When I visit your home, I treat it with the same care and respect as my own. I always remove my shoes and wash my hands right away to keep your cat safe from NYC’s outside germs. I carefully follow your instructions, making sure your cat’s routine is consistent and stress-free. During each visit, I provide plenty of playtime, affection, and attention so they feel happy and fulfilled. Before I leave, I love putting on bird or squirrel videos for them—a little optional bonus entertainment to keep them company for a few extra hours.

I love keeping pets happy, engaged, and stimulated while you’re away. I provide plenty of playtime with their favorite toys, interactive games, and gentle enrichment activities to keep their minds and bodies active. If your cat enjoys it, I offer plenty of petting, scratchies, and cuddles to make them feel safe and loved. My goal is to make every visit fun, comforting, and tailored to your pet’s personality.

Cats aren’t just pets to me—they’re family. I’ve lived with them my whole life, share my home with two of my own, and genuinely love caring for them. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with cats of all personalities—from confident and playful to shy and anxious—and I pride myself on reading each cat’s unique needs and making them feel safe and cared for. I may be new to Rover but I am tenured in catsitting and can't wait to help take care of your cats! I’m also skilled at administering oral medication and supporting cats with special routines or sensitivities. Volunteering regularly at the Best Friends Adoption Center in SoHo has given me even more hands-on experience with cats of all ages and temperaments. Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to give your cats the time, attention, and schedule they’re used to. Most importantly, I’ll treat your cats like my own—with patience, affection, and genuine care.

I highly recommend Gabriela G. as a pet sitter. Gabriela cared for my two cats on many occasions over a 10+ year period. She was always very reliable and communicative. One of my cats needed a special diet and medication as she aged, and Gabriela was able to administer pills to her without issue, which was not an easy task. She also spent extra time with my cats when she visited them which was very comforting as well. Gabriela is very kind, loving and responsible caregiver.
Gabby would be the first person I would ask to watch over my cats. She is always so patient and playful with all of the animals she interacts with. Having seen first hand how she handles taking care of her own two cats, it makes sense for her to help out others with theirs. Cannot recommend her enough!
