Usually I have the same sitters so I was a little bit nervous (mostly after some back-and-forth with other potential sitters, it's a bit of a wild ride on Rover last minute HUH?!), we met and my pup got to meet Patrice's pups and get comfortable in their space. It was so appreciated to take the time to do that. NOT ONLY that but she worked around my pup's feeding and walking schedule, AND even offered to make homemade food when we ran out (my fault, last-minute!!). About: I love dogs and often care for my sister’s labradoodle. I’d love to have one of my own, but since I occasionally travel for work, dog sitting is the perfect way for me to enjoy a pup’s company. I work from home right across the street from Prospect Park and take long walks there every day—I’d be thrilled to have your dog join me. I work full time from home and always make time for a walk in the park mid day. I can also do short morning and evening walks as needed by your pup. I’m flexible when it comes to boarding. Reach out, chances are I can make your dates work. I live in a pet friendly apartment building with an elevator. Your small or midsize pup will be very comfortable spending time with me while I work. Unfortunately I’m unable to accommodate full size dogs or dogs that shed.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 9 and although I don’t currently have a dog my roommate does so I have gotten continuous experience caring for him. My old dog was very anxious so I have experience caring for easily stressed dogs. I am currently working full time in person so will unfortunately only be available for continuous sitting on the weekends as I wouldn’t want to leave the dog alone for the whole day while I’m at work. I will follow whatever instructions you have for me exactly. Beyond that, I love playing with and interacting with dogs so I will be sure to keep them entertained for the duration of the stay!

About: Growing up, I was surrounded by pets of all shapes, sizes, and varieties: cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, fish, turtles, salamanders, electric blue lobsters, chicks, ducklings, and poults. My family rescued animals from the shelter and the street, and cared for them for months or years until we found them a loving permanent home. My early exposure to various animals and my interest in science lead me to volunteer at a veterinary clinic during the summers throughout my middle school years. While working remotely for the last four years, I've spent substantial time pet/house sitting for friends and family and completed over 50 five-star sits for members of the TrustedHousesitters (THS) community. My flexible remote part-time job allows me to spend lots of quality time with your pet(s) and quickly attend to any needs that arise throughout the day. I love caring for pets in their own home because it is often the place that they are most at ease. In advance of the sit I will ask a variety of questions about your fur baby's usual habits, walk schedule, play routines, and more so that they are as comfortable as possible in your absence.
