“FIVE STARS!! I had some somewhat last-minute travel changes come up and Patrice was available and super-communicative. Usually I have the same sitters so I was a little bit nervous (mostly after some back-and-forth with other potential sitters, it's a bit of a wild ride on Rover last minute HUH?!), we met and my pup got to meet Patrice's pups and get comfortable in their space. It was so appreciated to take the time to do that. NOT ONLY that but she worked around my pup's feeding and walking schedule, AND even offered to make homemade food when we ran out (my fault, last-minute!!). About: I've grown up with family dogs and pets. I currently have a golden doodle named Moose. I love to be active and I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds! I am an elementary teacher and finish my day around 4pm. I understand how stressful it is to leave your fur babies at home while you are stuck at work. I would love to alleviate some of your stresses by giving your pet love, exercise, and attention! It also helps me destress after a long day. I love to go on long walks, specifically in green spaces. About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up, I cared for our family dogs as well as fosters (dogs and cats) and quickly became the reliable go-to person for friends and family needing pet care. More recently, I rescued my own pup from a local shelter. He had endured severe abuse during the first two years of his life, and helping him heal with patience and love has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. This journey inspired me to start volunteering at the shelter where I adopted him, and I’ve proudly been a volunteer there for the past two years. Not an expert trainer but I have a good understanding of animal behavior and experience working with dogs of all temperaments/ages/sizes and can meet them where they are. As a freelancer who works from home, I have the flexibility and time to provide your pup with the care, attention, and love they deserve. I live just a few blocks from Prospect Park and enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s a leisurely walk, run, or a fun play session. Of course, I’m just as happy curling up on the couch with a dog and a good book. Whether it’s boarding, doggy daycare, or dog walking, I’m available on both weekdays and weekends to fit your schedule. As a “dog dad” and a fellow Rover user, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your little one with someone new. Rest assured, I’ll love and care for them as if they were my own.
