About: I am new to rover but I have tons of experience walking dogs and housesitting! I love spending time with dogs and getting to know their unique personalities. Caring for dachshunds, rescue dogs, and a deaf pit bull has taught me to be observant, and adapt to each dog’s individual needs. I work Monday through Friday, so I’m available on weekends. And early morning/evening walks and home stays depending on what your dog needs. Every dog is different, so I’ll tailor each visit to what they enjoy and need most, whether that’s long walks, playtime, a trip to the park, or just relaxing. I enjoy spending my weekends outside, and having a dog to join me on a walk is always a lovely bonus. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll follow their usual routine, respect their boundaries, and adapt my care to their personality and breed. I have doggy stairs for dachshunds to help protect their backs, and I’m happy to accommodate any special needs. I’ll treat your pup like my own and send plenty of photos and updates so you always know they’re happy and in good hands.

About: I have taken care of mostly mid-sized short hair dogs, but also bunnies and cats. Not afraid of bigger dogs either. I’m quiet, respectful and friendly. Currently available in the morning on weekdays. I have no cars so a location within 5 min. to a metro stop works best. May also be available on other days and times depending on the schedule. I’m currently working part-time and want to meet some furry friends and get to know the neighborhood. How I meet/ interact with furry friends:say hello, meet their eyes, palms up, show no signs of aggression, approach slowly and give a scratch if they look comfortable. I use a firm voice and gesture to calm them down when needed, too. Feel free to leave more instructions .

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and attentive dog lover with several years of hands-on experience caring for small dogs. Since 2020, I’ve regularly cared for my friend’s Yorkie while their family is away on vacation, and since 2022 I’ve helped care for my partner’s Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Pip. Because I work from home, I’m able to give dogs lots of attention, companionship, and consistent care throughout the day. I’m experienced with administering eye drops, cleaning around the eye area, wiping paws after walks, and adapting to each dog’s energy level — whether that means long walks, shorter strolls, or lots of playtime and cuddles. While I don’t have a yard, I live within walking distance of Prospect Park, so dogs have access to great walking routes, fresh air, and outdoor time. I work from home full time and would be able to check on your pet throughout the day to visit/walk! I’m also open to in-home boarding for longer term stays! I have a friendly, sometimes playful sometimes sleepy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who lives with me. I walk and feed him every morning and evening. We play at various points throughout the day!
