Most tellingly, when Meg dropped him off, Bruno was more interested in sniffing her and her car rather than saying hi to us, which to us epitomizes how great of a time he had in Meg’s care. She was very accommodating, generally as well as with drop off / pick-up, understanding of Bruno’s odd tendencies, and happy to indulge his absolute obsession with fetch. Sunny not only handled the meds like a pro, but Lily loved her so so much! In every photo, Lily is cuddling or playing with Sunny, and you can tell she's just so happy! This was our longest trip leaving lily with a drop in sitter, and we were very nervous to leave, but after the first day, that went away. Cannot recommend Sunny enough for your kitties!”

About: I love cats. I love cats so much. I've had my baby since he was a baby and he's literally the love of my life—I genuinely can't live without him. I follow him everywhere and my favorite thing is snuggling together as we fall asleep. We spend all our time cuddling, watching TV, and just being together. I can't function without him fr so he's always by my side lol. I'Il bring that same energy and care to your baby too. I'm also a licensed waxer trying to make extra money cause the job market is so bad—I haven't been able to get a job in my field so I'm trying to open my business earlier than expected. So if you can help with that, it would be purrfect! :D

“If you are not booking Shay to sit your dog, you are doing yourselves a disservice. This is the second time we have used Shay's services within the past year; and like the first time, she did not disappoint. Prompt, informative, courteous and most importantly loving to our 2 shihtzus. They in turn respond well to her. Max is temperamental and prone to the occasional nip. But max loves Shay, permitting her to rub his belly (a great sign of trust) Fluffy is always in need of human contact and he got that by sitting next to or on Shay 😆 Shay kept us informed about her arrivals, walks, and feedings. Sending pictures and videos. My girlfriend wanted no one else to take care of our pups while we were away. About: The amount of times i’ve offered to take care of my family’s pets just to spend time with them.. i absolutely adore taking time out of my day to get a boost of dopamine by spending time with our fur babies! About: When I was a child my family owned and cared for dogs, horses, bunnies, and chickens which meant I became an animal caretaker at a very young age. This commitment reflects my deep passion for caring for dogs and their well being. I work full time from home, so Dog Mom is my 24/7 job title. I am conveniently located near a park so go on at least two walks a day, weather permitting. DAYCARE CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: 1. Daycare refers to drop off between 8-9am and 5-6pm, a 8-hour period. 2. Pick-up and drop-off times for Daycare must be scheduled in advance through direct message. 2. Late arrivals of more than 30 minutes will be charged an additional $5 per 30 minutes that you are late. Late arrivals risk interfering with other appointments, so this fee helps to accommodate that change. 3. Drop offs before 8am are subject to an Early Drop-off Fee of $10 per hour. 4. Pick up after 6pm are subject to a Late Pick-up Fee of $10 per hour. 5. Pick up after 9pm is considered boarding which is subject to double my Daycare rate. HOUSE-SITTING CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: During house sits, I typically continue my normal schedule with other pet care clients (walks, drop-ins, etc.), so I may be out of the home for portions of the day. If your pet requires near-constant or 24/7 care, please let me know in advance. I may be able to accommodate, but this would require adjustments for my own dog and existing clients and may involve an additional fee. I care for pets in my home since I also have my furbaby to attend to. This means there’s always healthy treats, pee pads, dog wipes, and pet first aid products on hand. I understand that being away from your furbaby can be nerve-wracking, but you can rest assured that I will provide clear communication and photo updates when your pet is in my care. I do not have an attached yard, but the park is a hop, skip, and a jump away, so it’s easy to take potty breaks whenever necessary. PLEASE NOTE: 1. Please arrive with your pet on a leash. I am a strong advocate for pet safety and leash laws. 2. Due to Covid-19 precautions, I do not allow guests into my home, but would be happy to meet you downstairs at drop-off and pick-up times. 3. I will ALWAYS send photos throughout the appointment, even if not directly requested. INCLEMENT WEATHER DISCLAIMER: I take all weather advisories seriously. When the heat index is above 90°F degrees or windchill is below 20°F walks will be cut short for your pet's safety and for my own. Walks will consist of “doing their business” then returning indoors. Regular service is maintained in the rain, but will be postponed due to thunder, lightning, or blizzards. Walks may be early or delayed depending on the forecast. About: I’ve always had dogs as a meaningful part of my life even though my current lease doesn’t allow me to have one of my own. For the last six years, I helped take care of a previous partner's dog, including watching him alone for weeks or even a month at a time. He was adopted and mildly reactive, so I learned to be attentive to body language, manage space around triggers, keep walks calm and positive, and make sure they felt safe while still getting plenty of stimulation. I’ve also cared for my sister’s dogs, including a rambunctious, high-energy German shepherd puppy and a mature Australian shepherd, so I’m comfortable with smart, active dogs who need more than a quick walk around the block. I especially love connecting with intelligent dogs who thrive on enrichment, structure, and engagement, whether that means sniffy walks, varied routes, leash games, practicing cues, or just giving them the time and attention they need to feel fulfilled. I recently moved to Brooklyn, and spending time with dogs feels like the best possible way to explore the neighborhood. I enjoy letting dogs sniff, investigate, and set a natural rhythm instead of rushing them through a walk. I work from home three days a week, which also gives me a lot of flexibility for housesitting and daytime care. About: I have formally worked at a dog boarding kennel for 3 years where I handle up to 30 dogs in a yard at a time, making sure they all get along and receive ample amounts of love! Through my job I have gained lots of experience with reading dog behavior/body language as well as making sure all their mental and physical needs are met. I have experience working with dogs of all ages and sizes and feel comfortable taking care of almost any dog I meet. I held responsibilities in caring for my 2 family dogs growing up. Since then I've also looked after neighbors and friends dogs numerous times, taking care of things like potty breaks, baths, meal times, and daily medications. Im currently an interning at Maggy London 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) from 9-6pm. However, I am available any other time of the day or week. Unfortunately I am living in student housing that does not allow pets in the building. However there are plenty of nearby parks within 5-10 minutes walking distance from my apartment.

She took in our dog at very short notice. She not only took very good care of our dog but also taught her new things like walking closer to the person during walks. Our dog had an issue finishing her food we tried everything but with Jane she was able to do it and she sent us updates multiple times through the day. She attended to the dog 24/7 and just had an amazing attitude about it. My family was out on vacation and had to connect through Canada and their flight got canceled and I my self had my flight home delayed. Once I told Jane she immediately without hesitation she helped out and kept our dog for an extra night.
