Fairy dog-mother at your service!
Hi, my name is Kim, but my friends and clients call me the "fairy dogmother" and the "doggie doula" because of how great I take care of dogs (and because of how much I spoil and love them)! A little bit about my background-- I am based in Brooklyn one block from Prospect Park. I have over 15 years experience caring for and rescuing high-need dogs with health issues. Unfortunately, I cannot caretake for cats at this time because of my allergies. I decided to open up my home to dogs on Rover after my senior dog passed away from end-stage renal disease. Through caring for him and others, I have learned to administer subcutaneous fluid as well as oral medication to animals. I specifically have ample experience supporting dogs with generalized anxiety disorder, Cushing's, bladder stones, chronic pancreatitis, allergies, injuries, and so on. While I do have a full-time job that's unrelated to my passion for animals, I mostly work from home. This means that I am available during the day for many walks and snuggles for your furry loved one. I also only take one booking at a time, so you can ensure your pet(s) receive appropriate attention. If you ask anyone, they will tell you that they've never met someone who goes so above and beyond for dogs and that your companion will be so well-taken care of. (In fact, my vet might have asked me a to adopt HER a few times. LOL! 💜)

Kimberly was great with our dog Dakota!! She sent lots of updates and pictures, took her for walks in the park, and was easy to work with and communicative.
Kimberly was outstanding!! I cannot express how caring and communicative she was while she took care of my dog. She gave updates with pictures and gave me ideas for my furry picky eater. Kimberly was respectful in my home and left the place neater and cleaner then I left it! Truly she is a wonderful care taker and I recommend her highly.
Kimberly was fantastic- communication was easy, I received lots of photos and updates. Teddy seemed very happy; it looked like he got a lot of walks, treats, and attention. He had an issue with his nose which she immediately texted about and was proactive in helping him. Even offered to send medicine home with him if we didn't have. She was flexible and understanding when plans changed. We will definitely be using Kimberly again.

Kimberly was absolutely wonderful! She was warm, punctual, and professional from the start. My dog Franklin can be very anxious and has serious stranger danger, but he took to her immediately, which never happens. She sent lots of photos, videos, and thoughtful updates that made me feel completely at ease while I was away. By the end of the stay, Franklin was so happy with her he had to be bribed to come back home! Kimberly is kind, caring, and truly loves the dogs she looks after. I can’t recommend her enough.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Kimberly took amazing care of my dog and truly treated her like family. Her communication was excellent — she sent me daily picture updates and always made sure to ask before making any changes or decisions. I really appreciated how she followed all of my feeding instructions perfectly and even spoke Spanish to my dog so she would feel comfortable and understood. You can tell she’s genuinely sweet and caring; my dog was so spoiled and happy the whole time. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, loving, and attentive! 🐶💛

Schedule
I can work my day around whatever routine you set for your furry loved one. Additionally, so long as you have wifi and a clean home, I don't mind staying at your house if that's better for caretaking.

I do have a backyard but prefer to walk dogs outside. I also bring dogs to socialize with others during off-leash hours, if the family/owner is okay with that.
A typical day
I love going to Prospect Park for off-leash hours, throwing toys and playing tug-of-war inside of my home. Depending on the dog's temperament and permission from owners, I also take dogs to therapy appointments, outdoor dining in my neighborhood, etc.
