“Afiya did a drop-in visit for my cat Lumi, and I could not have asked for better. She kept me fully in the loop the whole time and shared pictures, which I loved. It instantly put me at ease knowing Lumi was in good hands. Would definitely book again!”

“Layla walked my pup Phoebe for the first time recently. I haven't met her in person yet, but she seemed great on the phone and was very responsive and adaptable! I am planning to her again in the future for housesitting as well as walking.”

“Trinity took great care of our cat for 8 days while we were out of town for the holiday. She was reliable, punctual, attentive, and left the apartment spotless after she was done. Ripley really seemed to warm up to her too, which is no small feat! We highly recommend her and would consider booking her again if we need another sitter.”

“Lori was extremely attentive and kind to my cat, Beatrice. She is an older cat who needs a lot of care (special food, 2 different types of eye drops, liquid medication) and Lori took care of everything with no issues. She also kept me updated on each visit and sent lots of photos, which is always appreciated. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Molly was a great sitter!! My cat is super shy, but Molly was very persistent and patient with him. This proved incredibly important when I got home, because my cat doesn’t like it when I’m away for more than a day, and he’s prone to hiding for a few hours when I return. But since Molly was so good and attentive with him, he was so so quick to bounce back and be back to his regular self :) I’d highly recommend Molly!!”

“Brian has taken care of our two newly adopted cats twice in the past month. Each time, he has ensured they are well fed, have clean water, clean litter boxes, and plenty of playtime. His communication has been excellent, and he follows instructions perfectly. He has been attentive to the different dietary needs of our cats and has administered medicine and wet food to our injured cat with care. Highly recommend Brian for his outstanding service—five stars!”

“She did so great taking care of my three cats and keeping me updated. She was even able to give my very shy cat his inhaler after a couple of days which we thought was going to be impossible! Will definitely use her again :)”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life — growing up with them at home gave me a deep understanding of their needs and personalities. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large dogs, for friends and family through walks, drop-ins, and home stays. As a remote-working attorney, I bring the same reliability and attention to detail to pet care that I do to my professional life. Your pup will always be in trustworthy, attentive hands. I work fully remote, which means I’m home all day and able to give dogs consistent attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’m available for boarding, walks, drop-ins, and daycare — my flexible schedule makes it easy to accommodate your routine. I live in a spacious Brooklyn townhome with plenty of room for dogs to move around comfortably. We’re just a 5-minute walk to Prospect Park, so boarded or daycare dogs get real outdoor time with open grass and space to run. I’m experienced with both small and large breeds and know how to create a calm, safe environment for dogs whether I’m hosting at my place or visiting yours.
“Monika is an excellent cat sitter. She took extra time to meet and greet with us and our baby, asked lots of valuable questions about his normal routine and care, and was very good at communicating during visits.”

“Lena did a terrific job. She sent so many pictures and videos of our sweetie each day we were gone. You could tell how much our cat loved the affection and play time with Lena. Highly recommend Lena.”

“Toi is just the best! He is so friendly and communicative and always sends plenty of photos and updates of our kitty. We were running low on cans of wet food and Toi even grabbed us a couple back up cans while we were gone, he really goes the extra mile!”

“Avary was an amazing sitter for our dog, Luca! When Luca got stressed while we were away on vacation, Avary went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and cared for, which gave us real peace of mind. I highly recommend Avary for your pet care needs, and I will absolutely be booking again for all of our pets.”

“Alexandra has looked after our Chez multiple times now, and every time we come home he is so happy and healthy! Her daily pics make us so happy to know he’s played with and cared for”

“Julia is a gem! She took such good care of our little goober and sent gorgeous pictures of her each day, along with really reassuring messages. And she left our house immaculate, too! Cannot wait to rebook with her.”

“GOATed sitter, cool guy, cats like him more than me. Left very detailed messages each day with lots of pictures and videos. Made our trip a lot better knowing the cats were safe and happy”

“Elizabeth was amazing with my cats — very caring, responsible, and communicative throughout. I came home to happy, relaxed cats and a spotless space. I’ll definitely be rebooking her next time!”

“Marie is a real cat person ! We felt so great having her watch our kitties while we were gone. Our cats loved her and she was very communicative and responsive. Would recommend her to anyone and everyone!”

About: "Dogs aren't our whole life, but they make our lives whole."R.A.Caras. In today’s chaotic world, we are so grateful to have the opportunity to play with so many dogs-a.k.a the most natural anti-depressants in the world-in our home. We understand dogs have ups & downs like any being, so we're patient & non intrusive when needed or compassionate & soothing. We respect & provide positive energy as we know dogs are very intuitive, but take command when necessary, especially if safety is a factor. We understand that many dogs are rescues & may have encountered hardships on the streets so we strive to present a safe & inviting home with patience. They are welcome on our furniture (unless you say differently) & we're by their side as much or as little as they need, especially on the first couple nights away. We treat them as we are told (as opposed to “our rules, our house”) as we want the transition to be smooth & create a familiar atmosphere. We give belly rubs galore, play a little tug of war & make sure they never get bored! 😉 We are puppy paparazzi & will send you at least 2 pix/videos a day (I also voice overs so your pup may have a monologue in the videos 😂). ❤️ We've taken care of many dogs w/special needs, (administered meds & shots), put on diapers, dealt w/seizures, triggers, anxieties, we have experience w/dogs that can't be around other dogs, as well as overly excited pups doing the hucklebuck. We take them for 4 walks a day depending on your request or their conditions. We can take them to Prospect Park or there are a few smaller areas to play near us as well or just stroll around the hood. But of course, if they're not good w/other dogs, then we just walk around & mind our own business, crossing streets a lot. 😊 WE DO NOT LET DOGS OFF LEASH. No matter how well behaved they are, we don’t trust other dog’s or people. If anything were to happen, we can’t take the chance that they will not react to our commands or if another dog is overly aggressive. But we can run with the fog and play a lot with them. ❤️ Our experience separately & together runs about 20 yrs. Jake grew up w/dogs & I've dog & cat sat for people for 15 years. We are very communicative w/ each other & the dog's family. We are extremely patient, non-judgmental & have no problem doing what ever you need us to do to feel secure. We look forward to meeting you all! My husband works from home, he is a Graphic Designer, and my schedule is very flexible. So we are good for dogs with separation anxiety as well If I am at your home, I have references from other clients whose homes I’ve stayed in. I can bring my own sheets and towels if necessary and will do a thorough cleaning upon leaving. I bring my own food and stick to myself because I’m an introvert and working on getting my Health Coaching career going :)

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Flatbush
Ashanti was fantastic with my cat, Oreo! She followed all of my instructions carefully, sent great updates of photos, and gave me peace of mind while I was away. She was also very flexible and was able to come for an extra visit when I had to extend my trip, which I really appreciated. I would definitely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Taylor was wonderful with our cat. Sometimes when we come home he seems sad but Taylor clearly made him feel loved and gave him all the play that was needed. I appreciate that Taylor followed all of my many directions. Will definitely try to rebook with them in the future

We’ve used Tamim twice and he is amazing! We have 3 cats, 2 are super friendly and the third always hides when guests come over. Tamim takes his time and always tries to at least find Goose and say hi so that we don’t worry about him while we’re away. He has always been super quick to respond and sends lots of cute pictures. We would highly recommend Tamim! He’s now our go to whenever we go away.

Alexandra was extremely reliable and friendly with my cats (they really took a liking to her!). She spoiled them with threats and she spoiled me with plenty of photos while I was away so that I didn’t miss them too much. I highly recommend Alexandra if you want a stress-free trip while you’re away from your pets!
