About: I am an unapologetic single cat lady and lover of animals. I've been caring for cats my entire adult life - my own and others - and I can't imagine a life without them. I raised my first cat from kittenhood to her end at nineteen years old, and in that time I learned how special the human/animal relationship is. I know how much you love your pets because I feel the same way. I'm a freelancer, so my time is my own. I can easily come to your home twice a day for feeding or just companionship! I am also able to house-sit without too much advance notice, so if you're in a crunch I'm your girl. Of course I provide the essentials of existence - food, water, a clean box - but we know that cats need more than just the minimum. I will cheerfully offer whatever sort of affection and companionship your beast likes best, and I will make sure they are as happy as possible in your absence.

About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and working dogs (livestock herders) for over 10 years. I have experience working with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments and administering medication to dogs and small livestock. I work full time as an urban garden educator for children and teens. In this position I have had the opportunity and work with reptiles, amphibians, birds, and small mammals. I am available for pet care on the weekends and most evenings (after 5pm) during the week. I will follow client’s instructions for entering and leaving their space both for their peace of mind but also to provide a consistent, familiar environment for their pets.

About: I've had dogs all of my life and have a sweet dachshund, Worm, at home now. My home is prepared for smaller and medium sized dogs and nothing intimidates me when it comes to the care of a pet. Though not a formal trainer, I enjoy teaching dogs when I can and have small agility items in our home that we've trained our dog on. I work from home most days and have a flexible schedule so pups get plenty of time for walks, play, rest and cuddles. If your dog enjoys the parks, we typically head to Bush Terminal Park or Prospect Park for longer walks. My friendly dog, Worm, is ready to keep another pup company. I can crate as needed or desired. When out for walks, I'll walk one dog at a time for safety of both pets and others on the street until everyone is comfortable.

About: I love all animals and have extensive experience caring for many species and breeds. Most recently I had a cat, dog, and guinea pig all living in peace and harmony under my care. I have also had to give medication to all of the above so I am also capable of maintaining medical care if needed. I also house trained all of my dogs and can keep up with training! I am currently unemployed so I can give my full attention to your pets! I can fit dog sitting/ daycare/ or walks at anytime and any day! I have experience with reactive pets. Currently I have a very nice lab in my apartment who has lived with multiple cats. I am home most of the time so I have plenty of time for supervision

“My dog is scared of loud noises on the street and froze when Edie got him outside. She calmed him down, took him all the way back up to my apartment (a 5th floor walk-up), and then took him out a second time. She got him to walk in the end! It took her almost an hour for a 30-minute booking. Very happy she was willing to work so hard to get him out!”
