“This was my first time using Rover and having someone other than a friend or family watch my 13 year old cat; Arli absolutely took care of my girl just like she was a close friend or family. My cat was in her trust for almost 2 weeks and everyday I got several photos and she was always very quick to respond about anything. I travel for work for long periods at a time and truly felt more at ease with my cat in Arli’s care. I can tell from the photos that she’s a true cat person! Mochi has diabetes and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours in addition to another medication twice a week and Eleni was happy to learn and able to give Mochi his meds which can be a bit daunting and sometimes difficult depending on his mood. but Eleni was attentive and really took the time to learn and care for him properly! my other cat Kumo is a scaredy baby and rarely shows his face around people but Eleni was patient and really put effort into getting him comfortable with her. Eleni updated me with great details about how they’re doing and food. the weather was changing every day from being very cold and then very hot and Eleni proactively adjusted the thermostat accordingly when needed! she would turn on cat TV every couple days AND put treats in their treat games daily so they would stay occupied during the day. Mochi had an accident and Eleni didn't hesitate to clean it up and take out the trash. she really took care of everything!”
About: We are avid animal lovers and I have owned pets my entire life. They have always been a part of our family. I've taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits and birds. I used to be a cat volunteer at the ACC. We can take several walks a day, play with toys and cuddle. I can administer oral medication if needed. I love taking care of animals and feel that they teach us the most about love. Please let me know what makes your pet comfortable so that I can create an environment and routine where they will feel the most happy during their stay with us. I'm usually available during the weekends after 2 pm and in the evenings after 6pm. My drop in visits will usually range from 3pm to 9pm. “My 15 year old diabetic cat recently entered DKA and underwent very intense and very costly treatment that required serious recovery and supervision. I took off a few weeks of work but due to the added costs I needed to return back to work in order to continue caring for her and treatments. I was of course naturally worried leaving her after having survived such a serious illness and Katie stepped in a really helped put all that anxiety and worry at ease for me. About: Hi! My name is Sara and I love dogs. My two rescues and I live in a four family house in Glendale with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to play. Sadie and Philly love to have pals over and love making new friends. Dog handling is in my blood. My grandmother was a breeder and trainer for Guide Dogs of America. Because of her, I have experience with pregnant mothers and newborns. My knack for leash and obedience training came from her as well. I used to manage a dog daycare in Brooklyn and run my own dog walking business back in the day. Now I work from home and have all the time in the world to hang out with dogs! Growing up, my parents had a malamute, a Dalmatian, a lab/setter mix, and a lab/pittie mix. I raised these dogs with my father and learned to care for animals starting from a very young age. My father was a professional dog trainer in Southern California and worked specifically with rescues from kill shelters and aggressive dogs. He taught me everything he knew about training them. Though my first encounters with dogs had been bigger breeds, I found a warm spot in my heart for small breeds I met when I moved to the city. I love all dogs. Our house is perfect for your pet because it is on a quiet street in a quiet neighborhood with its own private backyard. There aren't too many rules here. There are five steps leading up to the house and five steps to the backyard. If your dog is older or has joint issues, this may be worth a consideration. I am experienced and capable to help dogs up and down stairs, but it may not be the best fit if it would stress your pup out. In a perfect world, we could make the arrangements for our dogs to meet at a dog park nearby before the boarding dates, but I realize that everyone has busy schedules and that may not always be possible. At the very least, I would like to meet you and your dog beforehand. I offer a pickup and drop-off service for an additional fee and introduce my dogs to new dogs on neutral territory with a long walk. I have been doing this professionally since 2015. The amenities in my space, my extensive experience, and the wonderful time your pup will have with us are what make staying with us extra special. It truly is your pup's second home. Hope you choose to board with us! I have pets so it is built into my routine and since I work from home, we can keep a regular schedule. I feed them twice a day and walk them twice a day and let them out for breaks in the yard throughout the day. I have a fenced yard with dog friendly plants that dogs can hang out in. Sadie and Phil are always able to make a pup feel comfortable away from home.

To explain, I had to go into my office LAST minute and at 1230 am it was my first time using this app and I posted requests for someone to basically dog sit for the same day- she was immediately responsive even though it was a last minute request. I saw she had already gotten consistent great reviews and I was worried to leave my 7 week old shih tsu (like a baby) with anyone ) -Jameeka she handles all dog ages - she was responsive, kept me updated throughout the day. I even got stuck in traffic on the way for pick up and was late she was fine. The top 3 reasons I give Jameeka 5 stars is because 1) she is the opposite of stressful and worked with my unique needs, 2) she has great communication skills snd 3) it is clear she is an expert - my puppy was returned perfectly she gave me some updates and my puppy was happy and fell right asleep because Jameeka ensured my puppy got play time and exercise time - thank you !”

I work from home, taking frequent walks and breaking to play and snuggle. I work remote taking frequent walks with Toby (My 17lb terrier) throughout the day. Our backyard offers a sunny, warm patio perfect for lounging, as well as ample space for Toby and any visiting pets to enjoy a game of fetch. Our home is designed with our furry companions in mind. Toby and guests have full access, especially cozy spots on the couch and bed. The thoughtful layout, with distinct rooms, facilitates separate feeding times and private retreats when needed. A large assortment of toys encourages play, and fresh water and treats are always within reach. Toby especially enjoys sunny afternoons on the patio and invigorating games of fetch in our secure, fully fenced yard, with plenty of room for lounging and play. Toby is a sweet, excellently socialized and confident pup. He is used to canine and human guests, and shares his space, toys and food willingly. If your baby loves to play, Toby will keep them occupied for hours.
About: I was raised with cats, large dogs, small dogs and have my own dog whom I've been with for ten years. My other dog I had at the same time passed last year so I have experience with looking after multiple dogs. I work from home and take care of my dog around the clock. One of my rescue dogs had severe separation anxiety so he was never left alone in the apartment by himself so I'm acutely aware of that type of thing. My dog Kirk is super chill and I've never ever had to deal with her getting into fights or even being remotely hostile. Kirk is not food or toy aggressive and I would require that your pet isn't either to ensure safety for everyone in the household. I take Kirk on two to three long walks every day unless there's torrential downpours and play with her when I can throughout the day. If it is raining I have roof access and a grass patch for my dogs to relieve themselves. The roof is 100% enclosed by a four foot high wall and very safe. I also take them on a quick bathroom break late at night to ensure they can make it till morning. If your dog is well balanced I would take them to the dog run at Herbert Von King Park if that's something you're interested in. My place gets great sunlight all day long so there's plenty of opportunities for your fur pal to lounge in the sun and get sleep in wherever they like.
