Like yourself, I am a devoted lover of animals. From small to large, my heart is filled with unconditional love and care for sweet puppies, kittens and older beloved furry pals. My care experience for our K-9 and feline companions started at an early age. As I have grown, so has my experience and adaptation to care for the needs of youthful and older dogs as well as cats. I'm good at time management and multitasking. When I am not home, then I am out and about walking, biking or skating through parks or taking a walk in lovely calm neighborhoods. Caring for your furry babies in the your home involves maintaining their regular routine while ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness. Here's how I approach it: Meet & Greet: I always start with a meeting to understand the pets' needs, habits, and the owner's preferences. Feeding: I follow the owner's instructions for feeding schedules and dietary requirements. Ensuring pets have fresh water and their designated food. Exercise & Play: For dogs, I provide daily walks, runs, and playtime to keep them physically active and mentally stimulated. For cats, I engage in interactive play with toys like feather wands and laser pointers. Comfort & Safety: I ensure pets are in a safe environment, free from hazards. I keep an eye on their behavior and health, looking out for any signs of distress or illness. Grooming & Hygiene: I maintain their grooming routine, including brushing fur, cleaning litter boxes, and attending to any specific hygiene needs. Companionship: I spend quality time with the pets, offering plenty of affection and attention to make them feel comfortable and loved while their owner is away. Updates: I keep the owner informed with regular updates and photos, providing peace of mind about their pets' well-being. By sticking to these practices, I ensure that pets are well-cared for and happy in their own home environment.

jaidi has a soothing and calming demeanor that meshed really well with our three cats, two of whom can be a little anxious and sensitive. two of our cats were currently being separated for some behavioral training, meaning there would need to be a little extra care and attention paid to them. she made sure the cats were swapped between the bedroom and living room to avoid feeling trapped in a small space for too long. bobbie can take a while to warm up to new people, but she seemed to take to jaidi rather quickly. towards the end of her stay, bobbie climbed onto her back which she only does with my partner (bobbie was originally adopted by my partner before we moved in together) and rarely with me. bobbie even went up on a vertical hammock for the first time since we installed it about 2 weeks ago. throughout our vacation, we got the cutest and most precious photo updates that made me feel like they were in the best hands and we had absolutely nothing to worry about. all to say, she worked her magic with our cats and they seemed to have a good time together. we will definitely be going to jaidi for all our future catsitting needs <3
She takes the best care and pictures of Spencer. He's always so happy when Jaidi looks after him. Jaidi is always my first call any time I need someone to take care of my senior dog.

I always trust Jaida to care for my cat Quentin while I’m out of town. She is communicative and reliable. Quentin adores her! Q needs daily meds and she’s the only one who can actually administer them.

Schedule
Outside of Rover I work for NYCDOE as a substitute, typically off on most observed holidays. Sometimes I don’t have an assignment to work, so my schedule might be completely open.
