“Cagri is reliable, communicative, and gentle. Cagri is quick to respond, was willing to talk to Rover to troubleshoot scheduling, and even offered to take Tofu on a free short walk during the meet & greet. Everyday he arrives on time, takes Tofu on long walks, and texts me if any concerns arises. Cagri is great!”

“He is always early or on time and he has great communication! I will definitely continue to use him. Snoh is usually scared of strangers but he warmed up to Luis so fast and I love the pictures. I don’t have any complaints!”

About: I am an unapologetic single cat lady and lover of animals. I've been caring for cats my entire adult life - my own and others - and I can't imagine a life without them. I raised my first cat from kittenhood to her end at nineteen years old, and in that time I learned how special the human/animal relationship is. I know how much you love your pets because I feel the same way. I'm a freelancer, so my time is my own. I can easily come to your home twice a day for feeding or just companionship! I am also able to house-sit without too much advance notice, so if you're in a crunch I'm your girl. Of course I provide the essentials of existence - food, water, a clean box - but we know that cats need more than just the minimum. I will cheerfully offer whatever sort of affection and companionship your beast likes best, and I will make sure they are as happy as possible in your absence.
“Elliot is so great with Hughie! He goes over and beyond to make sure Hughie has a great time on his walk and even extends the requested time to not rush the walk. With short notice, Elliot is still extremely reliable and accommodating. We will definitely continue to use him weekly!”

“I could not have asked for a better dog walker for my pups. Alma is not only so good with dogs and very knowledgeable, but also incredibly kind with a wonderful energy that makes you feel so absolutely safe leaving your doggies with her. And they feel it too! I have one very old dog and one incredibly energetic young border collie and Alma is a pro in meeting both of their exercise/ walking/ energy needs all at once. Im so happy I found her and highly recommend her services to anyone looking to work with their fur babies.”

“Denise was such an amazing dog walker for my dog Rue. Rue was so excited every time she came over. Denise always left me detailed reports of her time with Rue and would always notify me if something came up. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Lindsay is a fantastic dog walker. I don't trust just anyone with my 5yr old Wheaten, but Lindsay was wonderful. She is reliable, trustworthy & communicative. She made sure to ask abt my pooch's temperament & triggers. She gave me a detailed update each day she walked my pup, complete with pictures! She went above & beyond, & I'm so glad I now have a perfect fit walker in my neighborhood.”

“Daria is extremely attentive and responsive. She was able to help us on very short notice. Denver loves his walks. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, friendly walker”

About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and working dogs (livestock herders) for over 10 years. I have experience working with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments and administering medication to dogs and small livestock. I work full time as an urban garden educator for children and teens. In this position I have had the opportunity and work with reptiles, amphibians, birds, and small mammals. I am available for pet care on the weekends and most evenings (after 5pm) during the week. I will follow client’s instructions for entering and leaving their space both for their peace of mind but also to provide a consistent, familiar environment for their pets.
“Christopher was wonderful. Disco our big lab immediately gravitated toward him. He asked kind and thoughtful questions. Was great with communication, would definitely recommend!”

About: I've had dogs all of my life and have a sweet dachshund, Worm, at home now. My home is prepared for smaller and medium sized dogs and nothing intimidates me when it comes to the care of a pet. Though not a formal trainer, I enjoy teaching dogs when I can and have small agility items in our home that we've trained our dog on. I work from home most days and have a flexible schedule so pups get plenty of time for walks, play, rest and cuddles. If your dog enjoys the parks, we typically head to Bush Terminal Park or Prospect Park for longer walks. My friendly dog, Worm, is ready to keep another pup company. I can crate as needed or desired. When out for walks, I'll walk one dog at a time for safety of both pets and others on the street until everyone is comfortable.
About: I love all animals and have extensive experience caring for many species and breeds. Most recently I had a cat, dog, and guinea pig all living in peace and harmony under my care. I have also had to give medication to all of the above so I am also capable of maintaining medical care if needed. I also house trained all of my dogs and can keep up with training! I am currently unemployed so I can give my full attention to your pets! I can fit dog sitting/ daycare/ or walks at anytime and any day! I have experience with reactive pets. Currently I have a very nice lab in my apartment who has lived with multiple cats. I am home most of the time so I have plenty of time for supervision
“My dog is scared of loud noises on the street and froze when Edie got him outside. She calmed him down, took him all the way back up to my apartment (a 5th floor walk-up), and then took him out a second time. She got him to walk in the end! It took her almost an hour for a 30-minute booking. Very happy she was willing to work so hard to get him out!”
“Luis has been taking Max out for an hour four mornings a week while my mother recovers from an injury. Usually he goes to Prospect Park, which is Max’s favorite place. His reliability and communication have been excellent and most appreciated.”

Red Hook dog parents share their Rover experiences
Rachael is the absolute best! The creatures fell in love with her immediately, and had such a good time with her. Trust me, anyone who can walk a lively standard poodle in wildly busy downtown NYC is gold. We've been with Rover for many years and have always had great experiences, but Rachael is definitely the winner.

Yuanqing took great care of our dog while we were out for a week. Our dog can be anxious and had trouble with being overstimulated when we boarded him. Yuanqing’s updates and pictures while we were out of town brought us peace of mind that our pup was feeling good and eating well.

In the 10 years I’ve had my dog I haven’t left him with anyone other than my partner. Pamela coming in for daily walks, feeding, and meds everyday gave me such peace of mind. She was absolutely fantastic, communicative, and always made me aware that my boy was doing ok.

Lucy is our dog Euro’s favorite person!! Lucy is super responsive, always on time, has the best availability and flexibility in taking on walks, and is the perfect caregiver for our energetic dog (including having a blast at the dog park together). Thanks Lucy!

Alex is a true dog lover! She is so great with my dog Piper, who can be very reactive with other dogs and requires a lot of attention while getting walked. I can also rely on Alex for basically anything I need for my senior dog, including medication administration. Strong recommend!
