“It was our first time leaving our 7 month puppy with a sitter, and so we had a lot of questions and Dayana was super patient throughout - including accommodating multiple reschedules (sorry). We received regular updates and pictures of our little guy while he was with Dayana, including pics of him hanging out & playing with a very serene bigger dog (which was great). He did not seem overly stressed or agitated when I brought him back home (as in, he acted like he typically does when we break his routine, nothing more) and went straight to sleep at bedtime (he usually takes about 20 minutes to settle), meaning his stay with Dayana must have been mentally / physically stimulating. Altogether a great experience for us first timers. Thanks for everything Dayana & we’ll see you again soon!”

About: I was raised with cats, large dogs, small dogs and have my own dog whom I've been with for ten years. My other dog I had at the same time passed last year so I have experience with looking after multiple dogs. I work from home and take care of my dog around the clock. One of my rescue dogs had severe separation anxiety so he was never left alone in the apartment by himself so I'm acutely aware of that type of thing. My dog Kirk is super chill and I've never ever had to deal with her getting into fights or even being remotely hostile. Kirk is not food or toy aggressive and I would require that your pet isn't either to ensure safety for everyone in the household. I take Kirk on two to three long walks every day unless there's torrential downpours and play with her when I can throughout the day. If it is raining I have roof access and a grass patch for my dogs to relieve themselves. The roof is 100% enclosed by a four foot high wall and very safe. I also take them on a quick bathroom break late at night to ensure they can make it till morning. If your dog is well balanced I would take them to the dog run at Herbert Von King Park if that's something you're interested in. My place gets great sunlight all day long so there's plenty of opportunities for your fur pal to lounge in the sun and get sleep in wherever they like.

“What a lovely person - I’d give her 100 stars if that were an option. To explain, I had to go into my office LAST minute and at 1230 am it was my first time using this app and I posted requests for someone to basically dog sit for the same day- she was immediately responsive even though it was a last minute request. I saw she had already gotten consistent great reviews and I was worried to leave my 7 week old shih tsu (like a baby) with anyone ) -Jameeka she handles all dog ages - she was responsive, kept me updated throughout the day. I even got stuck in traffic on the way for pick up and was late she was fine. The top 3 reasons I give Jameeka 5 stars is because 1) she is the opposite of stressful and worked with my unique needs, 2) she has great communication skills snd 3) it is clear she is an expert - my puppy was returned perfectly she gave me some updates and my puppy was happy and fell right asleep because Jameeka ensured my puppy got play time and exercise time - thank you !”

Rescued an 11-year-old golden retriever in 2017. Have dog sat / cat sat / dog walked for family and friends for years, most recently a Rhodesian ridgeback and golden/lab mix in the West Village, and a husky/cattle dog and a chihuahua/Jack russell mix - both in Bushwick. I get it - I’ve used this service. You want to know that the person is doing their part when and how they say, and that your dog/cat is in good hands. I’m also ok w messy jobs. I’ve cleaned up after my sisters bulldog/terrier mix Bonnie when she’s pooped all over the house Bc her stomach was upset :/ From Las Vegas/California, college educated (BA in journalism / polysci). I’m an actor, writer & remote worker. I currently work part-time, fully from home, and my schedule is flexible. With a bit of notice I should be able to accommodate most requests. Thank you for enquiring! I can do both in terms of pets in my home / clients home. As long as your animal is OK w a cat, they can stay at mine, but happy to dog/cat sit from your place as well.
