About: Providing dedicated care for your beloved animals is my passion. With 10 years of hands-on experience, I offer a wide range of services including pet walking, boarding, grooming, and day care for everything from dogs and cats to birds and bunnies. My approach centers on your pet's comfort and happiness through consistent routines and positive reinforcement. I maintain a safe, clean environment and practice vigilant observation to ensure your pet's well-being. I've worked at the Animal Care Centers of NY and I hold a Red Cross Pet First Aid Course certification and have extensive experience with senior, special needs, and challenging pets. I remain calm during emergencies, prioritizing clear communication and your pre-discussed plans. I am punctual, responsible, and compassionate. I truly love witnessing the unique quirks of every animal I meet, and I look forward to treating your pets like members of my own family. After the passing of my own sweet boy, I now have time every day to care for other furry babies. I'm available for sitting, boarding, and walks. Your fur babies will feel right at home whether at my place or yours! I'm sure to follow all training methods and dietary restrictions. I'm happy to teach your pet some tricks as well!
“Neha is very warm and affectionate with Chippy. She also wanted to know about everything she could do to make his walk great, and all the details about how to care for him. I know that Chippy is in good hands with Neha!”
“David was really great with my Tallulah! She’s had swollen jowls and treatment was needed while I was gone. When I got back, her jowls looked so much better. Thanks David!”

About: Hello! I’m Megan, a dedicated and experienced house sitter based in New York City. Originally from sunny Southern California, I moved to NYC to pursue my love of musical theatre. When I’m not out auditioning, taking dance class, or hitting the rehearsal studio, you’ll usually find me lost in a great book, catching up on Marvel movies, planning my next trip to Disneyland, or out exploring the city and finding fun activities with friends. I’ve been house sitting and overnight pet sitting since 2022, and since moving to New York, it has been the absolute best way to supplement my creative life while giving me the flexibility to care for homes and pets with total dedication. I take pride in being exceptionally easy to work with, communicative, and respectful of your space. Whether it’s strictly following your household routines, keeping things sparkling clean, or making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and pampered while you're away, I've got you covered (and you can always count on plenty of cute photo updates!). To give you complete peace of mind while you're away, I offer a full variety of services to ensure your home and pets are exceptionally well cared for: • Pet Care & Feeding: Making sure your furry friends stay happy, healthy, and on their normal routine. • Mail Collection: Keeping an eye on your mail so it never piles up. • Plant Care: Ensuring your plants receive the exact attention and water they need. • Winter Maintenance: Providing snow clearing services during the winter months so you return to a safe, accessible home. General Upkeep: Managing trash and recycling to maintain a clean and tidy environment. My daily rate is $10. I’d love to chat, meet your furry family members, and answer any questions you might have. References are always available upon request—I look forward to helping you! I currently work part-time (4 days a week) at a restaurant in the city and my shifts are 7 hours long in the evenings, plenty of time during the day to hang out with your pets and also wind down with them in the evenings. I am able to fully stay with your pets each night of your booking and to house sit as well! Due to my condos rules, I am currently unable to offer my space for your pets but am happy to come to yours and stay!
“Regina is so sweet, she really gives both my animals the attention they deserve! She's very consistent and trustworthy, can't say enough good things about her.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet sitter for both. I have cared for all kinds of dogs, ranging from a 4 month old golden retriever puppy to a 8 year old pittie mix, and have taken care of as many as three dogs in one home. I'm also an extremely active individual and would love to take your dog on long walks and runs outside. I would love to meet you and your pet! :)
“AJ was amazing with my dog Sisi! Always on time and gave her extra special love and attention. I would definitely recommend AJ for all your pet care needs”

“Erik has been great with my highly energetic large floppy puppy Zoey. He arrives on time and in a great mood. He is super patient with my crazy big fur-ball and she comes back from their walks happy. I will continue to book with Erik.”

About: I have been taking care of pets for most of my life! I have experience with puppies and kittens as well as senior dogs and cats. Happy to take your pet out on a walk, play with them, or simply check in on them and make sure they’re happy! I just moved to New York City and my full time job doesn’t start for another couple of months (probably), so I have complete flexibility! Can check in on your pet any time of day, any day of the week! I have taken care of my senior, anxiety-ridden cat in my apartments in Chicago and now New York for several years, so I am very experienced with city cats! I grew up with a dog and have limited experience taking dogs on walks in the city, so I’m excited to get started!
“Carlos was great! Followed all my instructions and was so flexible with scheduling as he came last minute for a quick meet and greet. Will definitely use him again.”

“Excellent dependable dog walker. He also takes the time to do things like figure out when is best to do off leash at the park and play with other dogs and watches behavior and reports. He is our go to. Very happy with Noah!”

About: Hi everyone :)) I'm an actor who recently moved to NYC, I'm really missing my pets back home, and would love to help care for yours! As someone currently observing the rising prices in EVERYTHING, I want to be able to negotiate my prices based on your budget. Growing up, my house never had fewer than three pets at a time, everything from dwarf hamsters to dogs and cats. That constant chaos taught me a lot, especially about introducing new pets to each other. I’ve learned that every animal moves at their own pace especially when meeting strangers, and I’m happy to meet them there. By the time I was a teenager, I’d become the go to pet sitter for my friends’ families, so I’m used to adapting to different homes, routines, and personalities. I’ll stick to your pet’s schedule, send updates and photos while you’re away, and treat their space like it’s my own. As a performer, my schedule is super flexible! I have plenty of daytime availability during the week plus evenings and weekends, so I’m easy to work around if you need care during weird hours, drop ins, or last minute care. As a performer and freelancer, my schedule is always a little different from week to week allowing for lots of flexibility around you and your pets routines. Over the past few years I’ve been juggling school, performing, and a few jobs, this has really polished my time management skills to fit into what your pet care needs. The apartment is small and simple with access to a private patio, a grassy yard, and a roof deck. My place it self is small and simple, meaning a small and simple adjustment for your pet with room to explore that isn’t accessible to the public. My neighborhood contains a number of parks and shops to explore during walks too!

