I’m comfortable following detailed instructions and keeping owners updated, because I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe and happy while you’re away. I also have experience caring for dogs of different ages and personalities, including energetic dogs who need plenty of exercise and attention as well as older dogs who may need a slower pace and extra patience. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with animals and want every pet I care for to feel comfortable, loved, and at home with me. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I have a flexible schedule and am able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether that means morning or evening walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company, I make sure their care and routine are a priority. I care for every pet as if they were my own and always make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment. I take the time to learn about each pet’s individual needs, including their feeding schedule, exercise routine, personality, and any specific instructions from their owner. I’m attentive to changes in behavior and always make sure pets are supervised and secure during walks, playtime, and outings. When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and understand how important it is for owners to feel that both their pet and home are in good hands. I love keeping pets company, giving them plenty of attention and affection, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 9 and although I don’t currently have a dog my roommate does so I have gotten continuous experience caring for him. My old dog was very anxious so I have experience caring for easily stressed dogs. I am currently working full time in person so will unfortunately only be available for continuous sitting on the weekends as I wouldn’t want to leave the dog alone for the whole day while I’m at work. I will follow whatever instructions you have for me exactly. Beyond that, I love playing with and interacting with dogs so I will be sure to keep them entertained for the duration of the stay!

About: I am new to rover but I have tons of experience walking dogs and housesitting! I love spending time with dogs and getting to know their unique personalities. I enjoy spending my weekends outside, and having a dog to join me on a walk is always a lovely bonus. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll follow their usual routine, respect their boundaries, and adapt my care to their personality and breed. I have doggy stairs for dachshunds to help protect their backs, and I’m happy to accommodate any special needs. I’ll treat your pup like my own and send plenty of photos and updates so you always know they’re happy and in good hands.
