About: Hi! I'm a recent graduate of a dual Master's degree program in Physician Assistant Studies and Public Health. I've been a dog lover for as long as I can remember and have years of experience walking, playing with, and checking in on dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. My family has a 6-year-old Goldendoodle named Murphy, who has taught me just how much love, attention, and exercise our furry friends need to thrive. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playtime, or just some extra cuddles and companionship, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I would love the opportunity to treat your dog like one of my own! I am currently available for weekend walks and drop in visits! My fiancé, Zach, and I often do the walks together! We both love dogs and find 2 people is always better than one for a fun walk around town! Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: I'm a patient and attentive animal-lover with many years' experience handling others' pets as well as my own. I've leash-trained my own dog since he was a puppy and am very tuned in to the mood and energy of dogs generally. I've studied dog breeds since adolescence and understand the traits, habits, and needs of different breeds (terrier vs. hounds, working breeds vs. toy, mixed breeds, etc). I also have several years' experience with cats, having 2 of my since they were kittens. I'm a writer and artist, so I can make my schedule flexible around my bookings and whatever pet care may be needed. I am looking for both reoccurring clients and clients with sporadic care needs. I care for pets by adhering closely to the client's instructions. I return pet items where found and only provide treats if approved by the pet parent. If the pet has any quirks or special needs — habits, triggers, harness wear, etc. — I take note.

Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I make sure they are in a clean, secure, and calm environment. After walks, I always wipe or wash their paws, and I can bathe them if needed. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, treats, routines, and any special requirements. If medication is required, I administer it responsibly and exactly as directed. I pay close attention to each pet’s behaviour and comfort level to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for at all times.
