About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up, I cared for our family dogs as well as fosters (dogs and cats) and quickly became the reliable go-to person for friends and family needing pet care. More recently, I rescued my own pup from a local shelter. He had endured severe abuse during the first two years of his life, and helping him heal with patience and love has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. This journey inspired me to start volunteering at the shelter where I adopted him, and I’ve proudly been a volunteer there for the past two years. Not an expert trainer but I have a good understanding of animal behavior and experience working with dogs of all temperaments/ages/sizes and can meet them where they are. As a freelancer who works from home, I have the flexibility and time to provide your pup with the care, attention, and love they deserve. I live just a few blocks from Prospect Park and enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s a leisurely walk, run, or a fun play session. Of course, I’m just as happy curling up on the couch with a dog and a good book. Whether it’s boarding, doggy daycare, or dog walking, I’m available on both weekdays and weekends to fit your schedule. As a “dog dad” and a fellow Rover user, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your little one with someone new. Rest assured, I’ll love and care for them as if they were my own. About: Hi there! My name is Nate and I'm an experienced dog sitter and walker based in Prospect Heights. Brooklyn. I've been doing Rover for the last 5 years and have experience taking care of small, medium and large sized dogs. In addition, I have a 6 year old Jindo mix and 8 year old shiba of my own! They have helped me through many high and low times and I adore the different characteristics that each of them brings into our family. During your dog's stay, I'll be sure to take them out on walks, go to the dog park and hang with them at home. I currently live in an apartment building that's close to a dog park and walking distance to Grand Army Plaza so I'll be sure to take them out to the dog parks there. I work from home so have time to take your dog out throughout the day. I also take my dog out for walks 3x so can bring your pup along walks with her! I live in a studio and take my dog out to the park every day. She gets plenty of time out of the house and would do the same with your dog!

About: I've grown up with family dogs and pets. I currently have a golden doodle named Moose. I love to be active and I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds! I am an elementary teacher and finish my day around 4pm. I understand how stressful it is to leave your fur babies at home while you are stuck at work. I would love to alleviate some of your stresses by giving your pet love, exercise, and attention! It also helps me destress after a long day. I love to go on long walks, specifically in green spaces.
