I usually do walks in the mornings and early afternoons, but when dog sitting I make sure to get one more walk in the evening. I currently live in an apartment within walking distance of three city parks. I typically give two walks a day while dog sitting to these parks, but that usually depends on the age of the dog and whether more walks are needed. I grew up with a Great Pyrenees, which are very stubborn about their routines, so I follow client instructions as closely as possible to decrease separation anxiety for the dog. My apartment has two floors, so there is plenty of space for your pet stay.
About: I’ve spent the past 8 years caring for my dog, Dulce, so taking care of a pet has been a big part of my everyday life. I have experience with daily walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure she’s safe and comfortable. I also live with my girlfriend and her cat, so I’m used to being around and caring for both dogs and cats. Living with them has taught me how different every pet can be and how important patience, attention, and routine are. I’ll treat your pet with the same care and attention I give the pets in my own home. I’m currently available throughout the week, which gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m available Monday through Friday for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, as well as drop-in visits. I can also be flexible with scheduling depending on you and your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’ll follow any instructions you provide regarding walks, feeding, routines, and behavior. I’ll keep your dog securely leashed during walks, stay aware of our surroundings, and give them plenty of attention and care. I’ll also keep you updated so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands.
