About: I've always had a multitude of critters in my life, from dogs and cats to hamsters and even tarantulas! Pet care is something that has always been a priority for my happiness... animals enrich our lives so deeply, and thus I am delighted to commit time to care for them. I have volunteered with a multitude of shelters and organizations, and have worked with hundreds of different types of animals with a large variety of needs. From kittens and puppies to seniors, from calm and independent to high energy and anxious-- nothing phases me, I've seen it all! I am a freelance artist with a very flexible schedule. I am able to sit overnight in your home and will be able to stay with them throughout the day. When I take care of pets in my clients home, I will stay 100% of the time if needed. Your peace of mind is my priority! I will follow your pet's routine to a T, and am happy to provide various forms of enrichment and interaction depending on their needs. I also will take care of various house tasks, such as plant care and taking in mail. I love taking photos and will happily and frequently send them alongside updates if that is what you would like! And of course, I will contact you if there are any problems requiring your specific guidance. As a pet owner myself, I know how nerve wracking leaving them behind can be. Thank you for reading :) I'm a freelance animator, and the time I spend working is super flexible. At this moment in time, I am very free for sitting, with flexible hours Monday-Sunday. I am a very big routine follower-- when you go away, one of the biggest things your pet is anxious about is their routine changing, and I can help with that! I can do walks, feeding, medication, playtimes, etc. any time that your pet needs it, on whatever schedule given. Other than that, my downtime in your home is mostly spent drawing or reading, so I'm always there to keep a close eye.

As a seasoned competitor in dog agility, I competed across the East Coast with my beloved childhood dog. Additionally, I’ve taught private lessons in puppy obedience and agility. Besides dog care, I have owned/cared for a variety of animals including cats, reptiles/amphibians and gerbils. I work fully remote with a lot of time and flexibility for drop-in visits or long walks around your neighborhood, or at a nearby park. I can provide anything your pet needs such as giving medication, food/water, playing with your pet and giving them attention. I can crate them if needed.

About: *I do not have a dog in NY — my profile says I have 1 dog but he is my mother’s and lives in Oregon. I needed to get a sitter for him during a family event. I have had dogs since I was 10 years old and since moving to NY, I've been looking for a way to spend time with some. Unfortunately, my work schedule doesn't allow me to have a dog personally. But I thought this would be the next best thing! When I'm not looking to spend time with dogs, I am a creative director with a passion for illustration and lettering. I work full-time during the week and may be freelancing during the weekends, but I tend to keep my weekends more free. I work full-time, with 3 days required in office but typically I have some flexibility with this if I know ahead of time to plan for more remote days. My home is a safety space for your pet — and I will follow your lead on house rules. If you do no allow them on furniture (or specific furniture), I will follow the rule so that there is consistency for them. And if there are certain steps that need to be taken to feed and care for them, I will always reference your notes to follow.

About: Trusting someone else with your pet can be scary, which is why I go out of my way to make sure we're on the same page about anything and everything you and your pet will need during their time with me. Want frequent text updates? Absolutely. Does your dog need lots of petting? Ball throwing? Cuddles? Done. I've been taking care of dogs since I was a child - I never lived without dogs. I have taken care of many senior dogs - my own and those I've watched - so I know what it's like to sit up with a sick dog all night. I can stick to a complicated medicine routine. Most importantly, I understand that everyone has their own pet-care routines, and the last thing you want to do is have that disrupted when you leave. I will make sure we are in 100% clear agreement about what you need me to do to ensure both you and your pet are comfortable and happy. I am a full-time actor with a decent amount of flexibility when I'm not on a project. I'm an early riser but can adapt to whatever schedule works best for your pet! I live close to Maria Hernandez park! I love to walk, so I can do as much of this as your pet needs. Happy to sleep with a dog in the bed or not, whatever they prefer. Can provide lots of cuddles and ball throwing.

About: Hi there! My name is Jason, and I'd love to take care of your dog! I grew up on Long Island with both cats and dogs, and over the years I've volunteered with several shelters and I've fostered more pups than I can count. I presently live in Crown Heights, but I’m able to travel all over Brooklyn for dog care duties (I have a bike + car). Typically during the days I work as a high school co-teacher, but I’m currently off for the summer. I’m also a graduate student actively taking classes, but I have plenty of time to walk and/or hang out with your pup during both the day and at night. I also have a knack for training, so I'd be happy to follow whatever regiment you have in place or work with them on something new. I’m very active and I love being outside whenever I can, so your dog would have lots of opportunities to see sights and smell smells, but I'm also quite skilled at hanging home and scratching bellies if your dog is more of a loafer. Feel free to reach out with any questions, and thanks for considering me! - Jason I'm a big creature of habit and I love having a dog around to help keep me to a structured schedule re: walks and feedings. I can also adapt to more specific needs. I try to follow any provided instructions and guidelines as much as possible, and I like to think I treat other people's pets as if they're my own.
