I have a dog named Aspen that I love with my whole heart and I promise to treat your furry friend like they were my own! I am Lexi! I am perfectly located for an active dog! I live just a 10-minute walk from Prospect Park, which is perfect for long, scenic afternoon strolls and exploring the trails. For quick "business" trips and fresh air, there is also a small “park” literally 30 seconds downstairs from my door. Whether your pup needs a long adventure in the big park or a quick stretch right outside, I can easily accommodate their energy levels and bathroom needs throughout the day. I live alone in NYC and work from home two days for workdays , which allows me to provide constant companionship and frequent potty breaks for your pet. On my WFH days, your dog will never be lonely! During the rest of the week, my schedule is flexible, allowing for long morning walks, evening play sessions, and plenty of quality time. Since I don't have pets in my current apartment, your dog will receive 100% of my attention and affection during their stay. Safety is my top priority. When your dog is with me, I ensure a calm, pet-proofed environment where they can feel at ease. I am a firm believer in following the owner’s specific instructions to the letter—whether it’s a strict feeding schedule, leash manners during city walks, or crate training preferences. I live in a secure building and am very vigilant during walks to ensure we avoid any stressful situations. You can expect frequent photo updates so you can see exactly how much fun your pup is having!

About: I am new to rover but I have tons of experience walking dogs and housesitting! I love spending time with dogs and getting to know their unique personalities. Caring for dachshunds, rescue dogs, and a deaf pit bull has taught me to be observant, and adapt to each dog’s individual needs. I work Monday through Friday (my availability is different this week 8/31! ) so I’m typically available on weekends and early morning/evening walks and home stays depending on what your dog needs. Every dog is different, so I’ll tailor each visit to what they enjoy and need most, whether that’s long walks, playtime, a trip to the park, or just relaxing. I enjoy spending my weekends outside, and having a dog to join me on a walk is always a lovely bonus. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll follow their usual routine, respect their boundaries, and adapt my care to their personality and breed. I have doggy stairs for dachshunds to help protect their backs, and I’m happy to accommodate any special needs. I’ll treat your pup like my own and send plenty of photos and updates so you always know they’re happy and in good hands.
