normal as possible while you’re away. You’ll always get regular updates and photos, so you don’t have to wonder how your pet is doing. I want you to feel completely at ease knowing they’re in good hands. I have a very open and flexible schedule. I can easily work around your pet’s routine, whether that means early mornings, evenings, or multiple check-ins throughout the day. Since I’m not juggling a busy schedule right now, I’m able to spend more quality time with your pet instead of rushing in and out. If your pet wants playtime, company, or just someone to sit nearby while they do their own thing, I’m there for it. I’m very mindful of creating a calm and safe environment, especially since pets can be sensitive to changes. I make sure doors and windows are secure, feeding areas are clean, and everything stays consistent with what your pet is used to. I pay attention to behavior and give pets space when they need it, but I’m also happy to sit with them, play, or just exist in the same space if that’s what they prefer. Sometimes the best way to bond with a pet is to not try too hard. I treat your home with respect and follow your instructions closely so everything stays exactly how you like it.
“12/10 Exemplary person who has been overtly flexible towards my schedule!!!! I would recommend him wholeheartedly, he listens to all instructions asks for permission regarding your animal, and makes sure your animals are comfortable.”

Flatbush dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first time ever using a dog walker, and I was honestly pretty nervous about it, but Ella made the whole experience easy and reassuring! She sent tons of photos and updates during the walk, which immediately put me at ease. She communicates proactively, asks questions, and clearly pays attention to details. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone reliable and attentive with your pet!

Maaidah is amazing, she provides great updates throughout and goes above and beyond to really make you comfortable as having her as your caregiver. I can’t thank her enough as she is one of the best sitters I’ve been connected with since being on the rover platform. Highly recommended
