“Came home to happy and well-cared-for kitties! They’re super shy usually and came out for Kseniia, so I’m impressed. :) Thank you so much for caring for them!”

“Onyekachi is amazing! She took the time to really get to know my dog and communicates frequently, which gives me so much peace of mind. My dog is a senior and will be staying alone for the first time ever, so I was naturally nervous. Thanks to Onyekachi’s thoughtful drop-in visits and attentive care, I feel confident that my dog will be safe, comfortable, and very well cared for.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since 15. I gained all of my experience that I have today through taking care of neighbors, friends, colleagues, and family’s pets. I am a loving, kind, caring, and patient person. I learned so much from caring for animals, that I adore them so much! Also additional, I have experience with puppies, kittens, and senior pets. I’m currently a college student, my classes are held online. Which gives me plenty of time to spend with the doggies. My weekends are busy but I can do mornings only. Because the weekends are the only days I have to finish my college work. I care for my clients pets like if they were my own. I make sure to make my clients pets feel as comfortable and safe as possible, like if they were in their own home. I love taking my time to get to know my clients pets because each pet has their own personality! I also make sure to follow any rules or meal plans that my clients leave for their pets.
About: Hi there. My name is Greg. I don't currently own any pets but I am a definite dog lover. Most of my youth is filled with memories of my Collie/German Shep mix named Freckles. She was gentle and loving and the best pal I could have had. We had her for 16 years and I still miss her. If your dog loves attention, and getting the chance to go for a nice walk outside, I'm your guy. I live about 2 miles from Prospect Park and, as a frequent runner, exploring the neighborhood and being outside is what I do most on the weekend. I am definitely happy to be with dogs who enjoy being outside on longer walks as much as I do. As for my current services, I offer dog sitting in your home or my home, as well as dog walking and drop in visits. Please note: for dog boarding, my building doesn't allow dogs larger than 25 lbs or so, however I would watch a dog of any size if house sitting in your home. Also, during the week I am working back in the office, so I could be away from your pup during the workday. I will discuss with you in advance timing to ensure your dogs's needs as you advise them are completely met. At nights and weekends, your dog wouldn't be alone for any more than just a few hours. Lastly, I am free to talk about any questions or concerns you may have. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your dog! For my schedule: I am currently working remote so your dog would get a lot of daily attention. Morning walks before work, walks around lunch and dinner time are not a problem. Weekends are chill and would be more of the same environment, I may occasionally need to go into the office in the city - but that would be discussed with you in advance . As for my home, I live in a doorman building at the end of a dead end street. My home will always be secured. If staying in your home, your dog would always be in a secure area as well.
“Molly was a great sitter!! My cat is super shy, but Molly was very persistent and patient with him. This proved incredibly important when I got home, because my cat doesn’t like it when I’m away for more than a day, and he’s prone to hiding for a few hours when I return. But since Molly was so good and attentive with him, he was so so quick to bounce back and be back to his regular self :) I’d highly recommend Molly!!”

“Alexandra is kind, prompt, and provides the best information on her cards. She is so patient with my trauma baby Hecate. I am always grateful to have her to Co tact to take care of my baby.”

“Ashanti is a true gem. She’s charming, communicates clearly, and genuinely loves and cares for the pets she watches. My pets adore her. She went above and beyond in every way, and I truly feel at ease knowing they’re in such loving hands. I’ve already booked her for long-term and frequent visits. Highly recommended!”

“Vivian was amazing with my kitty Peanut! I had communication with her every visit and she sent multiple pics and updates. Peanut was shy and took some time to warm up to her but Vivian was constant with her attention and helped Peanut to feel secure while we were away. I would hire her again in a heartbeat-if you need a compassionate and dependable person, Vivian is your best bet!”

About: I have lived with and cared for dogs and cats my whole life. Family, friends, neighbors, and more have trusted me to feed, walk, and look after their pets. I am currently working part-time, so I have lots of time to care for your furbabies! I am available for sitting and walks on weekends and weekdays. I am committed to caring for a pet down to every last detail, ensuring that they feel safe, energized, and happy. I am always willing to go that extra mile (both figuratively and literally on our walks!).
“Avary is absolutely amazing! Such a sweet person that loves animals and with patience and a few Churus was able to win my cat Hanna over! Avary sent us multiple pictures and checked every detail with us to make sure we knew our kitty was taken care of. Thank you Avary! 100% would recommend 🥰🫶🏼”

