About: I recently moved to Kennsington / Windsor Terrace and am looking for a dog to walk in the area to familiarize myself with the neighborhood, get exercise, and extra cash. I also do cat care and check-ins for travelers. I could potentially host the right animal in my apartment. More specifically, I am seeking short-term in-house pet care for October 22 - November 4th when my mother visits town. If this fits your description, please reach out! With my schedule I am available for mid day walks between noon and 4pm, perfect for when you’re in the office worried sick about your pets at home. About: I owned a dog as a kid and have been dog sitting on and off for ten years. I’ve cared for a range of dogs from small and medium sized dogs, yorkies to pit bulls, older dogs with disabilities to younger dogs that need medication. I freelance from home, so my schedule can be easily moved around for any dog needs. I’m a natural early riser so early morning walks and feeds are very easy for me. I have a pretty open living room and kitchen space, which is more than enough space for medium sized and small dogs to run and play around. In the past, I’ve had dogs sleep on their beds in the living room or my bedroom and if permitted/ comfortable just in my bed with me.

And by the end of the day(s) in the pack, your dog will have made new friends for life! My apartment is set up for my two wild and fun dogs with room to add to the pack. My living room is the dog’s room- it has been converted to be a haven for dogs with toys, dog beds, and space to play. All hazards have been removed and/or minimized in the dog play area (ie no choking hazards, cords out of chewing reach, etc). For overnight boarding, please note that I am only accepting dogs who have completed a successful trial day care day to make sure it’s a good fit before you head out of town. The dogs have an option of sleeping in the dog room or in bed with me. I have a king size bed so there’s space for everyone!
About: We are high school sweethearts living in Brooklyn with our attention hog of cat, Charlie, and leopard gecko Tulio. Amanda (she/her) has 5+ years of experience volunteering with dogs and cats (and exotic animals at a jungle sanctuary, but that's a story for another day!). She has fostered two litters of kittens and is TNR-certified and also has a soft spot for rodents and reptiles. She can give basic medical care, including oral medication and eye medication. Kellen (he/him) is a marathon runner with lots of energy who loves to spend time outside. He loves all animals and is a perfect match for dogs--including big breeds!--that want long walks around the borough and some snuggles after. Our pets might get jealous that we're spending time with yours, but they'll get over it. We can typically accommodate all days and times between the two of us! Kellen is available Mondays and Tuesdays, and Amanda is available Wednesday-Friday. We can split weekends up as needed. NOTE ON HOUSESITTING: The fee on our page accounts for up to 5 hours of stay at your home. Additional fees for longer stays are as follows: 6-8 hours: +$5 per hour 9-12 hours: +$10 per hour Overnight: +$25 We are able to watch dogs, cats, and any smaller pets in your home and can host those smaller pets in ours. Rodents, reptiles, etc, would have a room to themselves.

About: I grew up around dogs. Since I was born, my family has had Golden Retrievers who were my brothers. I have been working with and around dogs of any size all my life and have a huge love for them. I have cared for sick dogs, healthy dogs, energetic dogs, high maintenance pups. I love all breeds and personalities! I am a Brooklynite but I have no issue coming into Manhattan or Queens to spend some some time with your pup! I am a performing artist so my schedule is generally wide open. I can schedule whenever or wherever I am needed! Early mornings are not a problem for me nor are evenings. Long walks are not a problem for me, I live near Prospect Park and love walking in the parks in New York. I have no problem house sitting.

In my home, I make sure pets have a comfortable, pet-friendly space where they can relax and get plenty of attention and enrichment. I have lots of toys and love taking dogs outside for walks or trips to the park when appropriate. I’m also attentive to each pet’s individual personality and boundaries—whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a quieter environment with lots of cuddles. After years of caring for my own dog, Reese, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I do have a job so I can’t walk them as much as I’d like but I do walk them when I can. I always enjoy walking and playing with animals. We’d do a ton of fun activities like playing fetch, some light jogging, some training if needed and rewarding them with treats for good behavior! I’m cautious and observant of animals I’m getting to know. Getting a feel for their personality, behaviors and routines. When it comes to new animals I like to take my time and create an environment that promotes safety and trust. I want your pet to trust me as much as I’ll learn to trust it. About: Animals have always been a part of my life as I've been a sitter for friends, neighbors, and fosters in need. I treat every dog like my own baby. And I mean every dog so bring me your aggressive reactors, your high energy herders, your insecure pups and I will give them a happy vacation home. I got my PhD studying animal behavior, learning, and memory and built my training philosophy based on what I learned. I specialize in behavioral training for puppies and adult dogs to make sure every family can enjoy their four-legged friends without stress. I believe in customizing training and care to each dog and always prioritize the dogs comfort and safety. I work from home so I can board during the week or on weekends. Individual training sessions are available evenings and weekends only. I will occasionally go out in the evenings for a few hours at a time. I don't have a yard but live across the street from prospect Park where your pup will have lots of time to sniff and run around on leash. I don't believe in using dog parks except for training from outside the fence. I have space in my home for a dog bed and/or crate but am happy to allow dogs on my furniture if it's allowed in your home
“Syndi had a great 3 days with Tiffany. Easy meet and greet. I always have trouble with the drop off saying goodbye to my pup but Tiffany makes you feel like you are leaving her in great hands. Syndi looked comfortable and happy in pictures. Would definitely use Tiffany again and I recommend her highly.”
