About: I recently moved to Kennsington / Windsor Terrace and am looking for a dog to walk in the area to familiarize myself with the neighborhood, get exercise, and extra cash. I also do cat care and check-ins for travelers. I could potentially host the right animal in my apartment. More specifically, I am seeking short-term in-house pet care for October 22 - November 4th when my mother visits town. If this fits your description, please reach out! With my schedule I am available for mid day walks between noon and 4pm, perfect for when you’re in the office worried sick about your pets at home. I use my best judgment and respect the privacy of your personal information and honor your pets, belongings and space. I am always a phone call and a text away to address concerns or changes.

About: I've loved dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! I grew up with a boxer (Teddy), and my parents now have Louie (featured in my profile pic!). I've dog-sat and dog watched for family (Louie), friends (Jade and Pepper - featured!), and neighbors (Gary - also featured!). I've done drop-in walks, day care at my own apartment, and overnight care as well. I miss dogs and pets in general, but while I'm too busy for one full time myself, I am not too busy for part-time care. I recognize that our furry friends are family, and should be treated with the utmost respect and love! I always come bearing treats and scratches. I work from home with a fairly flexible schedule. If given enough notice, I can walk or hangout with a pet during the work day (9-5). I'm more than willing to have house-trained pets in my home for the day, which would make it easier for me to take them out for periodic walks throughout my workday. I can also go to someone's house during my lunch break for to let a dog out or hangout for a bit, or even spend some of my workday at one's house if there's wifi. I do not have any pets of my own, and I would not watch multiple pets at once to ensure your pet is getting all of my attention! I am big on treats and positive reinforcement of good behavior. I play with dogs and cats, and take dogs on walks. My work schedule is fairly flexible to be able to take a dog out for a potty break just about any time of day. My old dog was very anxious so I have experience caring for easily stressed dogs. About: Animals have always been a part of my life as I've been a sitter for friends, neighbors, and fosters in need. I treat every dog like my own baby. And I mean every dog so bring me your aggressive reactors, your high energy herders, your insecure pups and I will give them a happy vacation home. I got my PhD studying animal behavior, learning, and memory and built my training philosophy based on what I learned. I specialize in behavioral training for puppies and adult dogs to make sure every family can enjoy their four-legged friends without stress. I believe in customizing training and care to each dog and always prioritize the dogs comfort and safety. I work from home so I can board during the week or on weekends. Individual training sessions are available evenings and weekends only. I will occasionally go out in the evenings for a few hours at a time. I don't have a yard but live across the street from prospect Park where your pup will have lots of time to sniff and run around on leash. I don't believe in using dog parks except for training from outside the fence. I have space in my home for a dog bed and/or crate but am happy to allow dogs on my furniture if it's allowed in your home
