The true tell was that my dog was willing to take Avary on our USUAL hour-long night walk; something he highly protects. Alex was a phenomenal cat sitter, and I would book her again in a heartbeat! She was very responsible and gave frequent updates, and my cat really seemed to feel comfortable with her. She was attentive, caring, and respectful - 10/10, even from a very nervous cat parent. :)
My husband and I used Rover for the first time during a trip to Europe, and we were lucky enough to find Kassidy. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her! She went above and beyond to make sure our two cats were comfortable and well cared for, including daily playtime and even handling an unexpected bathroom cleanup. One of our cats is quite shy, but she came out of her shell much more than we would typically expect, while our more outgoing cat simply adored Kassidy—cuddles and all! I’m also a pretty anxious cat mom, and Kassidy did everything possible to put us at ease. She responded to every message right away, followed all of our instructions, offered to do more than was required, and sent detailed daily updates and photos of BOTH cats without us ever having to ask. We felt completely confident that they were safe, happy, and receiving plenty of attention while we were away. We will absolutely be booking Kassidy again in the future and couldn’t recommend her more highly to anyone looking for a thoughtful, responsible, and genuinely caring pet sitter. Fernando is amazing!! I have a large rescue mastiff mix who is a handful and can be reactive so I am always nervous trying to find new people to look after him but Fernando is great with him on walks and for drop in visits. He respects his boundaries and is able to handle any reactivity he has on walks. Recently Fernando watched him when I went away for a few days and I could tell Bubba was tired and happy when I got back. I will continue to make Fernando my go to dog walker and dog sitter in the neighborhood and I am so happy I found him
Nelson has been a godsend for us! He has covered dog walking and dogsat for us over a holiday weekend requested on short notice. We have a very large chowchow who can be quite strong when pulling on her leash during walks handles her very safely and compassionately from what we can tell! He has always been respectful about following her routine and when he dogsat for us over the Fourth of July weekend, he was very considerate and removed and washed our bedding without being asked. He left our house in exactly the same condition as it was left. I would highly recommend him for both dogs-sitting and dog walking.
Rachelle is the absolute best! She treats our two cats (one who is 19 years old and a very finicky eater) and our space as if it was her own. We've never had a cat/house sitter who showed so much care and attention to every detail and communicated so thoughtfully and consistently. We truly feel at ease when she is with our girls in our home!
We had the pleasure of having Dylan housesit our 15 lb rescue mix, Sully, while we were on a 10 night vacation. We couldn't be happier with the care, attention, and level of service she provided. She took Sully on several walks a day, fed him, and gave him lots of cuddles while also doing household tasks such as taking in packages and watering plants. The communication was friendly, consistent, and clear. She sent daily updates on how Sully was doing, along with some pretty downright adorable, well-shot photos. She even left behind a hand-drawn portrait of Sully, which was so unexpected and above-and-beyond. We'd definitely book her again! Thanks, Dylan! You're great at this!
Kelsey took amazing care of our dog, Maggie, while we were away for two weeks. She was fantastic from start to finish, with great communication and regular updates/photos that gave us so much peace of mind. Maggie needs a little extra care, especially during storms and fireworks, and Kelsey was incredibly patient, attentive, and compassionate with her. It was clear that Maggie was in great hands and being well looked after. We also came home to a spotless house, which was such a lovely bonus. Kelsey went above and beyond, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. We’d absolutely trust her to look after Maggie again!
Nina is a dream sitter! She looked after our two needy chihuahua mixes and skittish cat for 5 nights, staying in our home. She was conscientious and responsible, and sent updates and photos every day. The gang seemed very happy and relaxed in her care, which gave us great peace of mind. She kindly watered my plants and even brought mail in. And she left the apartment cleaner than it was when she arrived. Nina will definitely be our first choice the next time we need a sitter!