About: I’m a long-time cat owner with 13 years of experience caring for my two senior cats. Most of my day-to-day experience comes from maintaining their routines, monitoring their health over time, and learning to understand their individual personalities and needs. I also have extensive experience caring for my mom’s Mini Labradoodle and my sister’s Rottweiler and so I am well-versed in dealing with dogs of various sizes, energy levels, and dispositions. My care style is calm, patient, and routine-focused. With cats, I don’t rush interaction, and I don’t force attention. I let them adjust at their own pace and prioritize keeping their environment predictable and low-stress. With dogs, I am confident and assertive, but also tender and attentive - striking a balance that ensures safety and security and also fosters comfort and fun for your fur baby. Comfort Level: * For cats: * Comfortable following and executing detailed feeding instructions * Litter box cleaning, vomit, and accident cleanup * Playing with and/or being a quiet companion * For dogs: * Comfortable following and executing detailed feeding instructions * Cleaning up poop, vomit, and accidents * Playing with and/or being a quiet companion * Walking (small dogs and mild-mannered medium-sized dogs only) Availability: * During Summer: * Weekdays and evenings, with flexibility on most Saturdays. * During the school year (I work in education, so my schedule does change): * Weekday evenings, with flexibility on most Saturdays I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats and dogs. My goal is simple: to be a steady, trustworthy presence for your cat and dog, while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and my availability changes slightly with the school calendar. During the summer, I have full availability throughout the week, which allows me to accommodate daytime visits, extended care, and more flexible scheduling. During the school year, I work outside the home during the day, but I’m consistently available in the evenings and on Saturdays for visits and care. When I accept a booking, I plan my schedule carefully to ensure I can be reliable and consistent. I understand that fur babies thrive on routine, so I prioritize punctuality and dependability once care is scheduled. I provide care in my clients’ homes, where I prioritize maintaining your fur baby’s familiar environment and routine as closely as possible. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, medication instructions when applicable, and any specific behavioral notes about your cat or dog. I understand that consistency is especially important for your fur baby, and I aim to minimize disruption while you are away. During each visit, I check that your fur baby is safe, comfortable, and has access to fresh food, water, and a clean litter box (for cats). I also take time to observe behavior and appetite so I can notice any changes early and respond appropriately by communicating with the owner. I respect each home I enter and treat it with care and professionalism. My goal is to provide a calm, reliable presence for your cat and clear communication for you, so you can feel confident while you are away.
“Lisseth is so wonderful and has taken such great care of our 3 cats! She is very responsive and gives great updates each day. The apartment and food bowls were kept so clean and her relationship with our kitties made us feel so at ease on vacation. We have booked with Lisseth multiple times and will definitely rebook!”

“My cat always hides but apparently not for Basya, whom she loved so much ! Left the apartment perfect and litter was cleaned very neatly. I'm so happy my cat has someone reliable and loving to watch her.”

“Dionne has dropped in to feed my cat for two of my trips now and she is amazing! She follows directions as given and sends updates. My cat seems more interactive with her than she has been for awhile, and is in a good mood when I return. Will book again!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life since childhood. I got my first cat when I was 8, later I had a dog, and since then caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have 4 cats of my own, including pets with special medical needs, and I take pet care very seriously. My mom runs a rescue in my home country, so helping animals is something truly family-based for me. For me, this is not just extra income, I treat pet care as a serious responsibility, and I understand how much trust owners place when leaving their pets with someone. I have experience with rescue animals, senior pets, and cats with serious health conditions, including diabetes, urinary issues, post-surgery recovery, and cancer care. I am calm, patient, and very attentive to detail. Skills & Experience: 1) Administering insulin injections and basic medications 2) Caring for diabetic pets and monitoring health conditions 3) Experience with oncology (cancer) and post-surgery recovery care 4) Senior pet care (gentle handling, comfort-focused care) 5) Cat care: feeding routines, litter care, behavior observation 6) Nail trimming for cats 7) Basic teeth cleaning 8) Dog walking and general dog care experience 9) Experience rescuing and fostering around 10 cats 10) Reliable pet sitting for friends and family when they travel I always treat every pet as my own and make sure they feel safe, calm, and cared for while their owner is away. Pet care fits into my weekly routine on specific days. Right now, I am available on Tuesdays and Fridays, and I can do morning, afternoon, or even late-night visits depending on the booking. I already care for my own cats every day, including a very strict medical routine. I regularly check blood glucose levels and administer insulin injections twice a day. Because of this, I’m very responsible, consistent, and comfortable following precise schedules without missing details. Even though my availability is limited to certain days, I fully dedicate my time and attention during visits. I make sure every pet receives proper care, monitoring, and calm, attentive support. I always prioritize safety, routine, and a calm environment when caring for pets. I carefully follow each pet’s instructions, including feeding schedules, medication, and special medical needs. I have experience with cats requiring insulin injections, health monitoring, and strict daily routines, so I am very responsible and detail-oriented. In any home, I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free, and I always keep their environment clean and secure.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Mapleton-Flatlands
Lori was extremely attentive and kind to my cat, Beatrice. She is an older cat who needs a lot of care (special food, 2 different types of eye drops, liquid medication) and Lori took care of everything with no issues. She also kept me updated on each visit and sent lots of photos, which is always appreciated. Will definitely be booking again!

Toi is very experienced in taking care of cats. Banjo is very shy, but Toi was able to get him to be a bit more open and friendly within a couple of drop-ins. I appreciate him taking extra time to get Banjo comfortable around him. I also appreciate the detailed updates with lots of photos. Thank you so much for taking care of Banjo!

Caitlin took great care of Ky while we were away! She was reliable, communicative, and always kept us updated with photos and notes after each visit. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Ky was in such attentive hands. We'd be happy to book with Caitlin again and highly recommend her!

Sara took wonderful care of Rikki and Mila with twice-daily visits for an entire week. Sarah followed all of our instructions and she sent detailed updates along with lots of great photos that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Communication was excellent throughout the week—she was quick to reach out with any questions and kept us informed every step of the way. We came home to two happy, relaxed, and very well-cared-for cats, which is the best review we could give. We would absolutely book Sara again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter!