About: I have been a pet lover for as long as I can remember and couldn't imagine my life without one. I am the go-to sitter for family and friends who know that their beloved companion is safe in my hands. I have owned and cared for cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, birds, rats, chinchillas, lizards and fish. In the past, I worked as a volunteer at the ASPCA and worked for a doggy day care for a while where I was in charge of washing and drying dogs. In 2018, I started walking and pet sitting through a variety of apps including this one and have doing it ever since! I live an active lifestyle and can keep your dog engaged and mentally stimulated while having fun! Growing up around Rottweilers, Bulldogs and Mastiffs, I am comfortable and familiar with dogs of all breeds, dispositions and sizes. I am familiar with positive reinforcement training techniques and am more than happy to adhere to any training routines that are given. I have my own business and set my own hours so I can fit in pet care whenever your individual pets needs it! Having such flexibility allows me to open my day up to whatever service you need. In my home, dogs would be taken out according to the schedule dictated by the owner. I always make sure the dog has plenty of toys to entertain themselves and I make sure that pooches are mentally stimulated by introducing new and creative brain games. If the dog is particularly high energy, a nice jog in the park or game of tug is always welcome. I provide owner with check ins twice [or more if the client [prefers] daily through whatever channel they are most comfortable with. Fresh water is always readily available in multiple locations of the house and I always carry a portable bowl and water for walks. In my home, dogs are allowed on furniture but understand and respect rules that different from mine. They can expect my full attention as I am a home body.
“Nerisa is a lovely and warm young lady. She makes me feel calm and good about my decision to haveDior being walked while I work. Dior loves going out with her and gets excited each time rlsees her. thank you for being such a warm and professional person.”

“Rory is communicative, friendly and very accommodating. He gives my dogs plenty of attention and I don't feel I have to worry about anything when he comes to visit. Thanks Rory!”

About: No one will ever love you as unconditionally as your beloved pet will. That’s why it’s important to make sure they are always taken care of. Whether you work long hours or you’re going out of town on vacation, you can rest assured that whenever your pet is under my care, they are in great hands. I’ve always been a huge animal lover. I’ve owned 4 dogs in my lifetime; a Shiba Inu who I adopted from a shelter, and two puppies: a Husky Pitbull Terrier Mix and two Dachshunds. I would love to take your dog on a walk, cuddle them, give them lots of hugs and kisses, maybe even teach them a trick or two. I also offer Cat Care services (kitties need love too!) No matter what, you can always count on me to give your pet lots of love and attention and take great care of them. Aside from Rover, I work full time as a Reservations Manager/Server/Host but it’s hybrid, so part time in the city in the evenings some days of the week and part time remotely. I’m always available outside of when I have to go in which is usually Mon/Tues/Wed from 7 pm to midnight/1am and Saturdays from 2-11 pm. Always available in the mornings and early afternoons regardless of the day and all day Thursday, Friday & Sunday. I’m also super flexible with time so don’t hesitate to ask! I have a communal back yard area that they can plan in and a 5 year old mini dachshund that they can play with. I also have a medium size crate if needed. My apartment is fairly spacious, cozy with a ton of natural light.
The median cost per walk for dog walking in Bedford-Stuyvesant is $24

Saige is amazing! She is so easy to work with and takes such good care of Hero (my pup). He has lots of quirks, so she does a very good job catering to those! He is also a very energetic guy, and she is so great playing toss with him. Truly makes it so I don’t have to worry!

I cannot recommend Regina enough! She stepped in for me last-minute when my unexpected surgery came up and her flexibility gave me so much peace of mind during a stressful time. My dogs were so well-cared for, and she even sent the absolute best, most adorable photo updates after every walk. It meant the world to know my pups were happy and in such great hands while I was recovering. Thank you so much!"

AJ is truly the best !! They go above and beyond to make my pup feel loved while I’m at work. They always send pics and updates too. They even drew some cartoons of my dog which I’m obsessed with. I was really nervous about using a dog walking app because I was worried about having strangers in my home but they immediately felt like a friend I could trust and rely on and you can tell they genuinely love animals. Thank you AJ!!!

Jessica was amazing with Lola! She communicated with us throughout the entire time, was very flexible with our schedule, and was there every day exactly when we needed her. She was reliable, friendly, and made us feel completely comfortable while we were away. Most importantly, Lola absolutely loved her, which meant a lot to us. You can tell Jessica really cares about the pets she works with and takes the time to make them feel comfortable. We had a great experience with her and would definitely book her again. Highly recommend!

My initial impression of Ursh was wonderful. She proposed a meet-and-greet for a few minutes prior to the walk, which was perfect given my dog has some special needs. She arrived on time and was respectful of my home (I'm a "shoe's off" house). She was immediately very warm with my pup and sent a picture during the walk. She also relayed info about how much he peed/pooped, which is always helpful. Would definitely use her again!
